I would probably do the 2.5” Backcountry with full rear spring pack and 35” tires. The TREMOR as it comes from the factory is good enough for me right now and even though it’s a price bump, it’s negligible when you look at what Ford charges to go from XLT to LARIAT, or LARIAT to whatever else package just to get bells & whistles. Plus I got a good deal as I bought my truck right when the COVID-19 panic started so they were hurting for sales. I bought an XLT version so it was not crazy expensive. Doesn’t the tremor package come with its own upgraded suspension? I get that the carli upgrade is better but....doesn’t it defeat the purpose of paying extra for the tremor package when he coulda bought a regular f250? Does the tremor package come with more extras than just the suspension?
The Tremor package suspension is actually just factory suspension from the 17-18 F-350 trucks with a sticker on the FX4 shocks. The allure of the Tremor is all the other extras and options that come with the package. The suspension is nothing special.
So from I understand the tremor pkge comes with a 2” from factory. Let’s say if we go with a Cali 2.5” lift kit, then are we really gaining 1/2” lift? If that’s the case, then the best option is to go with the 4.5” lift? Right? Thanks
No the 2.5" system gives the Tremor 2.5" over factory height. All 17+ trucks all use the same coil part number. 17-20 and 20+ Tremors like this are a 2.5” height increase from factory. Normal 20+ Super Duty trucks get 3.5” of height increase since Ford actually lowered those trucks. The 4.5" systems are 4.5" on 20+ Tremor trucks and 5.5" on the standard 2020+ trucks.

Sweet truck. Did they re-gear the axles? Can the factory front limited slip handled 38s? I have Detrot Truetrac in front of my 07 F250 and Eaton says no bigger than 37 tires
I'm not great with load ranges on these tires. I know these tires are D rated. I know the 37's are be E rated. 3750 lbs vs 4300 lbs. Does it really make that much difference if you're getting the long travel air bags and only plan on towing occasionally?
We recommend no higher than 45 front and 40 rear with an empty truck, but highly recommend doing the chalk line test to dial in exact pressures for your truck.

Slam’s Shenanigans the stock Tremors actually have identical suspension to a 2017 Ford F-350, so they’ll ride just like the white truck in the video. The suspension on those trucks is nothing special at all!
Okay, I'm confused. Isn't the whole point of the Tremor package to get the 7.3, the 34" wheels and tires and the upgraded suspension? Then you are just going to swap out the wheels/tire/suspension and get the 6.7 diesel? Why don't you just start with a lariat with a 6.7?
The suspension is actually just 17-18 F-350 suspension so it’s nothing special. The benefit of a Tremor is all the other upgrades like water fording axles, a limited slip front diff etc etc.

Did they re-gear the axles? Can the factory front limited slip handled 38s?
I have Detrot Truetrac in front of my 07 F250 and Eaton says no bigger than 37 tires
This truck is on factory gears. With the 10 speed trans there’s really no need to re-gear.
Any recommendation for authorized installers in Michigan?
Great build. Where are you guys located?
Los Angeles, Ca.
I'm not great with load ranges on these tires. I know these tires are D rated. I know the 37's are be E rated. 3750 lbs vs 4300 lbs. Does it really make that much difference if you're getting the long travel air bags and only plan on towing occasionally?
Tire selection comes down to how you use the truck. If the rear end won’t see over 3700 pounds per tire, then you’re set.
How much for this upgrade ? I have that truck
I have this exact setup on my tremor but I am struggling with the tire PSI. What do you recommend?
We recommend no higher than 45 front and 40 rear with an empty truck, but highly recommend doing the chalk line test to dial in exact pressures for your truck.
where are the airbags listed on your page? these or the floating firestones...
Here’s a link to the various airbags available for Ford trucks on our website: www.cjcoffroad.com/Ford-Super-Duty-Air-Bags-s/223.htm
The Carli long travel airbags are going to offer the best ride out of the two options!
Looks great sitting in a parking lot, I'll have to look further and see if you guys actually show your stuff off road?
Check out this video: ruclips.net/video/PwrD2F1J240/видео.html or this video:ruclips.net/video/USNihv_OBsU/видео.html and they should show exactly what you’re looking for!
CJC Off Road that’s what I was looking for thanks! It would be good to see a stock tremor comparison if you could talk a customer into it
Slam’s Shenanigans the stock Tremors actually have identical suspension to a 2017 Ford F-350, so they’ll ride just like the white truck in the video. The suspension on those trucks is nothing special at all!
CJC Off Road interesting, I was told the coils are different, different shocks and only the rear spring pack was identical to the 350?
So sick
Okay, I'm confused. Isn't the whole point of the Tremor package to get the 7.3, the 34" wheels and tires and the upgraded suspension? Then you are just going to swap out the wheels/tire/suspension and get the 6.7 diesel? Why don't you just start with a lariat with a 6.7?
The suspension is actually just 17-18 F-350 suspension so it’s nothing special. The benefit of a Tremor is all the other upgrades like water fording axles, a limited slip front diff etc etc.
@@CJCOffRoad thanks for the response!

Great job as usual guys.
Wow that truck looks sweet. I’m looking at buying an F250 and want to do a Carli setup. I live in CT. Are there places near CT that can do the work? How much does a set up like this run? Just trying to get a price range?
@@danieljackson8266 We'll ship to any shop and we're happy to work your local installer. If you want pricing, just click the links in that comment above and you can shop for the exact kit you want on your truck. Pricing is exactly what you see on our website!
