Love it! Just started my IFR training a couple of weeks ago - had the same experience as you in the video, when I went on my first IFR flight in a Piper 28A-161 cadet. First time above the clouds is something you will never forget :-)
+FSinsight I can relate! I'm finishing up my multi-engine IFR training and breaking out above the clouds is still my absolute favourite thing in the world - Even if the Piper PA44-180 Seminole is a lot slower than a B737, I still get an overwhelming sense of how bloody FAST the aircraft is travelling when skimming the tops of the clouds :)
Being a pilot is my dream job, ever since I was little I've wanted to be up in the skies. Currently, i'm 14 years old and never been in a plane however, I extremely fascinated by flight and would love to do it for a job. I'd like to ask you for advice to become a pilot if you do not mind. Firstly, how did you become a pilot (also how much money did it cost)? Well, the thing i'm stuck with is options, I cannot take flying lessons as I do not have anywhere near that amount of money. I was thinking about joining a university that does Pilot Studies and gaining my wings from there but, It's getting an airline to hire me straight from Uni. Finally, my last option and probably the one i'll have to go for is the Royal Air Force. The RAF seems great and i'd love the fact that i'm doing it for my country and it doesn't cost. However, that is not my preferred route as I'd much rather just become a commercial pilot and travel around the globe. So anyway, please could you give me advice on what route I should take and what would be best, thank you.
Hey I would recommend looking at pilot careers events and stuff like that I went to one and I learnt a lot. Also maybe get a job join air. Cadets to fly too I am an air cadet and it's great! I too am 14 years old :). What GCSEs have you taken?
I'll look into them and think about the Air Cadets, I'm sure theres one about a mile away from my house so I'll check it out. :) I've took English, Maths, Spanish, Geography, Triple Science, Computer Science, how about you?
I bet seeing this never gets old :-) Beautiful!
Love it!

How can your comment in any way be related to what I'm talking about?
Wow, you figured that out all on your own?
Still dont get why you have to write it to me?
It's the internet, exactly. Why not stop commenting insignificant things
