I thought about doing this same process before. When I was thinking about buying a boat without a trailer. I found a jet ski trailer for real cheap and in great shape.
Hahahaha! Hey slick, looks to me like you got it backwards. Shouldn't the folding hinge be towards the back , so the longer part folds back???!!! Lolololol

@@JDSOutdoors I got to looking at my trailer and it’s a tilt trailer so the main beam that connects to the tongue isn’t welded to the frame. Thinking I’m going to extend the length there and weld it to the frame. Thank you!

Got this one super cheap and with the actual title which is for some reason hard to find on boat trailers. And it's an 01 so it was hard to pass up
My boat is a Pelican Bass Raider, I have like 3' overhang on a small motorcycle trailer. Will I be ok? The boat is very light though.
I have a pond prowler and it over hangs the 4ft and haven’t had an issue as long as it’s tied down it ain’t going anywhere

👍thanx
where did you find the extension?
Trailer supply stores
Plug weld?
Yes sir plug weld the tube in
I would of did this the other way around, so you can fold the tongue when the trailer is parked. Thats what the hinge is for.
You can fold it just fine the way it is.
Do you have a link? I can't find it
