@@amandab4725 I've been looking to replaces parts of my wardrobe because some of my favourite pieces are showing the signs of passage of time :) I find the current trends very unflattering, everything is shapeless and looks cheap, so I'm so happy that finding new pieces that will serve me for years might be easier now :)
Longevity for my wardrobe is a bit of an understatement. My mother has started passing me all her clothes from the 70s, 80s and 90s and none of them are out of fashion and are of fantastic quality.
I remember saving up to buy a Chanel bag a few years ago, when I already had the money to buy it. I gave up because I couldn't justify buying a bag at this price. Instead, I used the money to buy our second home. It's a better investment than a bag. And, now I have a *hotdups* ake Chanel bag that's pretty darn good.
I'm old enough to remember John Romain handbags and Etienne Aigner shoes and belts that were a signature burgundy (cordovan) leather. That screamed class back in the day.
For once, I’m pretty happy about the current trends, the more classic, elegant styles suit me very well. Straight, slim pants and classic-fit blazers are especially welcome. As a petite, I haven’t been able to style those wide, baggy pants so that they look good on me. I hated the oversized blazer trend, I never bought a single one, my small body practically disappears in that much fabric. Designers just kept pushing and pushing them, but finally got the message that we want fitted ones when the first fitted-waist ones all sold out in an hour. I hate tight, bandage-fit clothes, too, I just want clothes that comfortably outline my shape and I think this autumn I’ll finally be able to find them. I wish designers wouldn’t make trends so extreme. They do this to make us feel outdated immediately, so that we’ll keep buying more and more. But, so many of us are now off the fast-fashion, warp-speed trend cycle, we want to buy more responsibly and wear our clothes longer than just a year or two. We want better quality, more timeless styles.
I soooo feel You! I am also e petite and I hated the oversized blazer trend and oversized shirts as well. I just waited patiently for more classic silhoutes to come back and I just wore my three classic fitting blazers that I have in my wardrobe. But now I finally can buy some new ones
Well fitting clothes are like a custom sofa slipcover - skimming the curves of the body, without being either tight or baggy. This often requires a zipper, bust darts, or both. Sadly, the only places I can find these well tailored clothes are thrift stores! BUT FINALLY we are seeing them come back to retail stores this season! Hallelujah!

@NoyesCuffee Totally with with you on that. I was almost going to purchase a couple of bags (Just Proenza Schouler and Bottega) but decided that I'd rather buy a little speed boat that the whole family can enjoy. I'm glad that many of us are getting away from the slavish notion of designer/brand devotion. Plus, it seems like quality has gone downhill for many major brands.
Yes to the olive to bottle green. And it's tricky to find great quality trousers in larger sizes that match. Argh! And definitely for browns--too yellow, too reddish, too purple-y, etc.
Audrey, every since you taught me that my East Asian olive skin was actually cool toned, I haven't looked back, and my style has improved sooo much! I now get compliments on my style as well as comments that I look fresher and healthier, all thanks to you!! Really appreciate your approach to fashion and self confidence. Thanks for all you teach!
I learned a few months ago that my brown-olive skin was a Deep winter (cool undertone) and so many things make sense now. I’ve always hated most fall colors on me. Many of my friends near my complexion look good in orange and it looks terrible on me. Yellows look even worse. And now I know why I was happy with so much of my wardrobe being black!
I’ve worn chocolate brown, olive green, and burgundy my entire life. I was an 80’s teen and fell in love with the “Ralph Lauren” look. Plaid, paisley, leather, loafers, silk scarves I’ve ALWAYS had them in my wardrobe. I’ve sprinkle in trends over the years, but my foundation has remained the same…once I went English countryside I never looked back. It’s classic for a reason. Parts of it will always be in style because English Royalty won’t let it go out of style☺️

