At 12:49 I said that my left stick would be too sensitive and the right would be less, but it's the opposite. Left would be less sensitive and right would be more sensitive. Thanks for catching that!

Hi, Thanks for the Tutorial, I am considering purchasing this controller. but after reading some reviews I noticed how People in the US are having trouble with the initial Software update/process, being a UK based controller, so my question is will I be able to use this controller on my ps4 in the US without running into software update issues??

I brought mine for Doom Eternal so i could jump and dash without taking my thumb off aim. This controllers fire.

I notice that when using the thickest stick shaft it was difficult in some games (RDR2 for one) to select the Left/right/up/down from the item wheel. The problem was solved using the middle thickness attachment.

I use both mid size shaft, just felt the most familiar to me but I love that the other options are there, got the unlimited this week and im love!! Thanks for your vids it definitely helped me make the decision to get it! Keen for more vids on it and the Astro.

Hi Goshuki, The main reason I’d switch from the PS4 Dual Shock is having gone through 2 in 1 year because of left stick drift with no good way of correcting it. You mentioned with the Astro C40 review that you can solve drift easily, is this true as well with the Nacon?
@@cottonjoe993 Unfortunately, I don't think the Nacon has a cool trick to reset the sticks like Astro does..

Dude I love your videos, you’re the reason why I bought the Nacon Revolution Unlimited, I found your channel in December 2017 when I started to get curious wether I should buy a new Controller and 2 years later thank GOD I did! Only after a week of owning the Controller I’ve become a beast in MK11 and other games, but thanks for this video. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to change the Sticks or not and I definitely need to change the actuation point of the Triggers.

Took the plunge and got an Unlimited yesterday (150€ here in Finland). Really like it from the get-go. Only had time to config the keybinds for Fortnite and play one match of Team Rumble. Got an average score, 12 kills, but put some flick shots in that really surprised me :D. The sticks are really precise!
Have an Elite controller for Xbone and that one really shines over the Unlimited in two things:
- The elite has really good paddles, large and easy to find and use. The Unlimited's miniscule buttons will really take some getting used to.
- The elite's magnetic sticks feel way better than the unlimited's. I predict that the plastic clips that hold the unlimited's sticks will break pretty easily.
Oh yeah Elite is great. You know there are adapters to make the Elite work on PS4 pretty well. Overall though I agree, the Unlimited is nice but those back buttons could be more pronounced.
Yes, I've seen the adapters but went the more expensive route anyways :D. Also, I got the Elite used and the sticks feel pretty loose, sticks on the stock Dual Shock (and the Unlimited) feel more stiff (haha) and hence are better for precise aiming.
Side note: I play Fortnite on both Xbox and PS4 (and Switch). Is it just me or is aim assist way, WAY, weaker on Xbox?

Ive had this controller for about a month and ive got my right stick perfect, but ive watched many videos on this and I dont understand anyones reasoning for keeping the movement stick for FPS games as default.
Surely making this sensitivity higher with minimal input would make it easier to strafe left and right in a gunfight?

Stick shaft thickness is dependent on game optimisation. You might find games slow to respond at centre aim point so you up the in game sensitivity to get that right, then discover your max turn rate is way to fast so you can thicken your stick to kill off the max speed mechanically adjusting your response curve as much as possible before dicking around with digital response settings. As long as you start from a static deadspot position its best to rely on in game settings first then mechanical set up then pad programming. Not all games have deadspot calibration or response curve or acceleration options in the menus for some shit reason & pad memory reliance may be limited?

Me too. Having a lot of trouble with it. I have thumb issues and got this mostly because of the thicker sticks. I’d like to learn how to set it up in the app.
Did anyone find the analog stick would rebound when u release it? I mean you push to left and let go, somehow while the stick back to central but it would rebound to the opposite direction a bit
Well I can tell you that the thicker shafts don’t allow full movement on apex legends... middle ones are good tho.
In modern warfare the same. Does this has to do with settings you need to adjust?

I saw all the analogue stick options, turned the sensitivity to negative and left it at that. I try to avoid adjusting things like these outside of in game sensitivity 😂
To be honest, I don't really like going into them too much myself hahaha. I typically leave the response as is also but I wanted to explain what you can do with it.

I was thinking in invert the analogic and putting those stuff to give more sensibility on the right, to run easy with the right and move the camera and the aim with the left.

Hmmm they are connecting it wired? Maybe try a new USB port or make sure it's the right software?

I think I’m missing something. When you put the bigger shaft on the stick, you will impair movement in the hardware, but the software will just register you not pushing the stick all the way. Is there no way in the software to make it read you’re pushing the stick all the way?

Hi. Just bought this beast and also would recommend using the thicker shafts for the left stick. However hou will need to adjust the senditivity curce becquee you have like 30% less movement space.
Did you adjust it and did it work with the thicker shaft? I have less movement because of thicker shaft :(
Hey, I still got hope to get my controller fixed... Well, the problem is that it constantly have drifting problems, it just starts moving to the left (right stick) even when I'm not touching it, and when I move the left stick in any direction, the right stick just keeps driftifting even quicker to the left... Anything I can try to solve this? Help please

Hi. I changed the stick shaft for the thickest one. The issue is that it won't register all the way to the end. In the test menu on the software it won't get to the edge of the crosshair. This has made an issue in the menus as it won't work properly as the range is limited. Is there any way to re calibrate the input of the left stick with the thicker shaft?

what do you adjust the sensitivity to when you want to simply compensate for the thicker ring ?
Thats the problem im having. If i use the mid size ring and push the analog stick all the way its like im only moving it halfway in the game. I cant move at full speed with it basically. I think its that you need the max 1 setting on the left to happen at a number lower than 100 on the bottom. I think the red section gets smaller as you use a thicker ring. Could be wrong though i gotta try it out

Greg Wahlers i found that switching to the thinnest rings and setting sensitivity to minus on both sticks works really well me. the in game sensitivity handles the rest

Great video! I picked up the v3 of this controller and I’m playing around with the right stick sensitivity. My only question is should I revert the in game sensitivity to default if I’m going to use my custom Nacon profile? Like for destiny, I set my sensitivity on 10 because I played using a scuf. Now that I have the Nacon, should I default the in game setting? Or is that negligible ?

