It is such a relief to know that this unpardonable sin applies to people who have not been saved in the first place and they choose to remain that way as complete enemies to God. They've never been washed by the shed blood of the cross. They live on a different spectrum of the Holy Spirit. They may have accused Jesus of having the spirit of Satan in him but ironically they are the ones who had the spirit of Satan in them. Even though in the book of John the chief priests tried the justify themselves by saying that they are Moses's disciples. As I said unbelievers who blaspheme the Holy Spirit live on a different spectrum of the Holy Spirit. They have not been regenerated and sealed in the first place. They are not marked as God's children. They are enemies of God because they have wickedly chosen not to take the procedure to become God's children which is believing in Jesus. That's why I love how Andrew Farley gives that analogy of "Well let's say you have a disease but then you refuse to let the doctor do the procedure on you. You will then be subject to that disease forever. But if you believe in Jesus then you have embraced the work of the Holy Spirit, you have not blasphemed it"? And I love how Joseph Prince points out that not one time does Paul the apostle warn believers not to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Another reason why I think that's really remarkable is because Paul over and over again talks about wonderful and beautiful positive affirmations that involves the holy Spirit. Because to believers the holy spirit is the spirit of grace. The holy spirit is not waiting for believers to mess up. Jesus himself said that the holy spirit is our comforter and he will dwell in us for eternity. But yeah unbelievers who commit it are far from concern. When believers are worried and horrified that they have committed it and Satan is bombarding them with lies, well I think of that scene in A Little Princess when Sarah is being accused of stealing but then she's in the corner weeping because of her innocence. Anyway that kind of character trait is very anti what it is when a person commits the unpardonable sin. A believer has been adopted as sons and daughters through Jesus. Praise Jesus for his finished work of the cross

Finally, we have a preacher who knows what they are talking about. So many people get the interpretation of this so messed up they do more to hurt people than to help them. In all my years of research, this pastor sums it up beautifully.

@@richardrichardhaleysguitar8810 I have researched this issue for well over 20 years. Here is what I have found in conclusion. When it was committed at the time, Jesus Christ was on earth performing miracles. The scribes of that time saw irrefutable and evidence that Jesus Christ was the anointed son of God filled with the Holy Spirit. And with that knowledge, knowing who and what they were dealing with describes purposively, disclaimed or spoke against the powered that Jesus was utilizing and attributed to an unholy source. In the context of what is shown in the Bible, the conditions of that sin cannot do not exist today. Was never mentioned again after the ministry of Jesus Christ. So we can conclusively, understand that this was connected to the fact that Christ was doing miracles on earth and not someone else. Therefore, the conditions don’t exist. If somebody was to speak against the third man of the Trinity today, they would do it in a spirit of ignorance because they did not have the same evidence that the pharisees did. Jesus said that this sin will not be forgiven in this age or the age to come. This was the first earthly ministry of Christ, the age to come is when Jesus returns to earth. Therefore accusing Jesus of using an unholy power as he is doing miracles, and saying it to his face would be the unforgivable sin, and those conditions do not exist today.

As one clergy to another, that was sound teaching, very sound. Those in bondage for believing they are forever not forgiven need to watch this.

If you’re worried about it, you haven’t done it. The person who commits this sin is so opposed to Jesus that they will not worry whether they’ve sinned against him or the Spirit.

@SantiagoJIL hi there, we can never rely on our feelings because they are unstable or on our thoughts, because human thoughts are not like God's thoughts, the Bible tells us that. What you should be relying on and trusting in is the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. Jesus reassures us all the time, He will fight for you and He will lead you to safe places, you need to trust in his promises and believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, not in your own abilities. He is a good Father, he will never fail you even when you feel or think you are a failure, focus on Him not on you.

God's will is for everyone to repent. Humble yourself before God and repent for what you have done. Perhaps God will be gracious and understand your infirmity, if that is what contributed in any way to you doing those things.

Not perhaps, God will heal you, for it is ALWAYS God's will to heal. When you pray, believe that you HAVE received the answer to your prayers then you will receive Mark 11:24
