Tremor was never meant to match or outdo the Raptor. I remember the Raptor intro, 100mph runs off road in the desert, Tremor intro was rock crawling(55:1 Crawl) and towing/hauling both of which the Raptor can not do. Plus to have a better off road Tremor one should get the light weight 7.3 not the 6.7 thats in the video. For the $4k Tremor pack you get a bunch of off road software plus the small lift/33 inch water fording, the 55:1 crawl and 35 inch tires stock. The best thing about the Tremor is it starts at $53k and can be had for under $50k. If you want more, or just to go out and run with the sand rails one would be best to build a base 250.
Or if you want the appearance, the performance and longevity of a diesel, and the added electronics and options offered in the Tremor, you get this truck and add a capable suspension system to it for more off road ability. Seems like a win win to us and the customer felt the same!
mmm? longevity of diesel engines is a thing of the past considering all the emissions that are required on modern diesels. Well over double the maintenance cost. Only justification for a modern diesel truck is heavy towing performance which was almost eliminated with that progressive rear spring. You could literally buy 3+ 7.3l engines for the price of one Power stroke 6.7l replacement engine. Plus to do any major engine work to that Power stroke Diesel the cab has to come off the frame first which blows. Need I mention EGR cooler Problems, clogged particulate filters, DEF, Or shitty USA diesel that requires additives? Diesels and bitching aside, awesome video!
It all depends on what's important to you! The Temor package does give you unique upgrades that you can't get anywhere else like extra waterproofing on the truck, a front limited slip, etc etc.
I love those wheels. Im looking on your website at the exact same wheel in the black anodized color. What offset did the owner of this truck choose? I am on the fence between the 0mm, and the +12mm offset.
That would be stock F-250 payload. The Tremor has the same as a normal F-350 since they use the same leaf spring pack to give the Tremor a “factory lift.” That’s why all Tremors come with the max tow package.
Is it absolutely necessary to get the comuter system if the truck won't see much or any offroad? Guess what I'm asking is if the pintop kit is good for a on road truck

Your dead on with your comments. The host did mention the tremor is a tad bit better than a normal superduty offroad, which has proven to be correct. I fell it is a better overall package than the powerwagon for sure.
Here's a video that should answer that question: ruclips.net/video/PwrD2F1J240/видео.html Typically the King rebuild interval is anywhere from 30-90k miles depending on how hard you drive the truck. It's similar to most shock setups!
The tremor package is for people who don't want to mod their truck but get a lifted stance with decent looking wheel/tire combo from the factory. I had $4,000 wheels on my last truck before it got t-boned by a drunk driver- car insurance doesn't cover their replacement over factory and have fun going through the effort and cost of suing someone for the difference, especially if they're a broke scumbag with a thousand creditors in line ahead of you.
if you are going to do a Pintop upgrade is there any point in ordering the Tremor package (e.g. what else do you get beyond suspension - assume i would upgrade the wheels to 37" too)?
Cody, what would be needed to stick 40" tires on this particular trim? Would you need to move the front axle forward an inch or so like the AEV RAM HD suspension?
Tremor Package is an appearence package? I am not buying that. It is a sticker with black wheels, but the difference is in the suspension shock system and driving modes. It is designed to give better off road performance while miantianing it ability to haul and pull like a beast and it does a damn good job from the factory. Can you enhance it with after market mods, Sure!
It’s complicated since the new F-250 trucks now sit lower, so the Tremors sit at the old height essentially. The truck got the Carli 2.5” lift coils and full rear pack, which translates to a 2” front lift and 1” rear lift. On the standard 2020 F-250 that would be 3.5” of front lift and 1” of rear. The parts are the same from the 17+ trucks.
Awesome. I’ve been considering the carli upgrade for a while. I do haul 1k in the bed from time to time as well as a 5k lb trailer. How much does this setup affect payload and towing?
The speedo isn’t that far off in typical driving, but you’re welcome to change it with a speedo calibration tool after installing 37s! There’s plenty of options.
Absolutely since it comes with plenty of useful options like water fording axles, front limited slip diff etc etc. The suspension is nothing special so there’s no harm in ripping it off.
@@CJCOffRoad would that mean that on the '17-'19 trucks that they sit 1in. higher in the rear with this kit? All Super Dutys regardless of F-250-F-350 are sharing the same short block for 2020 right?
