There is a type of clinic in Vietnam where the ask you to swallow a salt water solution which induces vomiting. They give you a paper bowl then when you have vomited into the bowl they proceed to do 'vomit analysis ' where they analyze what is in the bowl and give you a printout of your nutrient levels and hydration information. This cost 12$ US and is very popular there.

Honestly the Wet and Wild foundation looked better, you only applied once, the other one you kept applying more to cover up. Money wise or coverage I would definitely choose Wet and Wild. Thank you for sharing!👍

I guessed wrong too! I thought Wet was more dewy so assumed it was Lancombe...let's use our money wisely...and think of how much we can donate to animal shelters in lieu of our vanity 😱

Love that idea! I could never tell the difference between the high priced stuff and the drugstore cosmetics. As we age, kindness replaces physical beauty, because kindness is TRUE BEAUTY. What would you rather have, a fancy makeup that does not really make a difference, or extra money to help animals live a better life? We should start a movement!!

I have been very diwn because my husband of 54 years died in June 2021, you have given me new inspiration in getting myself as a woman back to normal. I can see no difference. It is interesting that the wet and wild actually gave you better coverage on your spots. You convinced me. This is what I have been looking for. Why waste money? If I don't need it for myself, I can always donate it to charity. Thank you!
I couldn’t tell the difference, but my friends, who wear foundation for many hours each day, say the drugstore makeup just doesn’t hold up like some of the high end brands. For me, I can use the cheaper makeup because I don’t need to wear makeup for 10-12 hours. Thanks for a lovely video!
I am finding more good products at drugstore. My favorite foundation is the L'oreal Perfect Serum Foundation. The coverage is very good, I use the Hard Candy Gripping Primer under it and it wears all day. It also has an SPF of 50. I just converted my Lancome wearing cousin to it. She loves the feel of the makeup on her face. She is 76 and I will be 67.

I wear this Lancôme foundation, I have for years. My problem is when I try other inexpensive foundations, I end up having a reaction, burning rash or watery eyes. But in saying this, I am more than willing to spend a little money and give the Wet and Wild Photofocus a try. Thanks Patti!

I mix the wet and wild dewy with the original photofocus and it's AMAZING! MY GRANDMA uses both mixed and she don't use ANYTHING else
I like the Wet and Wild, own it and have used Chanel. Lancome, etc...I'm 81 yrs old and have tried them ALL. Wet and Wild just as good. As out other drug store foundations. Physicians Formula also very nice.

The big dilemma is that you would look adorably stunning in any foundation no matter the price point ! However I do think that we can easily be sucked in to the notion that more expensive means better in terms of result . You have shown us that this is not the case . 😂🤣😂

Thanks for putting together this comparison video, Patty. I thought the W&W side was actually the Lancone product because it looked smoother and dewier! I love both sides because NEITHER side is filled with plastics or Botox or whatever. I love that you are so real....you're so pretty Patty!! I'm so glad that when I decided to check out RUclips that you were almost the first person I saw. Thankful for that. I'll be 60 in May and some days......feeling less than happy over the jowls, etc....you let me know that at even in my 70's I can still "rock the makeup"....Hugs.

Both foundation colors use are pretty much the same. However, the Wet "n" Wild side looks dewy, fresh and moist. Your skin does not have a powdered look with it. Even if price was no object , I would still choose the Wet "n" Wild over the Lancome.
I just found your channel and am so happy to have done so. I am 73 this past June and have been feeling pretty bad about myself for about 3 years. I did great until the big 7-0 hit me. Then all the skin, sags, spots, pores did a super change on me. I gave up on most all of my makeups because nothing "helped" You have inspired me so much Thank you for sharing your feelings, thoughts and your products. You are a blessing to me. Big ol'Hugs!

Wow, I loved this video! I saw a difference and thought it was the expensive stuff on the left - boy was I wrong! Makes me feel good about always getting my makeup at Walmart. Also, thanks for the mascara tips! EVERYTHING is going on with my eyes: wrinkles, sagging upper lid, puffy, and I've always, always had dark circles. Thanks for this fun video! :)
I think high end prices are a sales gimmick. Some folks are in the high price mindset, but I am not interested in keeping up with the Jones'.
I am not a person who wears a lot of makeup every day because I am retired - I also know that expensive brands spend megabucks on advertising and they pass the cost onto the consumer - They also spend more on the container than on the lipstick - I taught Advertising Design and I can tell you it is all hype - That is not to say that some people may have a better outcome with an expensive product but they are all basically the same - Thank you, Pattie, you are a doll and so is Margaret - We older girls have to stick together

After seeing this video, and when you applied these two makeups to your face I couldn't tell the difference, they both looked really good and made your skin look really moist, I went out and bought some wet and wild dewy Foundation, and I just love it, thank you Patty for doing these comparisons for us God bless you!

