The controller will only last 2 years if you're a hardcore gamer, take it from me, i've had it for a very long time. the L1 and R1 buttons break if over used, meaning the click vanishes and and sensitive touch to them will activate them even if you dont mean to. The con-cave is the best but they get dirty too easily. If you're someone who likes keeping the controller clean, use dome. the extra buttons (for me) are the best and easy to use once you get the hang of if. if you never used them before, of course its gonna be hard. And you can have up to 4 profiles each for pc and ps4 which i use. if you play mmorpg's then this is the controller for you, First person shooter users, use something else.. If you smack or throw this controller on anything due to rage, you just wasted your money cause the sticks will pop off, u will lose parts and the components inside are pretty delicate. (have an older controller near by if you have to throw something or therapy) :')

I would like to know if it is possible to use the rapid fire function on this joystick. (REVOLUTION UNLIMITED)
Whether on the extra "S" buttons or the standard buttons.
Because apparently there is no possibility of configuring rapid fire function by the joystick software or by the joystick itself.
I'm looking for any information about this "rapid fire function" but apparently, no info disponible at all.

I’ve come from a standard Xbox controller, to an elite series 2, to this, then back to the standard Xbox controller. I chose this cause I’m used to the layout (Xbox button/joystick placement) and because I had issues with the RB on the elite series 2 and i wanted something different. This controller feels really bad to use, super uncomfortable especially when pressing buttons. Squishy D-Pad, oddly shaped (and difficult to press) L1 and R1 buttons, but satisfying thumb sticks. I tried this for 3 days but I seemed to have literally no control, felt much more sluggish, and terrible back buttons (im used to using paddles and I used the top left button). I can’t tell what I’m pressing on the back at all! The software was pretty bad too, I couldn’t change the color and it was complex if you’re going for pure customization. I play a lot of fortnite and of course that’s another reason why I bought the controller and I’m returning it after 3 days. Now I’m back to my standard white Xbox controller with a strike pack and it feels sooooo much better.

Honestly it’s a dope controller. I’ve had it for more than 6months have not received one bit of stick drift. Although the paddles were annoying at 1st month now I’m use to it. The custom thumb sticks are big dope.

As for the back buttons I ordered some Sugru. It allowed me to pop out the buttons for a tremendously more comfortable feel. For the joysticks, if you want them to be extended a bit more I ended up getting some PowerA F.P.S. Analog Caps. The only problem I have is functionality atm. When I go to play any shooter game, ps4 and pc ( bo4 and apex are my main games), I cannot automatically run even with auto sprint on. I have to continuously press my L3 down to run when that shouldn't be the case. I use my other standard controller then it works perfectly so it's not a connection/latency issue. If anyone has a fix to this I would greatly appreciate it. Hope I helped some too.

I like this controller the only things i dont like is the grip covers on the back have this hardened plastic hump in them that gets pretty uncomfortable after playing a while. The back buttons are a little hard to hit and i think the grip covers are part of the issue. Those grip covers are just too big and awkward, they shouldve made that the customizable option because the thumbsticks are fine with the defaults

Had to change mine for the Revolution 3, the R1 button of the unlimited stopped "clicking" after 2 months of usage and ultimately stopped working how its supposed to 4 months down the line, the stereo headset jack has a factory issue so everybody hears you poorly unless you have bluetooh headsets, and if you read other reviews or watch other peoples complaints, they have the exact same issues so its no coincidence, the revolution 3 has none of these issues so far and i dont mind it being wired so if you dont either then id suggest anyone to pick the Rev 3

100% agree with you on the back buttons - made me really disappointed/frustrated when buying this after owning the Elite for Xbox (those paddles are unbeatable!).
I've since double-sided-taped some random pieces of plastic onto the buttons, which made them much more accessible. Hope somebody would design custom 3D-printable overlays to glue onto the buttons.
Regarding the rings on the sticks: you gotta adjust the input curves when using them! If, say, the middle ring limits physical movement to 75% you gotta adjust the curve so that 75% movement equals 100% of actual input. THEN they're really useful.
Also: the lack of triggers stops is a legit "WTF were they thinking?" moment.

@@TooMuchTech I would like really like to see a screenshot of the C40 Axis visualization, due to some posts on the internet I found stating that the C40 would have some kind of drift issue / not mapping input to the full range of the thumbstick.
The Nacon Revolution pro 3 seems to have 'cleaner' accuracy along the thumbstick from what I found at the end of this youtube video:
      ruclips.net/video/hYdomEs6F14/видео.html
(Notice: it looks like an octagon, but this can be changed to a square with the Nacon software).
furthermore, I think reviewing controllers nowadays should also include the stick axes mappings and potential drift issues, since it seems to be such a common faulty feature of any controller. I bought the Razer Raiju tournament edition (firmware 1.05), which has TERRIBLE input mapping along the axes (it does not make a 'clean' motion / figure, so you might lose stick accuracy on different points of your controller). it also has slight drifting on the right thumbstick to the right-side when slightly pressed and released.
I only have it for 1-2 months using it for around 8 hours a week.
For anyone interested, the faulty input mapping for the Razer Raiju TE can also be found in the video I just stated.
Anyway, I think you are far too much pushing how great of a controller this is. Actually stating it is the best in every way is just too much hyping people up, while you apparantly had no clue about the fact you had to change max.input ring to 75% if you were gonna use the thicker ring around your thumbstick. That just seems like a lack of technical insight in order to actually correctly review something... The internet is full of C40 malfunctions.
I also do not understand that you are stating you are reviewing the Nacon revolution Unlimited pro V3, while you are obiously confusing the Nacon Revolution Pro 3 and the Nacon Revolution Unlimited.
Im not saying your review is not valid, Im just saying you should be focused more on facts and actual arguments to support your opinion. You made less of an impact to me after I did some research myself, which should obviously be your goal of reviewing something.

phanx I bought it day one. Have been using it since. At the time the advantage was my only other option. I tried out the Scuff Vantage for nearly a month and returned it. But to answer your question, Heavy, Joystick Tension is to loose, joystick Quality is terrible ( Quick Stick Drift ), can’t remove the rumbles, I still can’t find a consistent grip for FPS games. But there customer service is pretty good, they’ve helped me get over 10 different pairs of Joysticks .so I can keep gaming
