Honest review... I just picked up a new P with the threaded barrel and the diamond coating.. X cuts... otherwise nothing else.. I'm in love with it.. tied with my CZ Shadow 2 Orange and Wilson M1911 Supergrade as my favorite among many!
Just picked one up it definitely run’s better than the regular p even tho it’s aluminum. The comp takes care of like 30-40% recoil when the steel only shoots about 10% smoother than the aluminum without the comp. Maybe I’m a less experienced shooter but man I 100% can tell a difference.
Not sure if the decked out one is different but when I got my limited one, least what the dealer told me, the trigger pull is 2.5lb vs. The P is more 3.5 - 4lb but I could be wrong. So mine is 2.5lb or least lighter than the stock P. 🤔
Those are some great looking pistols!! Staccato on my list of ideal/dream guns to add to my just starting collection. I'm trying to get into competitive shooting and I decided to start with a Shadow Systems for my pistol. Then I learned about Staccato. Sometimes I wish I'd waited and got that, but my DR920 is doing fine for my current skills. Each match I've been placing better and better, 3rd place a few weeks ago. Hopefully I'll get a 2nd soon and then work towards giving the 1st place guy a harder challenge!! Appreciate all your great videos, and hope you have had a Merry Christmas with your family!!
Can you order the pistol with both a threaded barrel and standard stainless steel bull barrel? I don't see that option possible on the personalization menus. THanks
I just think they’re pointless and you’re paying $250-$300 or whatever it is on their site… for some holes in your slide. Does nothing in my opinion. Isn’t gonna cut noticeable weight… like you just asked.. I’m sure it would mean more dirt and dust is able to reach that custom fitted barrel inside the slide. Yes. And it’s just a waste of money to even barely see the damn barrel.
Who or what is the best company to modify a Staccato P? Lightening cuts, 2-3lb trigger, better or modified grip module, and pin the grip safety. I just wanted to take a little pole to see what everyone says.
I will take that bet…. I own them both. First Springfield was replaced under warranty. Second has been flawless, but the little things makes the Staccato better. Fit and finish is enough to to win. But it isn’t a fair comparison as I am an FFL dealer. The prodigy in about 45% of the wholesale cost. If you are talking about value for the dollar, then yes the Prodigy wins from the cost and value arena. But that is like putting a a corvette ZR1 vs a Maclean 765LT. It isn’t fair but it is still an amazing firearm. I did have some trouble with a first release but that was a manufacturer in defect. But it is not an apples to apples comparison. Modify both and the Staccato still wins but to the untrained user, they will say they feel completely different but cannot explain why. However, my gal can shoot the Prodigy better hands down. So, maybe it just comes down to the user.

@@KEV_101 the higher end CZ's are really good, and very under priced.
I honestly think that comp looks sick

Trigger pull is different also. The P limited is a 2lb trigger also the P is a 4lbish sometimes 3.7

That’s awesome man!! Competitive shooting is the most fun I’ve ever had. Keep at it and I bet you will get first place! Merry Christmas!
What holster are you using w/ your Staccato P that accommodates the DP comp?
Super-admire your shout-out and recommendation for dry-fire. I wish I burned more gunpowder, but I try to touch my pistols every day.
Love honesty I think that comp if just was half that size .
Love my XC but I probably should have bought one of these instead.
What holster are you rocking?

You must be able to as my local gun shop has one I am eying right now
Do you think the serrations make the gun less reliable as it gets dirtier? Just curious on your thoughts

Any duty holster options w/ comp?
Normally I skip past the intros, but this one was litty350
What type of belt, holsters are you using?
What holster is that?
Great all my profit from selling guns this weekend you just made my mind up😂
How do you feel about Canik the q5 and stoccoato witch on wins for flat, shooting in recoil
Just doesn’t look 👀 right 😂Threat Cadre comp looks perfect wit the staccato it flows with it that’s the direction I went wit 🤙🏽
They don’t fit up near as clean though. I was going to go that route but didn’t like the gap
Just priced out the compensator model. You’re close to XC money so I’d just go with the XC.
What’s the difference between
what does the x serrations supposed to help?
Intro 🔥🔥🔥 🤌🤌🤌
What weight recoil spring on the comp gun?
Seven lbs my man

Gatman>Batman
😎😎
Why would you void the warranty on a perfect gun!!
It’s all from the factory so it doesn’t void warranty. 😎
You can order this configuration for the P and C2 off Staccato’s official site, Staccato also sells them as their “Limited Edition” as FFLs
Sick fucking intro
Upgrades 😂😂 for the price it better update it self 😂😂
The Dawson comp is so ugly though it looks like an after thought...
I think it’s pretty cool looking but I’m a bit bias 😂
You lost me when you stared bragging .
I will put my springfield armory prodigy 4.25 against any staccato p or c anyday
Your Prodigy can’t keep up with Staccato any day.
