Wow am I ever so happy I was surfing through the net & found you , even though there are tons of videos on hooded eyes, I happened to enjoy watching yours the best cause I thought you were more interesting & were into explaining yourself & detailing all at the same time 🎉🎉 Thank you so much for sharing , you’re ⭐️ quality!!
This has to be the best tutorial I’ve watched for hooded eyelids, you take the time to explain ‘why’ you do certain things and it makes so much sense, I realise I’ve been doing my eyeshadow wrong all this time and rather than disguising my hoods I’ve been making them look worse, thank you so much!
I cannot tell you how grateful I am that you took time to record this video in order to help others - for FREE!I have watched too many videos to name, and this is the best that I have come across! I practiced along with your tutorial, and I have never been so pleased with the final look. It truly is a life changer for me as I have struggled to do my eye makeup for years as I didn't realise that I was doing my makeup wrong for my deep set, hooded and down turned eyes! Thank you so much!! 🌸
This finally explains why my eyelashes make my also turned-down outside ends look better when I wear 3/4 false eyelashes. Someone did my eyes that way once and I loved the look, not to mention that it 'fixed' the downward eye shape. It didn't make sense to me at the time, as it went against my rule of makeup contouring: light out, dark in. I was thinking down-drag, not down-in. I will only wear my eyeliner from mid center to end on top & bottom because if I wear it straight across, it defeats the purpose of the heavy outer corner just a little. This could be because I'm not perfect with eyeliner enough to do a thick & thin, which can really look nice on a cat eye if you can pull it off. I can't, as my eyes have always been hooded, but unlike yours, they're hooded from end to end. I could go thick & thick and no one would notice, ha. Great tutorial, as usual.
I’ve watched so many hooded eye videos, and can never do the eyeliner they suggest because my hood overlaps the corner of my eye. You’re the first person who’s ever suggested going up before you reach the end of your eye. I’m excited to try that! Thanks for the helpful video.
Thank you so much for addressing droopy skin on the outer corner of the eyes!!! No way that eyeliner can look like a straight line when there are so many folds. Your video was perfect!
This video was fantastic! I'm an artist and understand the light and darks concept, but you have created magic with it for hooded eyes! I had no idea I could change it so dramatically with shadowing. Perfect . . . thank you! I loved all the explanation and close-ups as well. Sweetly done, I enjoyed this!
I feel so much more motivated to wear my eyeshadows again! I quit wearing them during this pandemic because I hardly ever leave the house now and when I do I don't bother with the face stuff either because of mask wearing. This tutorial has changed my perspective about my down-turned lids which in my youth didn't present much trouble with making them up. Your technique is "eye-opening" and a very flattering look to say the least. I have to say I am very grateful to have found your RUclips channel! I am going to use these techniques the next time I do my eyes! Thank you so much for showing this!!! 😄👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Same. I quit wearing makeup to the gym. Then I quit wearing it all the time. It wasn't helping my face and skin at all. But this technique will heal my old saggy eyes and take me back 30 years! So it will be worth starting again.
Hooded eye tutorials are my absolute favorite! I'm glad you are making this a longer, more detailed version bc this can be challenging for a mature gal like me. Will practice this tutorial over the weekend! Thanks, Nisha.

Hello Nisha, new sub here. This video caught my “hooded” eye, lol. I’m 52 and like others, have seen far more tutorials on hooded eyes than I care to think about. Being part Asian with hooded eyes I’ve finally learned how to wear eye shadow. Your video has helped tremendously. Although I’m a little late (age 45!) Keep up the great tutorials and ignore the critics. Thank you so much!
Excellent tutorial. I have been making up my eyes and sculpting since I saw an article in Cosmopolitan Mag. in the Spring of 1964 and I've been the envy of many but now my hooded eyes are quite hooded and too much makeup on an "Old Dolly" makes you look like....we all know what too much makeup on an older woman looks like. Anyway, I have been having great trouble with getting the far corner of my eye so that my eye doesn't look dragging and I've been very unhappy about it. Your video gave me the clues, instruction to correct the problem I'm having, thank you.

Thank you so much for your video on hooded and downturned eyes. I have both of these problems and your explanation and visuals really showed how to make the application easy. The result was a fabulous opened eye. ❤️

I Love your hooded eye classes. You're by far the best I've seen. I was a make up artist in the late 80s and clear into the mid 2000s. I wish I knew what you've shown then as I do now, Thanks To You I'm looking far younger. Thank You,Blessed Be My Friend. 💕

Fantastic tutorial!!! I am 72 yrs old and I love watching these tips and techniques. I learned a lot from this video. I LOVE playing with hair and makeup! My daughter just turned 50 yrs old 4 days ago and I have noticed that her makeup technique is making her look 50! I am on a mission now to tutor her (based on your technique) on her eye makeup. I have noticed that she is using shimmery eye shadow on her upper (hooded area) lid and it accentuates the hood. Often people think we are sisters and that rightfully upsets her. The difference is that I use makeup to downplay the aging and she is accentuating her aging. We will be discussing your video and techniques and I am so excited to introduce her to your tips and techniques. Thank you!!! BTW.... you are both beautiful and lovely.:-)