Great video Patti, enjoyed it very much. Your make up tips have helped me tremendously! I am 58 years old and it seems like this year everything has changed and none of my old make up techniques worked for me. I love the tip you gave about using the eyeliner under the lid, what a difference. I have also started using the skin oils and serums instead of high priced creams which were not working for me any more. They started irritating my skin and causing my cheeks to become red. Now with using the facial oil the makeup just glides on and I have the finished look I always hoped for. When I saw older women in the past with such flawless skin I thought it had to be air brushed make up. But now that I see how you do your makeup, it has given me that same look and it is a real step up. My husband and friends have all stopped and noticed how much better my skin is looking. I also changed my application method and bought some nice brushes instead of using sponges and what a big difference that has made too. I looked at some of the colors you were using and bought some new more matted eyeshadow and have started paying attention to doing more contouring. I am disabled and sometimes putting on make up can be a challenge, but with all these new tricks it has made make up fun again, and I feel so much brighter when I look in the mirror. Somedays I do not feel well enough to do a "full make up day" but I do now use some make up everyday. I feel it has given me a great deal of my sparkle back. Have a wonderful day ahead!
I honestly thought the Wet and Wild side was slightly more dewy. My daughter was a Lancôme store manager for years so I’ve been spoiled especially with skin care!
I’m now disabled on a fixed income so saving where I can is important. My thought is to save on the foundation and use the savings on other items that wouldn’t have been affordable if I had splurged on the Lancôme foundation. As usual Patti you look beautiful, watching you had inspired me to start putting effort into myself. I just turned 60.
Patti!! I do the same with you: saving the high end products for special occasions but there are never enough imaginary special occasions to use up the high end products. Every Day is special. An extra good mood everyday makes any makeup looks better. I love wet and wild, it is affordable and it does its job on my face!!--Love from China

Great video! I am 55 and used to spend good money on makeup. Now its coconut oil for moisturizer, neutrogena sun screen, Rimmel foundation, elf blush, LA colors liquid eyeliner, Maybelline Rocket Volum Mascara and Elf lip plumper lip gloss. No one has ever been able to tell the difference! Crazzzyyyyy!

The powder is the Elf under eye setting powder. It is fantastic! A dupe for the $27 Laura Mercer secret under rye brightening powder. It is incredible and I am sad to hear they discontinued it!
You can’t tell the difference.. exact same texture and even color!! I worked for Lancome for 25 years up until covid.... You pronounce it “taunt E-doll”
You look great in this makeup.. I have no problem using less expensive products now-especially since I am not working!! There are so many great things out there and why not spend less on minimal difference?

Patti,I think you are so sweet and pretty.I am 80 yrs. Old love to use make-up. I have been in poor health for 4 to 5 yrs and haven't been very faithful about applying my make-up. I am a retired pedi. nurse (office nurse).My make-up was so necessary to me.I know you whold have never g to work with out you're make-up. So i have used every kind of make-up. I think you did a great demonstration with the make-up. I had 3 young children so at that time in life I couldn't spend that much just on make-up. Thank you so much you did a super job. I decided to try this at home and I'm convinced that just as Seiko makes Lorus watches for a different demographic market, Lancome might be making Wet N Wild for the same reason. They ate truly alike. I'm so glad I found your channel. I'm 74 and other people who compare cosmetics are way too young for me to listen to. I absolutely loved this video!!! Thank you so much, you make me feel less awkward about trying to buy beauty products that fit in my budget. Would you ever consider doing a video exploring your favorite make up brushes? I finally splurged and bought a set...they are horrible and I can't return them and I won't be able to afford any others until at least next year. If you could maybe make a video so others can be better informed, it would be lovely!
Buy Real Techniques and e.l.f. brushes. I love them and I hAD aLL Chanel brushes before I fell for these 2 brands!!! So affordable and so soft!

Both sides look the same! I couldn’t guess at all! I’m guilty of paying big bucks for foundation. I’ve been using Channel because it covers my age spots so well. It is 68.00 dollars but one small pump covers the whole face and age spots flawlessly. My bottle lasts one year because of the tiny amount I use. But your makeup always looks beautiful! I treat myself twice a year on my birthday and Christmas.❤️💕😍

I have tried Lancôme foundation before and it covered well but my eyes blew up , something in it that made my eyes itch which is the first thing that itches on me. I think it's a good coverage it doesn't do me any good however! Yeah I can't justify spending that kind of money on foundation when drugstore stuff is just as good. I like all the colors that you used on your eyes and your cheeks and the way it all blended it looks great. I really think everybody thinks that by spending a lot of money they're going to get a better product and that's not true as you know! Thank you so very much! I've bought the expensive foundations but not the other things as I bought them at the Drug Store. I'm so glad to know I can buy my foundation there as well. I bought Lancôme because the salesperson shamed me into buying it when I just stopped to look years ago. She asked what I was using & I answered truthfully. I was embarrassed to have been so stupid. I've never told that story to anyone. Thanks for helping get past a bad memory. The last time I went to buy the emergency drugstore bottle of foundation I bought 2 so I could use it in between. I found myself doing exactly what you did, use the drugstore one and save the Lancôme for special occasions. I have about a half to a third of a bottle left which I'll use starting today. I came on here for instructions on how & what to use as I just found you a few hours ago. You've taught me more in a couple of viewings than I ever knew. I adore you! Where have you been that I didn't find you? I'm so sorry it took me so long. I'm 66 & I'm so happy to be here. Thank you from my heart. I don't have lots of money but wanted to look nice so this means a lot to me. I haven't bought contouring & such as it all seemed too much from a cosmetic counter as I'd checked. I honestly thank you so much.