Green is one of my favorite "neutral" colors to wear! Would love to see you share your color combinations for all the different shades of green, but especially olive 🫒
Finally, a trend video with colors and styles that many of us would like to have as core pieces of our wardrobe. And as always, you present these trends with class and grace. So, thank you for being a "voice of reason" amide all of the weirdness on RUclips right now.
I just moved from getting my PhD to a workplace I’m very intimidated by. I’m totally going to lean on your channel to help me transition my wardrobe to feel confident and also stylish at work. Thank you so much!
Watching this video while sitting at work wearing a tailored flannel blazer, cropped pants, black loafers, a chunky silver cuff bracelet, and a Fennwyth scarf tied around my bag’s handle…. I feel like this video was made for my outfit. 😂
If brown and olive don't look great on you (they don't on me), you can still wear them by pairing with pink, fuchsia, or mauve. For instance, pair an olive green jacket or sweater with a light pink shirt. Super cute!
So happy to see a more sleek look trending for fall. As a shorter, petite person, I could never pull off the wide leg trousers and oversized jackets. Thank you for the video.
I’m a redhead. I like to wear olive/army green. I have a couple of chocolate pieces. I hated any red until about 12 yrs ago. I have finally learn what color “reds” look good on me, mostly dark. You’ve helped me “put my wardrobe together! Thank you Audrey 😊

The thumbnail with the brown suede loafer, grey socks, black jeans and brown long coat is fantastic. I am excited about the brown trend. It's my favorite color.
This was such a pleasant video to watch. I love your gentle and soothing voice as well. Great looks too. So glad I already have every item you mentioned. :)

I love burgundy, chocolate brown and olive. This will be my season! In Vinted I found a burgundy longchamp bag, I am so happy. :) Thank you for your video, Audrey.
I’m only 22 and still finding my strict style…but I find these to all fit it so well. I remember when I was in middle school the English Heritage style was huge and I adored it then and still do! I think I’m going to start sticking with my pieces that are classic and true to styles I have admired for ages as they seem to be my go to’s. Also, a personal color for me this season is that purple-brown that is almost woody? I’m not sure if that makes sense but I think finding colors that one can stick to for years to come is so classic and so chic especially over time.
Yes to videos on more colors- you’re love and knowledge of color is delicious, rich, and gorgeous-yes to greens and browns. I’m finding that identifying the undertone in a color , whether it’s warm or cool helps tremendously with mixing and matching. I’m doing closet edits for fall and beside myself for the navy, burgundy, brown palette in boots, jackets, and handbags especially!
I have one *suluxy* bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
I can’t believe you highlighted olive green in this video because I’ve been after knee length olive green boots, unsuccessfully ( 🇬🇧 )and I think olive / khaki goes with so much. Please do a video. 💚

Hello Audrey, I love your white sweater, you are very elegant. My favorite colors for fall and winter, white, camel, beige, chocolate. Thanks for all this advice
I've been watching your videos and would really love a closet tour! I've been learning how to curate a wardrobe that I truly enjoy, and Marie Kondo has been super helpful. I'm fine-tuning the process, but having too many clothes can feel overwhelming!

I subscribed because I really like your videos. You have taste and offer timeless, elegant and refined clothes. "Green" is frequently found in the fall 2024/winter 2025 fashion. I love green. Of course, not all shades of green suit my skin tone. Could you make a video on the different greens and how to combine them with other colors. Thank you very much and have a nice day. 😊
Thank you very much for your video! I love that grey and burgundy are the colors of this season. I love them. I’m “winter “ in my tone. Even I like green and some browns, I cannot wear them. They set bad with my skin tone and eye color. I would appreciate a video about green for every body including the ones we are “winter “ and love green but not in our wardrobe. May be accessories ideas. Thanks!!!
It's the come back of the 1960 preppy style: l'm happy it's my favorite style,a mix of casual and elegance.Thank you for your video and your calm and delicate behavior.
That may be a mistake if you're a natural redhead. The orange tones in red hair clash with burgundy fiercely in large amounts. Have you tried a deep mahogany red or a deep russet? In rgb code, one of my favorites is 112, 28, 28. A deep red with a slight hint of brown. The thing is to either eliminate the blue tone or balance it with green, in rgb terms.
I love these colors and clothes. I would love for you to do a video on olive. The classic aesthetic has me swooning. Reminding me of my younger years. I’m 71 and still remember when clothes were classy! Especially in the fall!
I'm absolutely smitten with the last creation is pure perfection! However, the price tag is a bit steep. But, after owning one for a bit, I discovered some amazing duplicates that deliver the same luxurious feel at a much lower cost. And, I must say, the quality of some of these alternatives is just as impressive, without the hefty price tag. It's honestly been a game changer for me..
My classic closet that is at least 5 years old rolls back in style. But I might need to buy while what I like is around. Waiting until next trend comes around to buy in sale!
Really looking forward to your doing a video on chocolate brown, I think it has been neglected as a neutral. I love to wear it with navy and it tends to be less harsh for my colouring. I hope more clothing and footwear options will be available in this colour.
Yes to the color focused videos, this olive on the horizon, Im quite sure you have noticed leans towards a taupe undertone. Thank you , love your videos.
I was partway through typing a comment when my laptop shut down for no reason I can discern, so here's hoping I can remember what I was saying... My style is not quite English country - I am British and very much like that look, though it's a little bit too preppy for my taste, which leans a bit more tomboyish. The colours are absolutely my colours, though - olive, moss and sage greens, warm browns and cream, ivory and other off-white shades are very much to my taste, as are warmer yellows and orange and rust shades. I love the tweeds, knits and corduroy fabrics of the English country style; they are designed to be suitable for autumns and winters in a climate that tends towards cold and damp rather than cold and snowy, which makes perfect sense. Also, the preppy and dark academia aesthetics draw heavily from English university life and style, especially from Oxbridge (that is Oxford and Cambridge universities, for those who don't know) and English public school traditions.
Hi Audrey, another beautiful video full of ideas, thank you. I love the visual references you pull for us. It would be very helpful if you could add in for each where they come from - good to credit the creators and also helpful for us as we try to source pieces. Thank you ❤
Burgundy, chocolate brown , gray. And being short, glad to see the straight or slim leg pants coming back as it was tough to find a wide leg that worked for me. Elevated heel flats and riding boots are great to see!
my god... clothes that actually make you look good? boat necks? high boots? burgundy? I think I died and woke up in heaven!!!
I'm SO excited about these!!

