I always thought Christine Mcvie to be beautiful with a voice to match that beauty. Now she’s one of many pages in music history. God Bless Christine Mcvie…
I could listen to Christine sing for hours and hours. I always viewed her talent on par with her incredible CLASS. She was such a beautiful lady inside and out. I miss her.
Christine McVie, along with Ann Wilson are the (in my opinion) GOAT female rock singers. That unique deep raspy voice "You Make Lovin' Fun", for instance,. I'm not a big Fleetwood Mac fan, but Christine's voice is UNFORGETTABLE. RIP (heaven just got better)...
I was blessed to have met Christine twice. Once in her solo career and once with the Mac. She let me join the after - concert party at the hotel they stayed in St. Pete. There, the band signed my program except for Stevie who stayed in her room Christine said due to being tired. It was Christine who took me up the elevator to the floor Stevie was on and took my program for her to sign. Christine truly loved her fans and was one of the nicest people in the world. I have seen the band many times in concert but the time I got to spend with her is priceless. She is missed by so many and she loved us all as much as we all loved her. I know that for a fact.
That was a wonderful vignette of Christine's life. I used to play bass with Jeremy Spencer, one of the original members of Fleetwood Mac, so when they were in town, we'd meet them and hang out together. She was very friendly and kind. That's what I remember most about her.
I’ll never forget the first time I saw Christine with Fleetwood Mac. It was October 23,1975 in a small student union hall at a local college. I was so unbelievably impressed by the band, but being just 17, I was obviously very taken with Christine and Stevie. That night, standing just a few yards away made me a fan of the band for life. ✌🏼😎
Her voice was the most beautiful female voice I’d ever heard. Heroes Are Hard To Find, Prove Your Love To Me is my favorite song. I’ve listened a zillion times & never grow tired of it.
Christine's voice was a beautiful counterpoint to Stevie's: saw the band live several times and each time I thought it was the best concert I'd ever been to.
@@RedroomStudios If you ever find the information on that thumbnail topless photo, I would also like to know. She was always very modest but also looks like she was as gorgeous below the neck as she was above the neck.
Christine Anne Perfekt McVie You Are The Most Beautiful Sweet Songbird ❤️❤️🙏🙏 And Christine You Left A Beautiful Sweet Legacy 💕💕🙏🙏 Your Awesome Beautiful Sweet Muzik Will Live On ! From the first time I heard her voice I just loved her natural talent. I did not know she wrote so mahy songs. Also how devoted she was. So when she would write about heartbreak it wasnt from just hearing about it. It was from her own heart these songs had come .Thanks so much. What a great band she would helm on through the years.
I watched this with mixed emotions. I was fortunate to look up when she sat across from me in a Hotel lobby in the late '90's. I didn't know who she was until about 30 minutes into our conversation. We spent about 90 minutes just talking. It ended with a hug and best wishes on both our parts. So many thoughts and so many feelings, I guess neither of us ever found the love we needed. RIP Christine
My first memory of Christine was when she released "When You Say" as Christine Perfect. An outstanding vocal performance and a beautiful song. The flip, "No Road Is The Right Road" was more rock and made the single a worthwhile addition to my collection. When she joined Fleetwood Mac, it is no wonder that the band did so well and became so iconic. Christine's songs were just awesome, my favourites being, "Say You Love Me" and "Everywhere". The talent Christine had was sublime. She will be dearly missed. R.I.P Christine - you were a real legend and the greatest of all time.
The band took a while to recover from Peter Green’s “ultimate drop out” . Listening to the version of “When You Say” on album Then Play On will introduce you to the mentor who helped Christine become the giant of latter years .🩵
What an absolute unique voice she had. There will never be another like her. Songbird was absolutely Christine's, and what a rormance filled tune..... My generation is absolutely the luckiest to have grown up in the 1970's. I think great music has the most mpact on teenagers, and we had the greatest. Christine was one of the many who shined like the North star on a clear night. It's a little heart wrenching to know she's gone forever. Thanks, Christine.... I love you.
I first heard Christine when I was overdosed on hormones as a 19-year-old and heard "Spare Me a Little of Your Love" from the Bare Trees album during the Bob Welch days of Fleetwood Mac. Her voice captivated me, and I became a lifelong fan. RIP Christine, you gave me something to dream about.
She was 79 yrs old when she passed away. Not 72 yrs old. Her time away from Fleetwood Mac wasn't entirely afraid of flying. She also suffered from alcoholism and spent time getting well.
I saw Christine with Fleetwood Mac in the fall of 1975 in Bham Alabama.I was down next to the stage looking right up at Christine. She was wonderful her musical qualities an stage presence was magnificent,I can't believe she's gone. Love Ya Christine U were the BEST.
She was hands down my favorite in the band. Beautiful, talented and always came across to me as the level headed one. Without her it’s not the same. She would be on my list to bring back to life if I could.
I did see her; but to me, the records were the best. She was shy, sort of standing behind the piano, at the time didn't stand out much. It was at a local college in NJ, that's where I first got into them. In NJ, you got all the best records & sheet music, it was a hub because of NY.
Her music was just the best!! Loved her in Fleetwood Mac she helped make that band!! I was so devasted by her passing!! Rest in peace Christine you will be missed by the band and all of us your fans!!!😍
Whoever put the fake photo on this video cover photo needs to be kicked off. I'm not allowed to post what I really feel and you get away with showing a cgi photo of Christine half nude. Shame
I don't even recall Chris posing for anything so revealing not to mention that the pic looks fake.. at least show alittle respect for Chris because she was a very talented Musician not to mention Also a Singer and Song Writer and a very nice person in real life too.
Stevie, Lindsay, and Mick always got the lions share of the attention. But I think that Christine was really the glue that held everything together. And she was never out looking for praise like some of the others. Just extremely talented and very humble. No way that Fleetwood Mac can go on without her.
Wow! I made that glue comment in the first minute of the video, before I actually heard him say it. I guess I'm not the only one that saw her that way.
Christine was an incredible singer artist and a beautiful woman so sad she departed her earthly life alone hard to picture thanks for the music and giving yourself to the world love you honey 💝
@tudormiller887 I always believed Christine was the top star and most talented of the Fleetwood Mac group with Stevie a very close second. Lindsay, I could take him or not even though he is a highly talented guitarist.
She had an enduring friendship with Stevie nicks. They would always consider each other friends because they had been through something together that only they could understand Eventually they would not be close because they were living different lives but the love and respect never died. I have a relationship like that with one of my sisters. And I accept that’s the way it is going to be and I don’t admire her any less. I don’t always hear from her during major events in my life, like when our parents are sick, but I shrug my shoulders. She was the first to Facebook me when Christine mcvie died. She was never a fan of that music but she knew what it meant to me. And I treasure that memory. Christine brought healing to my family without ever knowing it
She was simply an amazing women that no one really knew until later in life too bad because we missed out on a beautiful soul and someone who could have helped many. Miss her RIP ms beautiful lady!!🙏💜🦋
Are you for real?? “No one really knew about”.. Just because you didn’t know about Christine, that doesn’t mean she wasn’t known about. Christine was extremely popular and well known amongst music industry executives, producers, musicians and fans from around the world. 🌎
As an FM radio DJ in the ‘70s, I first heard Christine in Chicken Shack. Liked her voice and loved her ability at musical hooks and discipline to know how to not need to overplay, to show off her chops.
I saw Fleetwood Mac in 1970 I think it was at Pirates World in Dania Florida. I saw them again on the "Return Tour" for Christine in Phoenix Arizona a few years ago. Both were excellent concerts. I always loved her voice. Another very sad loss for music and the world. Thank You
She's the one singer of any gender that I'll hear at least once a day. I love her vocals ..she could rock n she could roll smoothly. We ve lost a giant.

