I just very recently purchased a Staccato P. I'm so glad I did. This firearm is insanely accurate. It shoots bullseye after bullseye. It took me several months to decide whether I wanted to purchase it. The price tag is what got me. But, I took a leap of faith and it's awesome. I highly recommend it.
Phenomenal review. I ordered mine last week, and was told 45 days. Much more than I wanted to spend, but I know in the end, I won’t regret my decision. Your review confirmed that!! Thank you-
You are gonna love your C2..mine is my EDC. I’m doing some work to mine now and turning into a C2X. I’m putting a Dark Side Precision Full size gen1 grip on it, putting in an Atlas Flat Red trigger in it, and the upper is off at Monsoon Tactical getting chunk ported and a dark ceracoat that looks like black nitride.
I just got a Staccato XL DPO 3 days ago! I’m taking it out this weekend!! I’m so stoked!! Watching other people shoot it makes me want to leave work and try it out!
That's very true! My XC is easily my favorite pistol. Have 4 STI/Staccato's. Hoping they will make a carry comp again, otherwise I'm getting the new Staccato P for carry.
Once you get over $1600 for a pistol, you buying it for craftsmanship. Alot of people will say no, you paying for performance too, no, you can upgrade a glock or buy a shadow system for $900-$1100 and improve accuracy from 40%-90%, ive done it plus, you have to practice, practice to get better at shooting. These 2011s are bought for craftsmanship, thats why they not for everybody. They are the cream of the crop though.
Just for the record, im not knocking this video or others like it, but we in the gun community have to watch how we present things. You have first time gun people that will buy this pistol thinking it will make them john wick over night and thats not the case. Great video, keep doing what your doing.
Any new buyers just revealing in their purchase watching review by people you've never heard of after their first day at the range? Also great review though I'm glad I found this channel
this or the c2 dpo is definately one of the guns i would love to have. i am a poor & probably will never have either one. congrats on getting both of them.
Have to add in that with the DPO models they are cheaper than the duo models list price. So they lost the factory optic plate option but we save enough to cover whichever plate we choose to use. Factory grip is a bit of a let down for the price though. Overall been happy with mine, wife had put it on layaway because I couldn’t justify the price lol.
@ fmxmyway For the DPO models Staccato stopped providing the optic plate from Dawson Precision with the gun. So compared to the DUO models the end user has to purchase the optic plate should they chose to use anything other than the Delta Point, being that’s the only one that fits directly to the slide from the factory. So one could either purchase the Dawson plate or one from C&H. The following I believe either offer a plate and or provide the optic cut to a non optic model slide. -Vulcan machine works -Monsoon Tactical -Chambers Customs -DSCgunworks -There’s probably some others I’m forgetting or don’t know of.
I have a P with the factory grip. Put Talon sandpaper grip wrap on it. Makes it much better to shoot. Just bought a P comp. with the factory tac grip texture and it is an improvement. Also bought a stippiling kit online. Have tried on a few cheap pistols (SCCY) and really like how they turned out. Just waiting to get the courage to try it on a $2500 pistol.
Great video. I edc a Beretta 92X Performance and a have been carrying it every day for almost two years. It actually weights more than the Staccato XL. I recently purchased the XL in tuxedo chrome and will carry that too. Thanks for the info.
I plan on having one of these guns with the aluminum frame as my daily carry gun. I was SHOCKED at how light this was for a 1911 style pistol and it was even the massive XL version I held. I also take immense pride in these guns being manufactured in the town I was born in, Georgetown, Texas.
100 percent. And you know she wasn't too far from it either. Regardless, I've had more than enough splatter break my skin to know that shooting steel without eye pro is a terrible idea.
I have a C DPO daily carry, and a 19 4.15 P DPO unicorn and they are the best things I own. The P is insane. It wants to keep going lol. Think it will be my winter carry now.
@@Chris09978 no, C2 and P are diffrent models. C2 is a 3.9, the P has changed over the years, from its first year being a 4.15, the next year changing to 4.4, then finally a 4.45 to what it is now. It also has a full size grip, while the C2 has a shorter grip.
I sure Love mine. I had an RMR on it, but move it to my Sig P320. I now have a Holosun 509T riding a top my Staccato P Duo. Did I say how much I love it?
Thanks for sharing I literally just got a C2 DPO I love it but like you said it's very thick... do you find the grip reduction was noticeable because that right now is my only complaint with the pistol it's very thick... I have medium to large hands and I find myself getting fatigued quicker than when I shoot my shadow systems or whatever.
Have you had any issue with the screws backing out on the plate? I have a trijicon SRO on my Staccato P DPO that I just received in February of 2022. With that being said I have put about 800 rounds through my pistol so far and I love the gun. However, I have noticed that the screws are backing out and causing the plate to get loose. This has happen to me twice is anyone else having this issue? FYI: I did degrease prior to adding VC3 and I torqued my screws down to 23 inch pounds.
It wouldn't be the only gun you need to purchase an adapter plate for... you need one for plenty of other guns. If you think it needs one for the price, maybe you don't really know what goes into making one.

If we’re talking duty grade single action 9mm handguns, especially in that price range, I don’t see why CZ isn’t a part of that conversation. Especially seeing as they’ll run almost indefinitely, don’t require the same maintenance as the Staccato, and are usually around $600 less than this model (comparing to a TS Orange).

I just got mine today!! Im about to break it in!! Im excited!! Sleeping on the couch for 2 weeks but I got a Staccato C2!!! Boom!!!
"why I waited so long?" Same reason that everyone else waited. Money.
Honestly you have sold me on this more than any other 20-30 minute video. Thanks for the input and advice, in my case.

Paid for my P OR yesterday, picking it up at my local ffl in two days. Big thanks to the outpost armory for being a premier staccato dealer.
I have a Staccato XC and I love it to death! People always think it’s overpriced until they shoot it. Then they change their tune real quick.
Still yet to shoot one!
EDC the XC?

picked up a P DPO threaded barrel saturday. just waiting for the damn phone call to go get her! oh shit the anticipation is killing me!

@@GunsandButterTV why? I’m debating between the two. I’d like to know your thoughts.
Him- “honey I’m so glad you love shooting that 2011 and can you believe it was only $500 bucks!?”
The sro and rmr plate was at 199.95 at dawson precision. I guess they change that price
It was $140 at staccato this spring when I bought one.
I just bought one last week... $249
Waiting on my C2 DUO brother that I ordered on Sept. 3. Cant wait.
Best 2500 I've spent in a while. I got the threaded barrel version...👍 cheers

Doesn't gunbroker have it readily available instead of waiting for 120 days from staccato?

Why the grip safety and a manual safety? Wouldn't one be sufficient? I know you have the C2, but would you ever use the P as your everyday carry?
Beautiful gun I have the P, C2, and ordered the XC. Which RMR are you running and a year after this video are you still loving the P?
Hello may I ask which optic plate you went with for the P?
Good job dude, get an XC💪🏻
Seriously Staccato's are joy to shoot. It wants to run fast and can put a serious dent in your ammo supply!
I wish they would stop changing the dang grip texture! I bought a 2020 Staccato P DUO last year - the 2019 & 2021 grips look and I bet feel better.
I wish they'd go back to the tree bark. But they had to trim production time and sacrificed their grips. :-(
