I’m 67 and lost my husband 3 years ago I’m really struggling to find joy again, I haven’t had make up on since I lost my husband. I'm 45 and rarely wear makeup. I didn't know I could find someone kind genuine and sweet. Watching your videos make me want to fix myself up again. I really have no personal style. But I love yours. Couldn’t find the listing of products used, but I am not very techy. Have been sick with various problems since Covid started, thankfully no Covid! I hadn’t looked in a mirror nor attempted to wear makeup til couple months ago and was shocked at how much I had aged! Not my imagination either! My sister, who has always been honest with me, agreed! I went through my makeup & everything was dried up, so off I go! To my sorrow, had basically forgot what to buy and how to apply so am learning all over again! Think this lady is going to be my Tudor! All the other channels are hosted by people that only show the “younger” makeup!

I’ve been having a hard time with turning 40 this year and all the visible changes that come with that. Watching her GRWM video and hearing her say that she’s so lucky to have the OPPORTUNITY to get old has really been eye opening! I’ve been so caught up in the negative aspects of aging that I never stopped to think about it that way but she’s so right! Tomorrow is never promised much less another year...what a blessing it is to be able to grow older with the people you love and be able to experience another year of life! I don’t think I’ll ever look at aging as a negative thing again nor take it for granted. Thank you for your amazing video! You’ve truly changed my outlook!💗

@@jaspermatty That not always have to be the case, it's important to take care of yourself. I am surrounded with people over 40 even in their 50's and 60's and their bodies and faces are stunning, most of them didn't even age a bit! Good food, no sugar, move your body, reduce stress, happy thoughts, do things that makes you happy. We grow older, no doubt about it, but your actions can really influence the way you grow older, wiser and more beautiful. The older the more beautiful is my opinion personally. I wish you lots of fun experiencing the adventures of you 40's! So beautiful how this lady inspired your way of looking at it!! I always remind myself that I (41 myself) am in great company the ladies in my life above 40 are Amazing (a lot of them are ageless in their appearance and behavior, because of that people often believe them to be half their age). That company also include the 40+ ladies like Shakira, Gabrielle Union, Sophia Vergara. Even though some wrinkles can make you look tired, others can give your face character and make you even more beautiful. Keep taking care of yourself and loving yourself so you radiate love, confidence and beauty at any age. You are like 🍷😉
Don't fight the age. Waste of time. Roll with it. Be glad you are still here. I have lost so many friends and family at 70. Started early, my best friend 29 and 4 year old daughter killed by drunk driver. I vowed to them to live the best life I can for them and myself. THANK YOU for your post. You are so right on and I needed to hear that. I need an attitude adjustment when it comes to my physical appearance. I've been working on inner wisdom, confidence, healing, self-love rather than beating myself up, autonomy, grace, forgiveness to others and myself, kindness to myself, and other things I have never afforded myself the luxury or the time for developing. I have always given these things to others, but then not to myself. And yet, I seem to gloss over this and not really "count" it every time I look in the mirror. Never mind that it's taken me a decade or more of work, time, patience and healing. When I look in the mirror, I see the wrinkles, hooded eyes and the other subtle signs of aging and I often don't wear makeup. I know I've given up at times. I need to check myself. Your comment helped me do this! I am NOT simply who I see in the mirror. But even that part of me looking back, is a beautiful soul, beautiful person, wrinkles, age spots and all. I love my car, not "even though" it has a few dents in it, but "still with the dents" just as much. I love my antique furniture with it's fading and blemishes. Our soul is reflected in our words, deeds, intentions and actions. I have to stop using "perfect" and "youthful" as the gauge. Rather, it's character, essence and yes, also the warrior badges that my body carries with me into our future. I would never go back to my youth. I've gained so much for my inner character of who I am and feel blessed for it. Looking in the mirror is such a small aspect of who I am and it can never define me as a whole. I am a young 65. Thank you for taking the time to do all the "girlie " things we did when we were younger. Hair, makeup, skin care, jewelry, clothes. It is too easy to think "what's the use"? I love your enthusiasm and attitude.

When women are in their mature years (over 50) they should act sensibly because if they try to masquerade themselves as being young again they appear desperate and cheap. Don't forget, you might be able to fool people into thinking you are 10 or 20 years younger but all a person needs to know is your date of birth and the cat's out of the bag.

Then I went hysterical when you started to contemplate the possibility of ordering another one to place it behind your head to give your neck a lift. That's so much in line with my own thinking. @@Alantra.deJour perhaps I am misunderstanding you Elite Petite, but it sounds to me like normal 4 year old behaviour; they don't really overthink things and aren't capable of actual critique of anything - they pretty much just verbalise in real time their passing observations. It's lovely to hear that a young child perceived the positives and expressed it rather than the opposite. Anyone who has been around kids long enough to see them grow and develop their personality will have noted how easy it is for kids to become negative in these formative years, how common it is and how disheartening it is to see a child develop a default negative mindset. I am glad this 4 year old saw the pretty in however few minutes of this video (I'm making an educated guess that it was a few minute, max, because I doubt any child would manage to sit still for a 32 minute RUclips video that isn't a favourite cartoon 😂)

You are so right ! I think she is a pretty lady also without all that war paint on her face that is, and what's with that long elastic contraption with alligator clips ?! Looks painful to me.
@@morningdove7886 Without the 'war paint' she looked tired and drab, although you could see she had beautiful features. The red eye bags really stood out, and the skin was kinda sallow. With a little care & attention, this lady became radiant. We can all do that for ourselves, following her example. I DK if the skin products she used were expensive or not, but there's nothing to stop us using the products in our own price ranges. I, for one, shy away from expensive face products as l find good value in some supermarket brands. The end result is usually the same as l feel that skin beauty depends more on the amount of water you drink and maintaining a balanced diet rich in fruit & veg, plus getting the right amount of sleep. My hat comes off to this lady and l will be following some of her tips!!