I am soooo excited!!!! These are my absolute fall favorites! Classic and English country! Beautiful!!🍁🇨🇦🍁🇨🇦
Love these trends, thank you! I will be bringing out my tall black boots, burgundy, chocolate brown suede blazer…so many great options!
I'm glad you showed the cropped pants- I'm 5 ft and think these fit better than wide leg pants.
Yes please to an olive green centered video! I am always drawn to that color and I would love to know the best pairings for it! 😊
The Ralph Lauren look start to end...I just love it, always have💖
Thank you very much for your video! Thanks!!!
This LYXBAG tote is beautifully colored, very sturdy and the perfect size. Not too small, not too big. I look forward to joining my rotation
It's the come back of the 1960 preppy style: l'm happy it's my favorite style,a mix of casual and elegance.Thank you for your video and your calm and delicate behavior.
I'm Soo glad that U spoke about burgundy Audrey..
As a redhead,
I have never worn red..
I’m absolutely loving the Burgundy color this year.. I do think it’s a timeless classic..
Love it taking out the Barbour jacket and my more fitted smythe blazers
Fall is my favorite season in general, but these “ trends” are so up my alley, love love love !
❤yes I'd love a video on olive green & khaki please
Perfect! I'll add it to my list :)
Greatful for straight leg pants. Yes to a video on greens.
I hope more clothing and footwear options will be available in this colour.
nice collection but I would love to see maybe a low end and high end example (where to find) of each style if ever possible. thanks!
I adore burgundy, capris, knee high boots, boat necks so this fall and winter will definitely suit my tastes, I'm so happy!!! 🤗
Yes to the color focused videos, this olive on the horizon, Im quite sure you have noticed leans towards a taupe undertone. Thank you , love your videos.
It is a pleasure to listen to Audrey’s voice
OLIVE GREEN, pleaseee!! I'm OBSESSED!!
My mom bought one kislux and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.
I adore olive green and would love for you to do a video on the color! Thank you. ☺️
The best falltrends in years! I love almost all of them!
Yes, would love that green khaki, olive video.
I love the burgundy color trend too!
Hi Audrey, another beautiful video full of ideas, thank you. I love the visual references you pull for us. It would be very helpful if you could add in for each where they come from - good to credit the creators and also helpful for us as we try to source pieces. Thank you ❤
Great job on your video! Very elegant and informative.
Yes please do a video about olive.
Love the polka dots and the boots!
Silk scarves Forever! 💛💛💛💛💛
What a great video! Love the longevity perspective-Thank you!
Burgundy, chocolate brown , gray. And being short, glad to see the straight or slim leg pants coming back as it was tough to find a wide leg that worked for me. Elevated heel flats and riding boots are great to see!
Classy, cute! Love the T-accent shoes. Thank you for your video!
Thank you for taking the time to talk through why the details are classic!
