Question. I did the same thing, but the light came on after I connect the wires back under the seat. How did you clear the light? OR the light never come on for you? IDK. I was asked to take it to the dealership to have it cleared out. I need help on that. Thanks

Where did you order your new seat from and what made you go with that company if it was an after market?
Ur welcome! I purchased the seat from a local dismantler. So it’s an original seat not aftermarket. Or you can always call your local Mercedes dealer to get a brand new seat for your benz

Yes its compatible.
Where’s the battery
Either underneath the hood under the cabin air filter plastic box, or in the trunk depending on which year model e class you have