@cjcoffroad I am in the market for a heavy duty truck and the Tremor is up there. You guys have built pretty much what I want with that rig. Question is going to a 37" tire what gear ratio would be the best option, considering 4.30s are an option directly from Ford. Looking for your advice. Thanks
If you want your truck to feel OEM, use an online gearing calculator to determine exactly what gears you need to get back to your desired ratio with 37s. That takes all the guessing out of it!
Probably an entire year worth of payments, most likely more. King is one of the best and most expensive in the business and this dude went for more than the standard. Regardless of what this guys wallet was, he is an idiot thinking this Superduty was meant to be a Raptor killer.. Not even Ford compares it to the Raptor, its more of a diesel competitor to the Power Wagon
5:24 I don't know how that guy is going to get away with front side windows tinted that dark in California. The most I've ever done is one level down from that and have had issues even at that level.
Awesome, thank you for the reply. I don’t believe you mentioned how much the customer paid for this particular lift kit? I’m looking to get an F-250 but I’m not sure if I should go with the Lariat or Tremor package and have you add the lift kit.
Ford will never do King shocks. I’ve mentioned it to all the guys that matter at Ford and it’s not an interest. They are just starting to embrace larger 35” tires. Being the owner of many trucks through the years with Carli Pintop’s, the best way to buy a Superduty is to get a Lariat, don’t buy the Tremor kit.... the ‘upgraded’ shocks are China made to Rancho specs and will be tossed in the trash, so will the wheels, .... buy the full Pintop kit which costs around $8500. The majority buyers of Carli kits have XLT trim...they don’t care about luxury, they only want ride quality.
The only time we recommend both is for trucks doing heavy off road driving at the absolute limits. For street driving one or the other gets the job done!
This video is the first one I ever heard anyone comparing this truck to a raptor. It’s typically been compared to a power wagon and that’s it.

Here's a video that should answer that question: ruclips.net/video/PwrD2F1J240/видео.html
Typically the King rebuild interval is anywhere from 30-90k miles depending on how hard you drive the truck. It's similar to most shock setups!
How much would it impact the towing capacity?
Do led lights come stock on the 2020 f250 XLT Tremor? I don’t have LEDS. Thanks
It all depends on the trim package!
Nice editing!
Can’t find any still pics of this truck on IG or FB. Need some still photos for my wallpaper lol
We have a few on our instagram!
6:15 "Stock shocks painted black with a Tremor sticker on them".
*Well done, Ford.*
What is the overall height of an f-250 with the leveling kit and 37s?
What offset and backspacing are these wheels???
What psi is he running?
Can you fit a full-sized spare in the oem spare tire carrier with that wheel/tire package?
No you can’t unfortunately. 37s will not fit under the truck.
Is the Tremor package worth it if you have to upgrade the suspension for optimal off road performance?
The tremor package is for people who don't want to mod their truck but get a lifted stance with decent looking wheel/tire combo from the factory. I had $4,000 wheels on my last truck before it got t-boned by a drunk driver- car insurance doesn't cover their replacement over factory and have fun going through the effort and cost of suing someone for the difference, especially if they're a broke scumbag with a thousand creditors in line ahead of you.
How does the Carli compare to Kelderman?
Kelderman has the novelty of height adjustment, but if off road ride quality and performance is of any concern, Carli is the way to go.
@@CJCOffRoad thank you
How would a CDN truck get this upgrade, or a quality substitute? Thank you.
We ship to Canada all the time!
@@CJCOffRoad Excellent. We’ll have to talk… Cheers!
if you are going to do a Pintop upgrade is there any point in ordering the Tremor package (e.g. what else do you get beyond suspension - assume i would upgrade the wheels to 37" too)?
Yes. This is just enhancing what the tremor came with.
What was the overall height of this tremor after the upgrades?
Amen, please let us know how tall it is? Thanks...
Is the Carli 2.5 pintop also a level? I noticed there is a level kit and then the 2.5 pintop on the website.
Any of the Carli 2.5"/3.5" systems will fall under the "leveling kit" name since they aren't lifting the rear of the truck an appreciable amount.
@@CJCOffRoad what components do you recommend to help fight the awesome death wobble
I do wonder if all the changes would effect the payload
I’m wondering the same thing. Is it possible to upgrade for off-roading without sacrifice payload and towing capacity?
@@FisFis86 he said payload is affected slightly. You can bring that back with the airbags. Seems worth it for the ride quality.
how much lift did the truck actually get? tremors come with a factory lift already. any rear lift?
It’s complicated since the new F-250 trucks now sit lower, so the Tremors sit at the old height essentially. The truck got the Carli 2.5” lift coils and full rear pack, which translates to a 2” front lift and 1” rear lift. On the standard 2020 F-250 that would be 3.5” of front lift and 1” of rear. The parts are the same from the 17+ trucks.
