    I've returned 2 Astro controllers in 1 month. Both started with major stick drift within the first 2 weeks. I think the removable sticks make for a weak connection.

      @@Zerba- I tried that on both..still stuck at 20-40% drift. I think it has to do with the removable stick connection but not sure. When I moved the stick the drift followed. I wish it didn't do that because it was a real comfortable controller and the triggers we're awesome.

    'Probably optimal from an ergonomic perspective'. There's no such thing, it depends on what the individual user is comfortable with. For what it's worth, I dislike the analog being placed high because it prevents you from easily clawing the dpad. I claw in games like Apex Legends (where you need to use the dpad to heal/throw nades).

    • @Chronospherics
      @Chronospherics 5 лет назад +1

      @@michaeldalton7611 Yes you can, on the Astro. I've owned both of these and honestly wouldn't recommend either of them. The analog sticks just don't feel right on either controller, google 'Astro C40 stick tension' or 'Nacon Revolution analog' and you'll see that they have plenty of issues. I spent over a week with both controllers and couldn't get anything close to my accuracy on a dual shock 4. In general, the best pro controllers you can get are modded and based on official hardware from the console manufacture. The best PS4 controller is made by Evil Controllers / Battle Beaver customs, and the best XBOX ONE controller is the XBOX ONE Elite. That's just my opinion.

    I have had the unlimited for a while now, I got it not long after it was released. After only two month there was noticeable stick drift in the right stick. Now, as of last month, the left trigger frequently gives inputs without any contact with my finger.
    These problems could probably be solved by getting into the controller and cleaning or fixing the pieces, but it is unnecessarily difficult to even get the shell off.
    So I cannot recommend the nacon to anyone who plays frequently for extended periods.
    I have not experienced the astro as of yet so I cannot speak on that one.

    I have the C40. Sticks fail with drifting in a month or two. Purchased replacements and those also had the same problem after two months. Front L1/L2, R1/R2 buttons are too close and I keep pressing the "1" when I was pressing the "2". I purchased a Nacon Pro 3 (not the unlimited) because I can't spend 40 on sticks every two months. If it lasts 6 months the Nacon will be better deal. I think, however that the general build quality of the Astro is more "premium". If the sticks on the Astro wheren´t crap I would probably choose the Astro.

    I'd say the Razer Raiju Ultimate is the best choise, but due to the horrible reliability of the controller I can't recommend it. I've had the worst possible luck with controllers starting with a Scuf PS4 controller that I recieved broken and sent it back, never to hear from it again. And yes, according to the tracking code the package had arrived to the destination.
    The first batch of Raiju Ultimates ended up having broken motherboards which caused their thumbsticks to drift and not register commands. I ended up getting a new controller with a new motherboard, but after about 6 months of use the left thumbstick started to randomly drift left and often register sprinting in games.
    So make sure you buy your expensive controller from a place you trust.

I literally never use my nacon.....I play perfectly with 2 extra buttons and the feel of the Astro is second to none. The Astro also feels to be the best quality built by far. I use the Nacon, and have owned several C40s previously. The C40 will stop working/drift after a few months, the interchangeable buttons probably being the reason. The Nacon isn't as good as the C40, the back buttons, triggers, and shoulder buttons are shit compared to the c40s, and the headset plug is absolute garbage... but at least it hasn't died on me yet.

    I would like to know if it is possible to use the rapid fire function on this joystick. (REVOLUTION UNLIMITED)
    Whether on the extra "S" buttons or the standard buttons.
    Because apparently there is no possibility of configuring rapid fire function by the joystick software or by the joystick itself.
