    Final thoughts:
The unpardonable sin today is the state of continued unbelief. The Spirit currently convicts the unsaved world of sin, righteousness and judgement (John 16:8). To resist that conviction and willfully remain unrepentant is to ‘blaspheme’ the Spirit. There is no pardon either in this age or in the age to come.

Right. You cannot be forgiven of your sin if you do not believe you need it, which would lead to repentance and asking God's forgiveness. That is why it would be impossible for that person to be saved.

Well the blasphemy of the spirit really can take place today. I mean you yourself had said that even today the holy spirit is convicting the world of their need for a savior and when they die within an unpardoned state from rejecting Jesus as their savior. That still is the sin against the holy spirit. Joseph Prince puts it like this "To blaspheme the holy spirit is to reject Jesus Christ as your savior whom the holy Spirit testifies." I think what you're thinking of what can't be repeated today is the incarnation version of it. Because Jesus is not here in his mortal body. His spirit is here though. I always listen to his voice and I always see his loving face. But technically what can't be repeated today is the incarnation version of the unpardonable sin

Even tho someone is casting out demons out of someone it’s not Jesus it’s a man we HAVE to witness it with jesus perform his miracles with our eyes.
Even tho he is here we have to witness HUMAN Jesus, not spirit Jesus to fully commit the sin.
Yet we are not Jesus to be that close to god and the spirit.dosent matter if someone says a blasphemy phrase bc they have not fit the requirements to do the sin

From what I researched there are more than one ways to commit this sin . Think of adultery for example it is a separate sin from something like gambling but there are multiple ways it can be committed. Being rebellious towards God by sinning deliberately will make people have a heart hard for God to knock. While I don’t think it’s okay to slander God. There is a verse that mentions if a born-again believer falls away from faith and become a atheist then that person is crucifying Jesus all over again. A born-from the start atheist can always have their thief on the cross moments. It’s all about rejecting Jesus. I thought I committed but what I’m really going through was a mental block. A lot of my memories are lost. From what the Holy Spirit told as long as I don’t deny him I will be okay.

The Bible teaches that salvation is a free gift of God’s grace received through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). Once a person genuinely believes in Christ and receives salvation, they are eternally secure in their relationship with God (John 10:28-29). It is not based on our own works or ability to maintain our faith but on the finished work of Christ on the cross. A Christian cannot lose salvation regardless of the subsequent sins committed.

Genuine question from a new Christian. If people in the time of Jesus’ ministry were given an opportunity to witness Him in the flesh, then why would someone not be forgiven because they did not believe without seeing? I guess the better question is, what is the line of unbelief? Is it attacking the faith or seeking to lead His followers astray, or is dying a lukewarm atheist enough to condemn someone?

    • @spacelinx

I used to be amazed at how people in Jesus’ own time didn’t believe in Him as the Messiah, Sonf of God. The more I’ve experienced life, the more I’ve found that people do similar things every day with things that can be proven. It’s usually because people only see what they want to see, or reject what they see or learn because it challenges their own beliefs about a subject. The Pharisees and others with a hardened heart drunk on their own power and desiring what they want and know to be morally wrong more than what Jesus teaches us were no different.

    • @spacelinx
      @spacelinx Год назад +1

As far as the line of unbelief, it’s normal to question faith from time to time. The main part of the unpardonable unbelief is full on rejection of Jesus for your life, whatever the reason may be. Everything else is a journey towards Christian perfection until you meet Jesus. This is what sanctification is, as described in a very paraphrased way by John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church. We’re going to mess up, but God is always there welcoming us back with forgiving hands, ready to show us the way forward from our mistakes.

