For years I thought I had a classy minimalist style, but I really have more of an edgy vibe that I had back in high school. I was sort of pretty girl grunge back in the 90s and I still gravitate toward that style today. I love the blazers, dresses and slacks, but also love the sneakers, band tees, distressed jeans and combat boots. So much fun to experiment!

@@BusbeeStyle Love the pants… I have them in black and wearing them on a flight today with a black tank and my chain belt! I think I’ve had the belt since the 80’s. Never get rid of accessories as they always come back around. I’m almost 75 and tried a cropped midriff top 🤣 I loved it but felt it might be pushing the envelope a bit too much!

I ADORE the volume! That is one I'm already rockin' and loving. I also love the big belts and the chunky gold jewelry. Those are on my must-buy list now. I'll probably also do the split hem. I'm not daring enough to do the ankle strap thing. It's a hard pass for me showing extra skin, but you make it look great! Thanks for another great video Erin!

I love statement necklaces and belts! I have kept them all over the years! A good quality item that doesn't take up room can easily be stored when out of favor, they always do come back. I have an awesome elephant belt that is 50 years old ( ha ha it's adjustable). Also quality scarves!

I’ve already bought a lbd with a cut out in the back. I’ve worn it once to a wedding. Had a little wardrobe issue - wore spanx for extra smoothness around the tummy area - but they wanted to peak out at the cut out. Always something!
I’m also playing with volume. Being pear shape I too like interest at the sleeve cap area that add width to balance the hips.

I can’t believe I’m actually going to try the lace bra top with high rise pants and a jacket. My midriff hasn’t seen sun since the 90’s 😆

My mom passed away last week (95 years young), and I cleaned out what we laughingly called her "junk jewelry". Going through her junk jewelry, lo and behold, my mom had style! I found a number of clever pieces that I am going to incorporate into my wardrobe. It will not only help my style, but give me fond reminders of Mom.

Chunky chains are my fav!
I actually wrapped my pants as a junior in highschool circa 1979, but didn’t use sandal straps. i just bought matching ribbons, leather cord, or shoelaces (usually black or brown depending on the pump color) - wrapped them under the heels, crossed them over the pant in front of the arch and back of the ankle and then tied them wherever the bow looked best. Think Ballet pointe shoe style. No need to buy new shoes, and it looks neater this way, so go for it! It was so cool to see my old trick is now on trend today.

So I HATE IRONING TOO!! I found this product and I absolutely luv it. It releases the wrinkles really well. I spray and shake out the garment, often times while on a hanger. There is a different product that is similar that comes in travel size so I throw it in my liquids bag. It's not as good but it works in a pinch. Both smell very clean and fresh so if you're wearing something multiple times this will not only smooth it out but it will freshen it up as well.

Back in the 70’s i was wrapping the straps/ties of my way too high platforms around the ankles of my wide pants. At the time, i was the only one in the disco doing this. To be real, it went beyond shoe straps/ties. If i was wearing more of an open back shoe, i always found a piece of ribbon. I always thought of it as my harem pants look. It’s strange to see it again. Even though i’m in my early 70’s, &I can’t do.more than 2 1/2”-3” heels, I still try to stay up on fashion, without trying too hard. Thank you Erin, for making this okay.
I enjoyed the assymatrical jean the most, but all I did like. I almost did not watch this video (49 this past March; wanting to be classic). It was confirmed I should not watch this after strapping sandals over your pants, UNTIL I saw how you did it with the similar color of pants and straps. You somehow made it look fun! Thank you. Hi, I emulated your outfit with the tulle skirt and a blazer with gold buttons and the white lace top and a cool belt for my anniversary when my husband took me to the steakhouse at The Phoenician Resort and I got several compliments from male and female strangers. I love your style. I’m trying to lose weight as I gained weight due to the change that I’m going through and I’m a curvy 5’2” so I just have to tailor my style to wear cool clothing with these challenges. Idk if it's already been said in the comments, but a fun way to add the split hem into your current wardrobe could be to add them onto one of your fav pairs of jeans! I have a Levis' obsession and own many pairs of their jeans. And, I'm not a seamstress or a very good sewer. But the split hem is easy, and I've done it to a couple of my skinny jeans.. it works like a charm 💖

Hi our beautiful stylist. You look amazing ..beautiful hair, make up, black blouse. You definitely rock everyone of these tips. I am so glad I did not throw out all of my statement necklaces. I love yours. Because I have hips I like my sleeves to balance out my body shape. I like cut outs on tops. My doctor lets me take a small amount of estrogen. I read a book about how in small doses estrogen will not cause breast cancer. I am sure to get yearly mammograms. This is new thinking by several experts, but it makes such a difference in my comfort level . Thanks Erin. You are the best!💕

Who knew I was on trend! Last week I ordered a lavender maxi dress with cutouts and this plus size gal debated for over week whether I should order it. It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm glad I did after watching your video. I fell in love the moment I saw the dress and hope the cutouts fall in the right spot. I’m tall and with heels I’m easily 6ft. I’m also big. Im a size 14 in US sizes. I wear large jewellery as it’s easy and it doesn’t get lost on me. I don’t wear large sleeves as I end up looking enormous. I do apply your rule which is one tight and one loose piece of clothing. I wear a straight midi skirt with an A line top, a largish necklace and thanks to you I’ve been complimented on what I’ve been wearing so thank you. May you please take care and stay safe.
