I also love stories where an older person is telling their life story 😊

I'm going to keep a list that has that theme in books because I really enjoy it! And if you come across any that you'd recommend, let me know! I'm always on the lookout.

AWWW LOVE LITTLE WOMEN! Rebecca and The Martian are great too!
I really need to read Where the Lost Wander soon. It sounds fantastic.
    PS. Your hair looks beautiful!

Thanks so much Tia! Little Women is just the most heartwarming thing ever, and I'm so thankful I read it. Where the Lost Wander is AMAZING. You won't be disappointed!

The only book I have in common with you on this list, is The Nature of Fragile Things. I enjoyed it very much! Glad you did as well! I do have As Bright As Heaven on my TBR by the same author. Looking forward to it!

I read a lot of those books you presented : 7 of them, not all in 2021 but liked them, I would like to read Where the Lost Wander which is on my tbr goodreads list.

I love watching your videos as I feel we have very similar taste in books! I’ve read 5 of your top 10 and have another 4 on my tbr!!!
I have to leave out the plane hijack book as I’ll be too nervous to travel again! 😳🤭😂😂😂

I love hearing that! I hope you love the other reads as well. And totally understand about the thriller -- they aren't for everyone!

Loved your top reads. I’m puzzled by your dislike of Project Hail Mary. I wonder if it was too soon after you read The Martian? I know it’s different. I did not read The Martian but loved the movie. Love your hair.

Thank you! I'm honestly puzzled by it too. Maybe it's one I need to try again with... I just didn't care for the alien first contact story. There were no aliens in The Martian and it felt realistic, whereas Project Hail Mary I couldn't buy into the state of world from the get go.

Hi!! I really want to read The Kite Runner. I've seen so many people talk about the orphan train, gotta get it.

Both were brilliant reads! Some tough subject matter, but very redemptive stories.

I haven’t read all the books on your list but the ones I have read, I absolutely agree! Miracle Creek is one of my all time favorites, Where the Lost Wander was so good. I am currently reading The Nature of Fragile Things and am totally drawn in.

Where the Lost Wander was my number 1 favorite read of 2021. I think it will be an all time favorite. Rebecca is definitely an all time favorite read of the last 10 years. I love gothic suspense and this book was fantastic.

You need to read it, it was incredible! And I can totally see why Rebecca wouldn’t work for everyone. I think I was in the right state of mind and also have not read many classics and nothing gothic before so I was so intrigued the whole time.