I don’t think that’s what he meant. He was saying the Pharisees knew He was the Messiah, yet willfully slandered the Spirit that was within Him. In other words it was not an ignorant or accidental sin but an informed and purposeful one. The logic he was using made sense, those who take the mark of the beast will be willfully worshipping the beast, therefore a worshipper of Christ will not take the mark of the beast because the Spirit is working in them and through them. All wrong. Why the Bible does not immediately make clear what this Unforgivable Sin is the fault of the reader... the mystery becomes clear in the context as to what this sin is all about. In the phrase, "whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost..." Mt.12:32, is told us in the same context as to what this sin entails in v.34. This answer's other such Unpardonable Sins such as idol worship, Deu.29:20 context, and falling away from exposure to the Gospel of Jesus Christ as in Heb.6:4-8 and Eph.2:1-3, 1Jn.5:16-21 also, for example. When in 1John God declares, "The whole world lieth in wickedness," the word "wickedness" means "sexual embrace" with Satanically inspired fleshly commitment, permanently, unless Christ interviews and redeems the sinner. That's why He says in Eph.2:12 what He says. So then, since the Holy Spirit is one and the same Living God as is the Father and the Son, it is correct to conclude the person so blaspheming by words out of his mouth is guilty of all sins he's ever committed and is ripe for Judgment Day being he is non-elect, as in Eph.2:12, speaking out of what fills his heart, See Mt.12:35. Because v.30 in this context of the so called Unpardonable Sin, Christ explains it all..."He who is not with Me is against Me." This is why the dreaded chapter so well avoided by fake preachers preaching to fake Christians is never spoken on. Neither do they ever correctly speak on the Unpardonable Sin because of Isa.8:20 KJV. It must be remembered in order to understand this so called "Unpardonable Sin ( very much incorrectly taught as such by this out of context phrase ) that the Holy Spirit is given to the whole world as *the* Witness of the Gospel, Jn.16:7-14, therefore the Holy Spirit is spoken of as the Person blaspheming is directed against though there is One God indivisible... The Holy Spirit is spoken of by Christ as the Administrator of the Gospel of Jesus Christ so speaking blasphemy against Christ Jesus is aimed directly at him, the Holy Spirit being He convicts us of sin as told us there in Jn.16..
Repent then and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will not be troubled as is the world by wondering if you have committed the Unpardonable Sin, 1Jn.1:7.

Wrong. Unforgiveness is the unpardonable sin, Jesus says it plainly in Matthew 6:14-15

The Holy Spirit is what Causes you to Repent, Forgive, Pray, Worship, and Read the Bible. When you Blaspheme him you don't want to Read the Bible, pray. If an Athiest who is ignorant Rejects christ that's forgivable but The Pharisees knew Jesus was the Son of God and saw him cast out Demons and they still choose to Reject him. They Didn't just Reject Christ but the works of The Holy Spirit and The Grace of God thus why it's unpardonable.

@christianuniversalist Matthew 12 31-32 says that any sin will be forgiven except The Blasphemy of The Holy Spirit. Mathew 6:14-15 is saying to be like Christ, God Forgave you're sins and who are you to not Forgive others.

If we are non-believers and we committed "Suicide," then we have a chance to be forgiven by God thru IGNORANCE, but not if we are believers... In general, anything we have not confessed and repented to God before we die, most likely we will not be Forgiven... but it is still in the hands of God to judge and condemn us because the Bible said, that God would be more MERCIFUL in Soddom and Gomorrah than those Generation where the Gospel of God (Good News) was already Preached... People of Soddom and Gomorrah are non-believers and they died not able to confess their sins, and God will be more merciful to them because the Gospel never reached their ears (not heard the Gospel/Scriptures)...
The Unforgivable Sin to the Holy Spirit is different... The Bible said, the Blasphemy to God, and Son (Christ) can be forgiven or have a chance to be forgiven... but the Blasphemy to the Holy Spirit has NO chance to be forgiven... (no mercy from God)... unforgiven like the Fallen Angels (Satan and his angels)...

no. if you die denying Jesus, God, or the Holy sprit , you will not be forgiven. You will go to hell.

that’s the unforgivable sin , if you die , not believing Jesus , that means you never repent to Him. that means you never announced him as your Lord and savior. God is a merciful God , that’s why it’s important to repent while we are still FLESH ! He can forgive everything if we are believers , but those who don’t believe, don’t care to repent , & those who don’t & die in that, will be sent to hell. there will be no account needed for those who died in that sin. i don’t know about those who never heard of him tho.

@@realtrimm FYI, THE UNFORGIVABLE/UNPARDONABLE SINS are sins committed by Humans and Angels to the "HOLY SPIRIT" that even if they are still alive, there is no hope for forgiveness or mercy even if they repented night and day... It is like "DEAD MAN WALKING."... Christ said, "Let the DEAD, bury their own DEAD... Therefore, even if you are still ALIVE, you are already considered DEAD by God...For example, in the past, at present, and in the future, all Human Anti-Christs, False Prophets, False Teachers/Pastors, Sorcerers, Witchcrafters, Practicing Black Magic, People who communicate with the Dead (Necromancer), and all Fallen Angels (Satan and Demons), etc...
Magic Tricks are deceptions to the Human Eyes and not to the Holy Spirit, but Magic Tricks must only be used for ENTERTAINMENT, not to be used for robbing other people's wealth, or for vengeance like in the Movie, the "4 Horse Men," and anything that will destroy or harm their neighbors and foes alike... or it becomes a SIN against God.
Facts and Truth, biblically speaking... Amen.

The unforgivable sin is not to reject Jesus or God but to reject the works and ministry of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is what causes us to Repent And Convict us of our sins. IF you Rejct him Stubbornly, there is no forgiveness because you don't want to do anything with God.