Truck came out great! To the point video with amazing clarity. What camera are you guys using to record? Keep it up!
Thanks for the kind words! This is all shot with a Sony a7riii 👍
Awesome. I’ve been considering the carli upgrade for a while. I do haul 1k in the bed from time to time as well as a 5k lb trailer. How much does this setup affect payload and towing?
The Fords have several rear spring options depending on your needs so you can maintain full payload and towing if desired.
@@CJCOffRoad Thanks!
Any idea on the offset on the wheels? Love the 17s on 37s
These are 5" backspace which is about 0 offset.
Are speedometer calibrations required after this type of upgrade ?
The speedo isn’t that far off in typical driving, but you’re welcome to change it with a speedo calibration tool after installing 37s! There’s plenty of options.
I’d love that in white. With the 7.3.
Two questions: How much does this build cost and did you guys adjust the speedometer to account for the bigger tires?
Cost all depends on the exact options and wheel specs, but yes we did change the speedo and TPMS 👍
Is there a point in getting the Tremor if you’re doing these mods anyway?
Absolutely since it comes with plenty of useful options like water fording axles, front limited slip diff etc etc. The suspension is nothing special so there’s no harm in ripping it off.
Looks like a sweet setup and I have a Tremor coming in June. What's a package setup like this cost installed?
You can price everything out on our website with the exact options you need! www.cjcoffroad.com/Carli-2017-Ford-Systems-s/2268.htm
Would the 3.5in. kit now be nose high since the rear blocks are now shorter and running the 3.5in. level coils on these non Tremor 2020's?
No the truck still sits fully level.
@@CJCOffRoad would that mean that on the '17-'19 trucks that they sit 1in. higher in the rear with this kit?
All Super Dutys regardless of F-250-F-350 are sharing the same short block for 2020 right?
How much did the upgrade cost?
Why not just get the FX4 package and do the suspension you'll save $2K? A
nd you can get the FX4 pkg in the 8ft be and DRW if desired!
I heard, since Ford lowered their new 2020s 2 inches, that they had a ton of 2019 suspensions left over because it's sits the exact same as a 19'.
@HalfShell Yes the left over suspensions form go in the tremors.
I'd like to think there would be a difference wether you have a gas or diesel engine with this package.
Correct, Carli just finalized the gas version of this system with a different spring and shock tune.
really quality content, great work guys
Did you guys do any cutting to get the wheels to fit?
This truck has very minimal trimming.
CJC Off Road nice, note I’m just waiting on you guys to ship mine. 😂 patiently waiting
How much is that full set up?
Just click the pinned comment for links to the parts!
So amazing i want this now.
With the 10 speed and all that torque the 4.30's will be fine.
FABULOUS OFF ROAD DESIGNS awesome thanks.
3:31 and 3:55 are the only diesel options. 4:10 with the 7.3 gas don’t think they offer a 4:30 accept in the 450dually
Nice!! What does this whole package cost that was installed?
You can price everything out for your specific truck on our website! www.cjcoffroad.com
Was a lot of trimming necessary to fit the 37s?
Nope! These Fords have a ton of room. They actually have the most fender space out of the big three.
total build cost?
Is the stance level or is there still a slight rake?
It’s pretty much perfectly level.
What rock rails are those?
Factory Tremor steps!
Be cool to see those G600's on a third gen Cummins. Lookin good on the F250 tho!
For the rears, what do you recommend if carrying 1200-1800lbs payload? Thx.
We recommend staying with the factory rear springs in that situation.
CJC Off Road Or get the airbag upgrade?
How much do airbag setups run?
5:24 I don't know how that guy is going to get away with front side windows tinted that dark in California. The most I've ever done is one level down from that and have had issues even at that level.
Where is CJC located?
We're in Long Beach, Ca!
The majority buyers of Carli kits have XLT trim...they don’t care about luxury, they only want ride quality.
zfilmmaker that’s exactly what I just can’t wait until it all comes in😂
how much is the whole suspension kit in this video, without the wheels and tires ? thanks
$18,499.99
$7819.40 according to Carli’s website
You can price everything out on our website with the options you want! That will give you an exact price for your truck.
Do you recommend the low mount stabilizer to go with the hight mount?
The only time we recommend both is for trucks doing heavy off road driving at the absolute limits. For street driving one or the other gets the job done!
@@CJCOffRoad could you explain to me why you would choose both? Thank you...
