@@TheMacMasterAs a former chef we used to say ‘you can’t drink compliments’. An establishments reputation is built by the staff. The cleanliness of the place, quality of the food the ambience and how welcoming front of house are. The Chef in this place clearly cares about his job and that shows in how good your breakfast looked and was presented.
The trick is to watch these food reviews. When you are eating yourself. Maybe at tea time for the UK or dinner time for the USA. 🏴
That's got to be one of the best breakfasts I've seen you eat. A right gut buster.

Looked great that Lee, it's a 10 from me for the look and value. I had a breakfast this big once and I tell you, I didn't eat until the same time the next day! You can really keep going after one of these!

I've learned from a hotelier that just because it says Heinz or HP on the bottle, it doesn't always mean that's what's IN the bottle !
If it isn't, then that is false advertising and the establishment should be reported to Trading Standards.
@@jonathanroberts1696 Maybe they could also look at the vast majority of fish and chip shops using vinegar, which isn't actually vinegar. It's more often than not, " non-brewed condiment, which is a mixture of water, ethanoic acid and various food colourings and flavourings chosen to make the mixture look and taste like real vinegar". Ok it's not a brand name, but it's not what they're advertising it as. Heinz are fully aware it happens according to Google, and obviously aren't overly impressed, because it hurts their profits. On a personal note, I'd only ever use Heinz ketchup if there were no other choice, I find it far too sweet compared to cheaper brands like Aldi. Most people seem to be brand snobs and in a blind test would often prefer the cheaper option. I know of several individuals that have children that will only eat "Heinz", not knowing that it's actually Aldi ketchup inside.

Toby carvery does all you can eat buffet breakfast for £6.00. I go once a week. It's lovely. Always fill my plate for the 3 or 4 times I leave the table each visit. You should try it.

The difference between one chain pub/restaurant and another is almost always down to the staff, manager, chef and servers

at the time of you posting this video £12.58 is $15.99c and there is no way you would get that in the US for that price

100% right about the US. This would be $35 + $10 for drinks with a 20% added for tip. A total RIP OFF! Also the quality wouldn't be good as well. The cost of everything in Massachusetts now makes you have second thoughts about eating out because it's a waste of money and you come away thinking what did I pay for? Going to be moving back to Somerset early next year and can't wait😃 As well as a few other things like healthcare costs, Trump and their obsession with guns makes you think enough of this place.

What a cracking breakfast. 🍳 would have loved a fried slice with it and the option of bubble and squeak instead of the hash browns. Saying that the price and the presentation was spot on 👍

We have a cafe in Holsworthy called loop loos and we now can get a tea cake for £5.50 which mad as hell but that seems like great value love xxxx

Our nearest Hungry Horse was
taken over a few years ago! Used to take the kids there at the end of our holidays as a final treat on the way home! It was always cheap & cheerful but a lot better than spoons!

Nice sized breakfast mate. Could have done with one of those this morning, haha.
Had a spa night away in the Parkmore Spa and Country Club in Eaglescliffe for £129.
That was dinner,bed and breakfast and use of the spa from 2pm until closure at 9pm then again the next morning from 7am until we had to leave for the train at 2pm the next day.
Cant fault it, my full english took me a while to get through and they swapped the dreaded Hash brown for an extra sausage.
The Sunday Roast was 3 course so for a total of £65 per person was a very good deal
When I was over in the UK in 2021 and Ireland in 2022, had full English breakfast and full Irish breakfast and they had hash browns. Don't remember them asking if I wanted fried bread.

That looks delicious Lee. Toast always with a "breakfast" I usually put a few beans on top then other bits and bobs as I go along. 9/10 (only deduction was the hot drink at the start which would be cold by the time you finish main

Looks decent indeed, short of a couple of grilled/fried tomatoe halves but otherwise great. I like hash browns too, but would equally welcome fried bread. Decent price too. I have eaten at Hungry Horse's before and always found it decent if not gourmet and value for money.
For the cost that's a bargain. Here next to NYC in NJ that meal alone would be 15.00 dollars never mind the juice and coffee. Looks great too.
The food looked good and the price is great. Negatives for me: I hate photographs of the food, which would solve my second point, which is how shabby the menus were. Battered on the edges, blistered and peeling. If places just use a standard single colour printed menu, which can still be quite fancy, it can be exchanges for pennies. Some of the best places I know have fancy leather menus, but the inner pages just printed on a colour laser printer.
Whilst Australia is obviously more expensive for imports, or food with imported ingredients, statistically, the UK is around 4.22% more expensive than the USA for eating out. Some foods in the USA are more expensive, but eating a steak or burger in the USA with local ingredients is much cheaper. Also, the UK is not cheaper than most of the World. The UK is much, much more expensive to eat and drink out than most EU countries (some exceptions exist.) A pint of beer on average in the UK? GBP 5.90 whilst in Germany around EUR 3.90, over 2 pounds cheaper than in the UK per pint. Same goes for food.
Looked good value for a chain pub, I always try and find independents. A pleasure to follow you and hope to bump into you one day!
You also have the benefit of making a large Sandwich with an egg or two ,beans, a rasher , a hash B, & a sausage ,you can take away, and enjoy at mid-Day 😂😂❤❤❤

When they first opened when and owned by The Magic Pub Company, the did an All Day Breakfast £5.95 which came on an 18" oval platter.
It doesn't look very busy in there.

That is definitely a mega breakfast and reasonably priced. I would give it a 10/10 for this Hungery Horse pub as other pubs in the hungry horse pub chains might not do this breakfast to the same standard.
