@karlwithak. You win - your’s is the most ignorant statement I’ve read all week. I can understand if you don’t like the Corvette, I was with you on the bit about ridiculous options; however, to say anyone who likes US vehicles is dull and doesn’t care…who says stuff like that. True car enthusiasts appreciate great cars regardless of their origin - German, Japanese, US doesn’t matter. There are great, fun to drive cars being produced all over the world; you can’t deny it. Your comment only shows that you are not a true car enthusiast.
@karlwithak. No reason to be a downer as there is still a vibrant used market for the C8s with some great deals on 2LTs and 3LTs (even HTCs). If you are looking the best Bang for Buck go get a C6 Z06.
Instead of worrying about paint, striping, carbon fibre crap and the like, they should add something useful like protective grills in front of the coolers in front, which should have been there all along.
I was wondering about this very thing and why they weren't already included.
I had thought that was going to become an offer or standard.

Take a hard look at the C8:
• GM started with a clean sheet of paper when it comes to the design of the C8 and this was the best they could do??!!! Steal the taillights off of a down line car (Camaro) for their flagship corporate supercar??!!! Who in GM gave the green light for this stupid move??!!!
• Interior design done by 10th graders! What a hack job! who thought it was a brilliant idea to put HVAC controls on small buttons down a center rail separating the driver and passenger??!!! Lamborghini brought out the Huracan Tecnica at about the same time and look at Lamborghini's corporate video on how they designed that car!!!
• Exterior design - is just off and doesn't flow like either Ferrari, Lamborghini or even the Lotus Emira!!!
• Quality of build is typical GM - which means very very poor. Search RUclips on all the current owner's problems with the C8 Z06! There is even one owner with a Z06 and the carbon fiber wheels that he had to have the dealer remove the tires from but the dealer said they couldn't do it. Maybe they don't have the equipment to remove the tire without destroying the CF wheel. The owner called GM and got zero response. He had to go to a local Ferrari dealer for help with getting the tires off of the CF wheel!!! Is this insane or what??!!!
I’m really interested in how much the base price and options increase. It’s insane how much groceries have increased so I definitely can see this car increasing. Yet in my industry they don’t want us to raise prices. 😏

Can't wait to see the new two post mount high wing next week and interested in the 5 split spoke sterling silver forged aluminum wheels would order with red mist metalic tint coat and natural dipped interior, bright polished 15 spoke wheel is cool too. The 20 spoke bright silver wheels are a back up but forged wheels are the way to go. I almost wonder if in 2028 GM may have a 75th Silver Anniversary Edition with Sterling silver paint and bright exotic purple exterior or interior or both would be interesting to see. 1953 corvette beginnings I believe

I just built my spec today for my 24 stingray and the first thing I looked for was the 06 style spoiler it’s $6100 but I ordered it on my car. I love the way it looks. I think the new spoiler for stingray is not as high as the one that’s on the Z06
No carbon flash option for trim pieces on the E-Ray like the one Cacti color preproduction car that we have all seen? Again to distinguish it from the Z06 apparently.
It'd be cool if GM saw fit to offer a Z06-style center exit exhaust as an appearance/performance package or stand-alone option on the Stingray.
I'm glad Chevrolet is offering the split wing to the Stingray. I've seen Toyota Camrys running around with the split wing.
So basically they adding all safety features that could have prevented alot high speed crashes and deaths. Good to see them get on board with all the rest of the car industry.

I agreed with other guys... Even though Im happy that you are gonna get your Z06, I think the dealetship ultimately tried to screw you and only after you made that video, they decided to cave in in fear of bad press, loss of credibility and ultimately loss of business.
I doubt anyone that saw your video will ever deal with that dealership. And Im happy about that cause dishonest business should not thrive on other people's misery... in America. However, I super happy for you buddy, even though it probably cost you few years of life and some grey hair.

Since they already said what the price of the E-Ray will be and they only raise the price of the Z06. That might make more sense. I thought the small price difference between the two was silly. But If the price for the E-Ray already had the price bump added in and now the Z06 will be 5-8 thousand more for 2024, this better justifies the price of the E-Ray. But still think the E-Ray is 10-13 thousand over priced. Wish we weren't forced into the ceramic kit for the E-Ray.

Removing the white color is a bad mistake. GM must be saving money by removing it.
If this 2024 model car sells for 8k more, I'm OUT! I could stomach 2-3K, but after that, I'm done.
Looks like my order will miss the 23 model year, but hopefully the 2LT trim will be a cheaper jump from 1LT since the mirror is standard. Or maybe 1LT w/ PDR will be good enough!

That's a tough question to answer. You can afford it on a small amount of money but it really depends on how you spend/save.

Chevy just killed the value in the 70th Anniv. CF Stingray; Pearl White should be OK. Love the standard rear view mirror camera. That means a loaded 3LT Coupe will be $100k and HTC will be $107k+ ?

I wanted the Z06 or the ZR1 sooo bad and i love your channel.
I am going to grab the Ferrari 295 GTB It's a better buy. The Z06 is now selling for $259k which is ridiculous. The car is no where near worth that. The demand is not near met and Corvette is no longer available for the buyer who got it there. Chevy should not allow price gouging.

The wheels on the last one look decent, but for most I've seen the wheels look like crap on these...those common too-small looking black ones w/the polished outer lip, horrible. A Honda Civic has better looking wheels.

I'm a purist I have a c6 GS convertible And i couldn't be happier, im a blue collar worker Corvette has reached the limit of my budget! Therefore i would buy a Porsche, its an investment, in a few years older mid engine corvettes will be cheaper then dog food

GM has destroyed the Corvette with the C8. Corvette used to be in a class by itself. It’s lost its identity and now it’s just another super car. I wish they would have kept the Corvette as a front engine rear drive sports car like it’s always been. I think they could have still built the C8 and still had the C7. The C8 could have been named Zora or Stingray and left the Corvette as corvette. Don’t get me wrong the C8 is an amazing car it’s just not a Corvette anymore.
