If you’re not saved, the Lord is calling your name aloud from the hilltops, ready to give you His life if you’re willing to receive it (Prov 8:1-2). Actually, His life has been given already. You really only have to believe and receive willingly.
No matter how far gone you may be, He’s calling you to reason with Him as He takes away everything that separates you from Him. (Isa 1:18)
He loves you more than anyone could ever try to. All the price had been paid for you already. You only have to believe, receive Him in your life, make Him Lord over you and begin your journey of a saved life.
I’m in no way saying that Believers shouldn’t be friends with the unbelievers. In fact, If you do not have an unbelieving friend, you’re doing something wrong. Go and get yourself some unbelieving friends with an aim of INFLUENCING THEM and not the other way round.
What I’m saying is, we have a Father and Lord. And if our Lord says we shouldn’t be so closely joint in a relationship(marriage) to someone who is YET to be in the fold of Christ, I believe we should obey Him. If we trust Him, we should obey Him.