Hi goshuki. I see this video is a year old but I just got this controller and I was hoping you could answer something for me . I changed the right thumbstick to the medium shaft with the 38 degree . but I see I need to change the sensitivity to match with the thicker shaft so it can register the missing corners occupied by the thicker shaft. could you help me with that.
Nacon pro2 died so yes now I have the pro3.
For racing the smallest on the left, FIFA I play with the thickest. Right I don't change really. For racing I have the sensitivity on -. Further on+. Don't change much. Not many uploaded profiles either

@@GoshukiGaming Just returned the nacon pro3. Didn't see always a input from R2.. very annoying. I have now a razor raiju t.e. very strange controller. Can't even update the firmware because I have a iMac.... Still the 1.01 firmware and already broken down in the PS4. Can't do nothing. First update. I hope that that thing will work till the astro comes to the Netherlands
@@smasters01 I had to install Windows on my Mac to update the Razer. Hopefully the Astro comes over there.

Question for you goshuki: im playing the golf club 2019 on ps4..and like you know maybe the game is only to get straight swings..so simple you only use the right stick and going down and up..everry time every day..is it possible to customize the right stick only to get swings almost only down to up..so without or at least less hit to the right or left if you know what i mean? So the thing what i want is getting nice straight swings without going left or right..can you help me please?

This did help, so thank you for that. But here's my delima. No matter what game I'm auing these stick don't seem to have a gradual curve to their movements. Example, I would expect that if my stick is pushed to 45% then my movements will be 45%. But in the Nacon, it seems to only have three speeds, so depending on where your stick is you're going to get level A, B, Or C with no in between. Am I doing something wrong?
How do these sensitivities affect sensitivity in game? If im playing Fortnite and keep my game sens the same but change it on the controller what happens?
The sense of the Controller take over and u can't see the sense of the game anymore

You need to make a new profile, you can’t change the profiles that came with the controller

When you are using the thicker shafts you aren't able to get 100% travel? So does the sensitive need to be adjusted accordingly the allow you to 100% output in game?

at 12:49 you say my left stick will be way too sensitive, but thats wrong...when you look you'll see that at 66% joystick movement your actual character movement is only 0.3...your small movements will be less sensitive..your right analogue stick is way more sensitive....

What look sensitivity are you running in games like Destiny when you've got a low sensitivity setup on the controller?
In Destiny, I run a 4 sensitivity in game.

Hi Goshuki, I have the Pro 2 wired version...I find the left stick really sluggish on the default settings. On the normal DS4 it's so easy to do the "side to side" thing if someone is shooting you, but on this one, it moves sooo slow...any advice on setting the left stick to be more responsive? Thanks.
ok, just had a look at the whole,video...will play around with the settings and use all the profiles so i don't mess up my main settings to much. 🙂
Hmmmm good question. I'm not too sure. I would think something more sensitive though.
Ender up sending it back coz the 3mm audio Jack's playing up...must say, besides the size of it, not much better than the Dual Shock 4 though.
What would you recommend to get a ds4 feel? I have good aim with ds4 but the nacon I'm really over aiming or under aiming when I try to alter settings. Sensitivity seems far too high on the default nacon settings. So far I have it as 40 50 10 and low sensitivity.
Playing battlefield. I've tried alot of tests btw and none is as smooth as ds4

I've used the middle shaft. 45 degrees I think but I'll confirm exact settings when I'm home from work dude :) I play bfv and i've also put my sensitivity 20% down from what it was with the ds4. Hope that helps. As i said i'll confirm exact settings etc later!

Bro im using the 46° ones with fortnite sens 8.5 : 8.5 in addition to the high galaxy kontrol freeks and might as well remove the shaft in order to get extra radius 🤦🏻♂️. It really depends on how u want your gameplay to turn out like..

Got my revolution unlimited today. I know nacon is all about customisation but I am disappointed. I just want a pro controller for the back buttons. The blue ring mode feels very off - almost as if it was designed to entice you to fiddle with the settings of red ring mode.
I just want a thumstick that feels normal out of the box, you know?

Edit: thrustmaster had stick drift out of the box. Caved in and got this nacon back. Guess Ill just try and get used to it
Thinking about getting one but after my problems with my pro 2 disconnecting constantly(USB connection pin problem) I'm a little apprehensive about spending this kind of coin on another mediocre controller. I know this is both wired and wireless but in all honesty is this pad worth it?
I think it's worth it. It's a great controller if you want a pro controller.

I bought a revolution V2 last week, and when I want to add macros to it I didn't find anything on it! I was searching internet but unfortunately i found that this option removed from controller, I think it is just a software change, Is there anyway to add this option to controller again ( Like changing firmware or using the older version of software and etc... ) Please help me it possible , Thanks a lot
Only the V1 supports macros. Cant get them on V2.

Nacon_Neutral works fine for me, a just change the dead zone to 5 in the right analog stick, and 2 for the left
