I was there that night, it was the "Metal day" in the Pepsi music festival, 10 days straight(I went All the days) Megadeth was the one who Closed the day, so the audience was "Tired" and even after all the day, the doors open about 2 PM they play around 10 PM,the crowd have this level of energy. The stadium was "Obras sanitarias " in the open field. Obras was one of our most iconic stadiums(the inside field) for a Local band if you get to play in Obras you made it, now you are part of the big bands in Argentina. After that the next step was doing River Plate stadium( the Futbol Stadium) Back to Obras, this place is almost in Middle of the city, in a large street named Av. Libertador. The Pepsi music festival in those years was great, the 2005 was the first at that level of days. The day after megadeth, or the second, Die totem hosen close the day in the "Punk day". It also have a "Reggae day" and The Waillers (the band of Bob Marley)close the Day. Obviously the biggest local Bands have their own Days to close. Like "Los piojos", "Divididos" "Ratones paranoicos " "Bersuit vergarabat" Have you reacted to a Argentinian Band? If you wish I can recommend a few. Hope the information was good enough And yes the Quilmes festival sometimes still appears, one time we have Korn and Ozzy Osbourne the same Night
That concert must have been amazing. I always love it when there's a lot of audience participation it makes for an insane athmosphere :D I really like the minimalism/simplicity of this song, there is so much energy in it.
