    I personally prefer the c40 just because you're not limited to the stick layout. Huge win for the versatility.....oh and if the modules break or become defective you can purchase them instead of buying another controller. Only downside i can gather from the c40 is the lack of the extra underside buttons. However this is astro so i wouldn't doubt that they will find a way to push the gaming threshold.

      Beastly 1st either the Scuf or Astro are excellent controllers. I’ve wanted to try the new digital click triggers on the Impact. One thing is the Impact will 100% work with the PS5 since they have said it will be backwards compatible. Hopefully the Astro will be too but since it’s not a modified dual shock 4 who knows. If I could only have one I’d pick the Astro though.

      @Red Dead BooN TRUE Ive gotta say that I bougth 2 Nacon Revolution Unlimited controllers in one had stick drift and I got a refund and bought another one
      The controller is awsome and its far better personally than a dualschock 4 even for the price. Ergonomics, solid build quality, responsive switches that you have a joy to hear.
      Ive already had 3 dualshocks and they all stuttered mainly because I play CoD so the controllers really get punished, altougth i never tried other Pro controllers like Scuf or Astro, I would say depending for what intend to play with the price/quality ratio of the nacon is aceptable against other pro controllers.

    Nacon has no customer service should you need service or replacement parts. the people who answer the emails on their website claim they are tech support and cannot offer further assistance or contact info for customer service. i have the original revolution and would not recommend nacon. you better enjoy a tilted analog stick or non working proprietary cable if you buy nacon. something to think about and rarely discussed by reviewers when comparing controllers.

    Astro C40 is really good and better tbh like the nacon controller’s pad(back buttons) are a joke like how are they even paddles and I know nacon has 4 back buttons and the Astro has 2 but like people use 2 not 4 on nacon cuz the buttons below are hard to click cuz of ur pinky finger.Also nacon messes your mic up if u blame the Astro for not connecting to ur PS4 probably cuz u haven’t seen or watched the steps in youtube or the website

  • @nathananders7657
    @nathananders7657 5 лет назад

    I'm using the nacon revolution pro and have 2 small complaints. The plastic shaft on the right stick feels as if its been grinding along an inner rim,so its a little rough when doing a circular movement. Also its audio out is a little disappointing. I was hoping the reviewer would touch on their respective audio performances since (unlike most controllers) there are options for volume and equalizer adjustments. These two controllers having these options should make the reviewer at least spend a few minutes on them for audio quality opinions.

    You can pick up the Nacon revolution unlimited from Walmart’s website. I’ll be honest though I’m taking my nacon back because the controller couldn’t feel any weirder to use. The controller sits in your hand perfectly until you try to hit the remapable buttons. They are just a little too tough to press. The joysticks are my biggest issue with it though. They are incredibly loose, I liked it much better when I increased the amplitude but it makes a weird click.

    It’s a really good controller in terms of functionality, and button layout, but it’s really a shame that it cannot endure time, and that’s not the first Nacon controller that I’ve bought, I also bought both of the Nacon 1 & 2 and they also didn’t last a year.

Big face buttons with acceleration mapped to square , wpn absorbtion mapped to triangle , & wpn fireing mapped to X , means I never have to take my foot off the gas , while juggleing the other mechanics with ease . Also , jumping a ramp then wiggleing the stick back & forth while airborne , equals a near 100 % success rate of a mid air spin & speed boost upon landing , using the Nacon straight out of the box . While the DS4 is usually 50/50 lol . All that being said , im leery of upgradeing , to the Unlimited , because the Relaxing End had issues with the left stick of his , like the issues yours has ! I have a custom ps4 controller from battle beaver customs, the c40 n i just got the nacon rev unlimited. Ill rotate between them so i dont where modules out

    I got that Nacon RP. Compared to the Raiju it's pretty disappointing. The material of the NRP is slippery, including the analog sticks and gets you very sweaty hands. The buttons on the back are a bitch to press. The face buttons don't feel right, they don't have a nice click to them. And I feel that the deadzones and trigger sensitivity using the software don't really do anything. And there are no trigger stops on it. Overall pretty disappointing. The Raiju is still the easiest to use and has the best feel.

    • @Jojotheprocrastinator
      @Jojotheprocrastinator 5 лет назад

      Just looking at them, the astro is a bit wide in comparison and the buttons are smaller where the nacon has large face buttons. I'm not an experienced claw player, but I'd imagine the wide astro would be a smidge uncomfortable unless you have larger hands. I've heard that from other users that the astro is not exactly a small controller.

    • @PPiNiX16
      @PPiNiX16 5 лет назад +1

      I have the astro c40, it is alot bigger than the regular ps4 controller. It is a bit of a stretch to get your pointer finger on the face buttons being that the controller seems to be designed so that your fingers rest perfectly on the triggers (L2/R2). If you have smaller hands using claw on this controller will be more of a struggle honestly. Other than that I love the controller, great build quality and functionality

    Does Nacon support gyro and touchpad on Steam if you connect it in PS4 mode on Pc?

    • @GODzilla_FH
      @GODzilla_FH 5 лет назад +1

      I just fiddled around a bit with the settings in Steam and the different modes and without using 3rd party software - I haven't tried something like "DS4Windows" - I haven't found a way to use the gyro in Windows / Steam.
      In PC mode Steam insists that it sees an Xbox One controller. In PS4 advanced mode, which definitely makes the gyro usable on the PS4, it initially asks me to setup all the buttons manually but can be persuaded to see it as a DS4 controller afterswards. However, the gyro still does not work. As Steam accepts it as a DS4 like I mentioned above you can choose the gyro and set it up as mouse for instance, tried this both for the Desktop configuration as well as the Big Picture config, but there is no gyro input registered.
      So...the short answer is probably: No. Not without 3rd party and I haven't tested this.
      Though I'm still rather grateful that at least on PS4 the Nacon does support gyro. It feels like a proper replacement for the DS4. There are many pro controllers out there without the gyro support and even some games use it. Only thing missing is the controller speaker, which the Astro has, but since I have a pretty good headset I never used that anyway. For me it's definitely the Nacon and I really like it so far. :)

    This is BS when you realize all sony had to do is create a DUALSHOCK 4 Companion app on the cross media bar for free to fully custom calibrate & health check there own pad, but no they'ed rather ride on third party coat tails earning money off of endorsement's that they could make obsolete with the flick of a switch Microsoft & Nintendo switch have this in house because compatibility can be better policed not to conflict with there own assets per patch, ive often wondered why friends have complained of failures of multiple DS4 V2 pads (cheap parts?) now im suspicious its to push third party endorsed products. A sort of warped planned obsolescence scheme of official pads!?

      Haven't had a single issue with mine. Feels solid and very well put together. I have not witnessed any deadzones or anything with the sticks apart from a small amount of drift that is fixed by holding the program button until it vibrates and wait 30 seconds for another vibrate and the sticks are recalibrated. Breaking the trigger stops definitely sounds like a you problem, not an Astro problem.
