- A&Z #1078 - Professional eater Randy Santel versus Pip's Undefeated Full Irish Breakfast Roll Sandwich Challenge hosted by Pip's Café and Deli in Crumlin, Co. Dublin, Ireland! After finishing up our 6-state Midwest USA Tour, @KatinaEatsKilos and I flew across the pond to Dublin, Ireland so we could spend 40+ days exploring most of the major cities and areas around Ireland. During our travels, I attempted 16 Irish man vs food restaurant challenges. For eating challenge event #1, we headed to Pip's Café and Deli in Crumlin, Co. Dublin, Ireland so we could each attempt Pip's undefeated monster-sized full Irish breakfast roll sandwich challenge which had remained unbeaten after 7 valiant attempts. The scary thing was that nobody had managed to eat even half of the gigantic breakfast sandwich. I had just 45 minutes to finish a 22" long Parisian bread baguette lathered with Irish butter and filled with 10 sausages split into halves, 10 rashers of Irish bacon, 6 fried eggs, 6 jumbo black pudding, 6 jumbo white pudding, and 6 thick hash browns, all topped with a large portion of baked beans. The breakfast roll came with a large box of chips and I was trying to become the first person ever to win my €50 meal free and a spot on Pip's Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to Paul and Rachel the owners and everyone with Pip's Café and Deli Crumlin for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Pip's Cafe's Monster Irish Breakfast Roll Sandwich Challenge in Crumlin, Co. Dublin, Ireland (€50):
- Pip's Café and Deli has been serving the Crumlin area of Co. Dublin, Ireland for three years now!!
- Pip's hosts a monster-sized Full Irish Breakfast Roll Sandwich Challenge which remained unbeaten after more than 7 valiant attempts. Nobody had managed to even eat half of it!!
- There is a 22" long Parisian bread baguette that is lathered with delicious Irish butter.
- It is filled with 10 sausages split into halves, 10 rashers of Irish bacon, 6 fried eggs, 6 jumbo black pudding, 6 jumbo white pudding, and 6 thick hash browns, all topped with a large portion of baked beans.
- There is a 45 minute time limit to finish the entire sandwich plus a large box of Pip's fries.
- Winners earn the €50 breakfast roll free plus a spot on Pip's Wall of Fame inside the restaurant.

Randy isn't super fast IMHO. HE moves a lot and I think it looks like he is eating faster... Katrina like leah doens't seem to have a need to chew anything. LOL I dont chew either. Bite 2x and swallow. I just dont have the capacity like these guys.

As an Irishman I love that you finished it. A breakfast roll in Ireland was meant for the working class we had long journeys for work so the miss'es always prepared a breakfast roll for us to give for them long journeys. It was a give and take back she provided the food, the men provided the money. Nowadays things are different both work and supply our family. The breakfast roll is now more of a comfort food we all go to when we have a night out. One of the many prides of Ireland.
Thats bollox, it was traditionally bought during the celtic tiger in greasy petrol station deli's by batchelor construction workers that used to chat up the greasy girl behind the counter before they all emmigrated ;)

This guy can eat so much. Props to him, and hopefully his health doesn’t deteriorate as he gets older :/
He knows what he's doing. He is truly a professional at this. He knows how to create space in his stomach ahead of challenges and he also is an avid weightlifter and goes to the gym a lot. Which honestly all professional eaters do that, or they should anyway. He does this more prolifically than others and I can hardly believe how frequently he does it but that's the only thing, compared to like Matt Stonie who only does this around once or twice a week at most. And Matt Stonie is skinny as a twig. Incredibly. He also spends a lot of time in the gym which that, on top of his natural metabolism, really help him in doing all of this.
I've been to Scotland 6 times since 2018, love black pudding, so good and yes the streaky bacon over there is definitely not like bacon in the US but still very good 😋 yes I know they are in Ireland right now
You yanks don't have bacon. You have the fat strips we and the rest of the world throw away. Our bacon in England is PROPER bacon. Once again another showing of yanks butchering the english language and its definitions we gave them for free