Hi there, how’re you doing today ?
This is fabulous! Thank you so much! I’m watching this at night so will try it tomorrow, but I think this is EXACTLY the help I needed!!! 😍
So far you are the only one that I could totally get the confidence to try it on my own hooded eyes (also from birth). Great tutorial. Thanks.
Thank you so much for your video on hooded and downturned eyes. I have both of these problems and your explanation and visuals really showed how to make the application easy. The result was a fabulous opened eye. ❤️
Glad it was helpful!
This is the first time I’ve watched you & I think you’re wonderful! Love seeing someone more mature as well. (I’m 53, though I know my no filters or edited pic doesn’t look like it . Good genetics lol) But skin is changing & your techniques & input were sooo good! And I love your gentle & genuine demeanor as well. Look forward to seeing many more of your videos. Blessings, Elizabeth ❤️🙏🏼🙌🏼
Absolutely brilliant thank you so much. I loathe my hoods. I can’t wait to practice your tips & tricks. More please x
You have taught me so much about maximizing my eyes with your easy-to-follow techniques. The best tutorial I've seen and wish I'd found you years ago when my eyes weren't as hooded, but your techniques make all the difference! Thank you SO much. Patricia B., NC
You have beautiful 'bright' blue eyes to work with and your makeup technique is flawless. Thank you for taking time to explain the 'why' details, most appreciated 🌹
Am so happy I watched the full tutorial and I've hooded eyes too & these techniques will help me lots. Keep doing long videos as its so explicit for me. Am from Mauritius 🇲🇺
Thank you so much!!
You did this technique beautifully!! I can't wait to use it!! You give me hope again for my eyes:)
Being of a certain age, and having hoods for days...lol, this really helps...I luv eye shadow and like to play around and I think that I do some of it right but you explain it so well...thanx for doing this video 🤟🇨🇦❤
Just found this, I'm late! Thanks VERY much for this tutorial, especially since we're all wearing masks of late in the pandemic time. I love the color of your eyes BTW, and you are quite skillful so I appreciate your masterclass!
I LOVED the fact that she showed BOTH eyes! One done the way that looks good and the other way you shouldn't! (which is the way I've been doing it!) Am definately going to be playing with this...... Thanks!
People suck. It’s so sad. Cheating? On your eye hoods? Those folks need to suck it & move right along. I appreciate all you are willing to teach us! 🙏🏼 thank you!
Thank you for continuing to make videos during this pandemic. I need inspiration to get up and put my make up on every morning. It makes me feel better. So thank you for being my inspiration just love you to death Neisha!❤️❤️❤️
I love this video! You are one of my favs! I enjoy the longer, in depth video, I literally could watch and listen to you all day. You are so calming to me and I always learn something from you!! Thank you for this tutorial!😄
Wow, thank you! xox
You do the best tutorials for hooded eyes.
Nisha does the best tutorials for anything!
OMG! Thank you so much. Totally thrilled to have someone who has eyes like mine to show me how to make them brighter.
You are so welcome!
Extraordinary video. I am typically impatient with long, drawn out explanations, but your tips and instructions were so on point and helpful that I feel like I actually learned something. Thank you!
I love your tutorials. You’re one of the few beauty RUclipsrs that still does straight up tutorials and that’s what I’m here for. I want to learn how to apply my makeup to look my best. Thank you.
You don't have the perfect crease and lid, but you have a beautiful glow that I can only dream about. You radiate.
~Ericka 💛
I know! And I'm so jealous!
This is one of the BEST hooded eye techniques I’ve ever seen. You put things in simple terms while showing what to do and not to do. Very helpful. Thank you 🦊.
I Love your hooded eye classes. You're by far the best I've seen. I was a make up artist in the late 80s and clear into the mid 2000s. I wish I knew what you've shown then as I do now, Thanks To You I'm looking far younger. Thank You,Blessed Be My Friend. 💕
Thank you so much, that is a true complement from a makeup artist xx
I absolutely love watching your videos! You give easy to follow directions on how to apply eye makeup for hooded eyes. I’ve honestly watched this video many times because I haven’t mastered the technique yet. Also, I enjoy hearing your accent. I live in the Deep South of the US so our way of speaking is very different. 😁
Thank you so much!!
My wife has hooded eyes and she lets me do her eye makeup on occasion. This tutorial has given me some wonderful tips to make my wife as glamourous as she can be!!! She will really turn some heads now!!!!!! She loves the attention!!!
You sound like a great husband!
@@denisebrucato9073 Thanks!! I just love having a Hot Wife!!! She makes life so enjoyable and exciting looking sexy in her dresses and high heels!!!
That's friggin cute I need me a husband that wants to do my makeup sometimes lol
@@Kaerikillington I wish I could do her makeup more often because I like women a little on the trashy side!! A little more eyeliner and eye shadow and of course, false eyelashes!!! She has me apply her lashes because she is no good at it!
Awwww, you do her makeup...that's so sweet!
You are such a generous and kind teacher! Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge.
You are so welcome! x
Thank you for this..my eyelids are the same as yours..poor us 😆. Great information. Xx

You are one classy lady. I love your eye makeup style especially for women 60 plus age bracket. Overall love your makeup. Keep inspiring us mature women ❤️
This is how I've been doing my eye makeup for the last 10 or so years. It's a bitch getting older lol. Great tutorial!

Thank you very much for this video. I have hooded eyes with wrinkles above & below the eyes. Just turned 50 & thought there was no hope for me. I appreciate the length of the video, because you are explaining in detail the why & why not. I have subscribed to your channel & look forward to watching more!
Love this video. I've been looking for someone who could help me , it took me awhile but then there you were.. Thank you for the step by step. Everyone else flies through all the videos and you take time and that made me feel like you really care about us . (Ladies of our age) Thank you again and keep them coming Mrs BEAUTIFUL... This will be your name for me. How you don't mine. A new fan Kim Mueller from S.C.
Thank you, I am glad my videos are helpful xx
Thank you for sharing and describing your hooded eyes with such honesty. Your videos are not long they are just perfect. I will keep watching.