Drink lemon garlic tea applying moisturizer is enough w/ blush on , its so expensive to buy all those cosmetic 💄 🙃 the eye bags and the eye brow if its pull out ur face is lifted but its expensive 😔am talking about the cosmetics procedures ( surgery ) is expensive.

I had all kind of eyebrows pencils blush on from remmels , so I just used moisturizer elastin collagen seems it help my skin
I tried expensive brand name it cost me fortune had to give it away cuz am allergic I saw girls using make up they’re looking wonderful that’s the reasons , No point me buying or it’s just waste of money if it doesn’t work on my skin ..,,
@Ang I take Claritin yes have been to specialist allergist they took skin test , see good I didn’t take injection , coz they’re diagnosed me I have asthma? I went to my cardiologist, he told me I don’t have asthma and didn’t have those injection , my insurance paid over k$ from my medical insurance, I believe on doctors not anymore they are trial n error , I suffered from seasonal allergies summer spring when there’s pollen, so I depend on herbal no side effects I had sinus saline solution those RX have so much side effect being healthcare worker I understand the anatomy and physiology, those RX are trial and error I know cuz it had ruin my health,
Mostly I used moisturizer blush on not those cosmetic I tried it
My skin have done reaction so I am better off not used those make up ...waste of my bread and butter cuz you can’t return them lots of cosmetic in the market making you believe it will transform you , anyway natural is better a smear of lipstick blush on is good enough for me ..,believe me men don’t like woman w/ make

I will be 60 this coming year and have basically given up on makeup other than a little mascara a tiny bit of blush, mind you I used to be a makeup queen with smokey eyes and lip color when I was young. I just want to thank you for your videos, I look constantly for makeup tips for an aging woman esp under the eyes....and I get either people who obviously have had "work" done or botoxed to the max or formal super models who don't really have bags/dark circles. It was so frustrating. Your makeup is beautiful, natural looking, you look fabulous. Exactly what I've looked for, hopefully it works for me. On top of all that your sweet demeaner and positive outlook is inspiring esp for someone like me who is old and alone, no husband, no children and not much family. You're a joy and inspiration. Loved your words! I automatically thought of my mother when I saw this vid. I was actually looking up face tape for myself and her thumbnail definitely did its job for my curiosity! Come to find out she's a wonderful person and is perfect for my mother who is beginning to feel unmotivated to wear makeup and feel her best.

“I’m so lucky to have the opportunity to get old. I’m so fortunate to have my health.” This is a perspective that I wish I heard more of! As a young person all I have ever heard about aging is negativity around getting old.
Not everyone is as fortunate to have such good health as they age. Some are. Some aren't. My grandmother was diagnosed with cancer at 98. But my mom was at 70. My dad also at 70. And I have several friends in their late 40's. Perspective changes depending on people's circumstances. She has a great perspective, as should all healthy people to be grateful.

When I was in my early 20s, I remembered thinking, “When someone is 40, why would she bother doing her hair? She’s almost dead!” 😣 I’m 53 now and I care more about taking care of my skin, hair and health more than I ever did before. I love what you said about being grateful to have the chance to grow old. I have known a few people in my life who died very young and appreciate every day I am alive. I remember when I was 16 and my best friend had a 26 year old brother, we were both so shocked he was still going out, going to bars, clubs etc., we thought he was so old... :)) We actually thought he was middle aged and he should have stayed at home. Young and fool, both of us!

Firstly, you are absolutely radiating beauty! My Mum has thyroid issues that gave her very protruding eye bags, not dark, bags that vary in size depending how she is (health.) I've always thought I see past these and when someone is truly beautiful, beautiful eyes stand out regardless. You hit your eyebag really well with concealer and I am delighted to hear so many drugstore (we say chemist) in UK or pharmacy products used by you. I'm 21 mins in and can't wait to see your finished look. I love my Mum so much so to me there's nothing more beautiful than a woman's skin care and getting ready routine. I grew up watching Mum. My little brother passed in his sleep just weeks after his 50th birthday. He will never be old. Im only 57, but i can see the age in my face advancing daily! I was obese for 40+ years with my weight being waist up, very fat faced. I lost 170lbs, 100 after 50 and menopause! At the time I was living on $900 a month! I didn't have extra money for anything so I splurged and spent $10 on a big bottle of rose hip seed oil and put it on my face every single night for 3 years while I was losing. I was shocked and delighted at how little my face sagged! The rest of me looks like a melted candle, but at least my face looks less like that period however, my face did collapse and I have a very flat profile because I need cheeks! I want to put nearly $5000 worth of filler but permanent cheek implants are less than half of that!

so true many of us boomers have outlived parents who did not recieve as much info on how to stay well and eat and live well. they made thru WW11 and had many heart aches and struggles most never talked about., we all miss them dearly. and have been granted a longer life then them.
