Looks like the 2024 C8 Corvette lineup might be getting cooling system updates! What do you guys think about all the changes/pricing? 🤔
Look into the Green colors Of C8 corvette’s. Lime rock green . Polo Green , Bowling Green . More Darker shades of the Greens. 1 now Hmm , have to see in person sunlight, etc .. also a Dark Blue Metallic. Etc .. Admiral Blue, A Black Cherry Metallic Color etc… some colors like to see Chevy. Put out in the Future ……
My 23 c8 z51 ran warm and over heated a few times. 280 degrees was the highest I saw while street driving. Dealership told me to run it until it blows up. Under warranty and it would be fixed after catastrophe blow up. Terrible Chevy dealership experience in the service department.
Honestly I think the radiator thing is just a copy/paste but from the eray to z06 and stingray and shouldn't be a reality. Time will tell

Unfortunately, as far as the new spoiler goes on the stingray, according to my dealership, when I turn my order in, I was told not to add it to my order, or it would kick my order out.
I couldn't be happier with what GM is doing with the C8. If I had to change anything, I'd change the wheel designs and some of the paint color options. But other than that, the C8 is shaping up very nicely to be a legend. These are exciting times for sure. Can't wait for the ZR1 and Zora. Also, I'm hearing that the C9 will retain a V8 engine, which is fantastic news. Even if it's hybrid only, at least we get to keep the V8!
'Hybrid only' refers to a vehicle with both an electric motor and an ICE, as with the current C8. And I suspect that will be the case for quite some time. Could they manufacture an electric only car? Certainly. And of course they could continue producing ICE only cars as well. However, emission laws could certainly alter the landscape and perhaps lead to the end of ICE which, at some point, I believe will be the case.
The price of the spoiler is waaaay too high but the good thing is that aftermarket companies will be able to use it to make a better design. I don’t like the Sigala one at all, AGM has a nice one though.

Engine appearance packing for convertible is when you select the convertible to build and the visible engine cover is an option by itself
Clear engine cover is now available to select in z06 build. Also radiator guards are available now as factory option.

@@HorsePowerObsessed I remembered the clear window option (yesterday) on the HTC being $1000 and then the engine cover an additional $495, but I will check again.
I just checked it is $995 for the window and the painted covers are another $495
Love the wheels that come with the e-ray. They make the e-ray looks like a Ferrari.
The wheels the eray comes with are pure fire.

My 2023 C8 should be here probably in 8 weeks but I forgot to add front-lift to my order and its not sitting on 3000 status 😭 i am happy and sad at the same time because I wish i could add front lift.
You’ll be fine from what I’ve heard from C8 drivers on the forum and out in the wild that I’ve talked to. They all essentially say if your not used to driving sports cars or lower sitting cars then get it. But if you do then don’t get it
Engine appearance package is not free, if you select the engine cover it will add extra $995

Great info! Thanks. I've heard the base price on the ZO6 is going up $2800 for a 1LZ plus $200 increase for delivery so $3k total increase, $2700 increase for 2LZ and 3LZ coupes including delivery. That means coupes are 3LZ $123,245, 2LZ $118,595, 1LZ $109,695 including delivery if I got that right. Convertibles ZO6's are 1LZ $116,695 (up $2500), 2LZ $125,595 (up $2700), 3LZ $130,245 (up $2700) including delivery. I'm relieved pricing didn't go up more drastically. Love the additions for 2024. I've also heard they start production on the 2024 ZO6 on September 5th.

Was thinking about trading in a C8 Z51 base Stingray for a Eray after using the build and price for a bit, it's getting harder to justify giving up the base Stingray.
Are you joking right? The e ray is 100% worth it over the stingray. I sold my stingray because it looked too basic from the outside and because it handled so terrible compared to my c7 z06. The e ray is suppose to do better than the c7 z06. Huge upgrade! Every penny is worth it! It’s the best bang for the buck for a supercar. Stingray is just a basic sports car
If I luv my c8 after a year, I’ll even upgrade to the z06.

I'm thinking the extra radiator for the E-Ray image just ended up going into the other models on the builder as a glitch, so to speak!
Also, I think the Z06 pricing will fix in the builder too, as there are probably some increase adjustments or errors currently. GM won't leave it to the dealerships.
I've heard the Red A.I. for the Z06 will be available for the 2024 model year HTCs.
Sucks that I couldn't get it for my 70th AE HTC Spec Z06 build 😢

Love the two stanchion spoiler I would prefer to get that option directly from GM even at a premium
75% of the ceramic brakes going to the E Ray because they come standard which means less available for the rest of the line.

Justin The Stingray Carbon two post new high wing looks great and even better with the carbon ground effects pkg I wounder how much down force the wing alone increases and the drag? what would the top speed be with this wing.? It adds just enough in your face presence and character without being obnoxious, balanced.
I don't see there being any additional downforce created with the new wing, usually they don't change that kind of stuff up mid cycle without an additional facelift of some kind.
I'm going to avoid dealerships for the next year. Hopefully the way over MSRP prices will disappear. GM sucks under Barra. Just my opinion.

I ordered mine w/o a spoiler cause I’m definitely getting the 2-wing. NOT at their price, wayyyy to high. Aftermarket is less than 1/2 of that
I want the 2 post wing as well. I figured I will have to do the same because honestly that whole package prices me out of my builds range. I’m currently 12 at my dealership. I’m also getting married in November. So I need to definitely cut some corners on the C8 order.
@@Darth_Arashi there’s 2 aftermarket ones I know so far, the AGM & sigala one. I thing the AGM is the better one. I did cut corners by going 1LT(not having a $1000 payment that isn’t my daily). I did a few options & extra for the orange color & came out around 70k. IF I think the c8 is the best thing since slice bread after a year, I’m ordering the z06

1lt doesn't but the 1lz does.
I want that damn spoiler but I’m not going to lie it prices me out of my budget. So I’m most likely going to have to wait until that spoiler is sold aftermarket either that or drop to the 1LT which I’m fine with as well.
Solve the transmission issue
One thing with the Z06 is you only get the $5,000 bonus for the 2023 model not the 2024 for keeping it for 6 months.

Assuming that the additional radiator is only on the E-ray, could it be to cool the electric motor?
It's definitely on the ERAY and likely for cooling the electric components but it doesn't explain why it would be present on the Z06 or Stingray...

Sorry I completely disagree GM should have produced a two-stanchion post high wing to begin with and never the 4 post and everyone should have the ability to get one directly from GM.

Museum pick up increased $500 and still doesn't include lunch.
Could the lack of ZO6 pricing be reflective of the demand has been so great, unless the customer is already on a list, the reality is you’re not getting a car for 5 years or more. It’s not like you can order a car. There must be an allocation available.
And, perhaps GM is trying to avoid “Price Protection”. The cost down the line is going to undoubtedly increase from year to year. Production could at some point come to an end and GM is trying to avoid painting themselves into a corner.
Then having an order/sale pending on a unit that can’t be delivered could create a situation of a lawsuit being filed?
I would think that for a rough comparison in price, the ZO6 options will be close to those on the E-Ray.
I'm pretty sure the Z06 has always had 3 radiators up front. I did a video at the bash last year and towards the end, you can see me pointing them all out to my wife.

😮💨 New features? They didn't make any of them faster in a straight line or around a corner... just some cosmetic changes... oh and some tech that has nothing to do with performance 🙄. All 3 vehicles are slower than the Porsche Gt3rs and 911 turbo s . Yeah they're cheaper, but at least one should be faster around a race course. Just one (in my Lionel Richie voice)
