Testing the PXG XTREME golf ball head to head with the LEGENDARY PRO V1 golf ball | GOLF BALL COMPARISON
I have used the Titleist ProV1 Golf Ball for along back as I can remember due to its superior feel and control around the green!
The question PROV1 users like myself have, is will there ever be a better ball than the Titleist ProV1, or is there a better ball and we're just blinded by the reliability and familiarity of using a ProV1 for so long!
Let's put the trusty PROV1 one head to head with the NEW KID on the the BLOCK, the PXG XTREME GOLF BALL!

Yea, test it out on the course. I did a ball fitting a couple of years ago, and I wound up using a ball that I didn't test, because, playing on the course, it reacted the best on the green with chipping and iron approach shots.
GARY MARTIN please compare the Cut grey to the Titleist Pro V1 you will be amazed at the numbers. Really strong ball and half the price to the pro v1. Very good spin around the green as well.
Sounds good. Is there durability of the ball okay? I did test a cut last year and it was great but it marked up very easily.
@garymartingolf the Cut Grey is a pretty durable ball as well and Ive found it to be just as good or better than the pro v1

Now at £30 a box, I don’t think I’d even need to test it on the course 😆😅 haha , I’m going too though, just too see what it’s like on the really short touchy feels shots 👌🏼
That was a surprising result. Maybe the Pro V1x would suit you better Gaz 🤔
Everytime I’ve tried it, I’ve lost the soft touch around the green of pro v1. I’m sure the numbers would be better, but I’ve never had anything better than pro v1 for putting and chipping. I’ll give the Pxg a go, but I think it’ll be the same old story.
Goes to show the difference in personal choice and feeling in golf, as I prefer the firmer feeling and spin of the Pro V1x for chipping and putting.
But then your a pro an I ain't 👍😂

The numbers are great, but it’s still going to come down to durability and performance on close touchy shots for me.
Can you compare the PXG to left-dash?

I'm not a Pro V fan but I do love the PXG XTREME golf balls! I have a few dozen on hand but currently still using the Taylormade Tour Response Stripe! 🐊🏌⛳️🦅🇺🇲

Very very good question. At this stage, PXG, but I do need to test the pxg on close touchy shots as this is why I’ve used the pro v1 for all these years.

I've got a friend who walks his dog on a golf course and brings me a sack of balls every now and then. Ooh missus. I've had pro vs 1 and pxg and they are pretty similar. They both end up lost 😂

I put the driver on hold. I want to go back up to try it again. My numbers on the day didn’t seem consistent to normal, so I want to try it again, not sure if I had an off day.
@@garymartingolf I had a fitting at the same place, and watching yours was like watching mine. Seems very scripted. I left feeling really down from mine. I booked a fitting with Taylormade the next day and bought a Qi10. Completely different experiences for me

It's not a ball I even thought of trying no idea why. It's not easy figuring out whst balls is best I'm trying to figure it out just now