I would hope in the future, when you do these doc's., you keep in mind it's ABOUT the person your featuring and not showing so much of other people WHO were Not!! Example: YOU showed SOO MUCH of Stevie, IT WAS a bit annoying. I get you showed FM, THAT Was part of CM; but not constantly showing other people who Were Not the one being featured. Nothing against Stevie; I adore her as well. BUT it should have been more cm's., pic's than ANYONE! Just Saying... Good doc., But she was underrated and overshadowed in FM.. RIP,CM,we love and appreciate you, and we miss you ALOT. I'm sure your voice is being heard to wherever you are flying!!
Love Chicken Shack! In fact I have a vinyl 45 copy of "I'd Rather Go Blind"!! R.I.P. Christine. You are one of my very favorite musicians. Such a "perfect" voice. In addition, there are a lot of great albums prior to "Rumours" that feature her singing skills. Check out "Show Me a Smile" on the 1971 "Future Games" album.
I loved Christine mcvie since a kid. I grew with her and Fleetwood Mac and they became my them band for my life. Until Nov 30 2022. The singer stop living. But she will live on forever in my head and heart 😢. All I need is a sugar daddy to my friend.....
Honestly? The ONLY REASON I EVEN started listening to Fleetwood-Mac,was due to the songs where Christine is lead singer on them!!! I always thought she was such a BEAUTIFUL,intelligent lady back in the 80's and her voice was a beautiful one as well! I was very sad to hear of her passing!!! RIP Christine!!! You'll always be remembered by me!!! : >)
I always liked the song Tell Me Lies by Christine, which I still often play - I did know Christine;s mother was a Medium and often attended Spiritualist meeting.
We lost a soul performer to Fleetwood Mac.( The most important beautiful band to me ) RIP my darling Christi .Your soul and spirit will be forever in our souls. Thank you for your beautiful music.RIP
Hey TB you really need to do a repeat of the start of the video. I mean thanks for making it. I would have liked to see you giving her more than - making Cristine out as a recluse. Would't be on mine. pssss
Yeah she died at 79, I do have some memories I recall seeing Chris on the dance tour. then the reunions back in 2013 my wife and I went to New York on The today show followed two shows in Boston and Las Vegas in 2013 -14 with the most famous lineup on that tour then we followed up with three more shows on the tour In 2018-19 with mike Campbell and Neil Finn. Boston Las Vegas and Louisville. And of course the Buckingham Mcvie tour we went in Cleveland & Boston
Christine has always been the link between the band members. She was the most complete soul of the band. Both musically and personally.🇧🇷
RIP Christine! Thanks for sharing your talent with all of us!😍
I always thought Christine Mcvie to be beautiful with a voice to match that beauty. Now she’s one of many pages in music history. God Bless Christine Mcvie…
She was hot but standing next to Stevie Nicks will make anyone look bad by comparison

Just to say Christine had one hell of a voice, Her and Stevie really compliment each other Awesome
A beautiful woman with an incredible voice... aged like fine wine, more beautiful as she got older. Truly the voice of Fleetwood Mac.
She was a beautiful lady, a great musician, songwriter and performer, and the best part of Fleetwood Mac.
What an absolute unique voice she had. There will never be another like her. Songbird was absolutely Christine's, and what a rormance filled tune..... Christine was 79 when she passed, not 72.
Absolutely; at the beginning of the clip it's stated she was born 1943, so how in hell would she have been 72 in 2022.
Christine had the voice of an Angel and the brain of a Goddess. She WAS THE VERY BEST. XXXX RIP
I think Christine stayed on because she was so loved by her fans. If there was any level of lasting happiness, it was all of us.❤️

Correction folks - CM was not an "Amercian singer", she was English. Also, she did not die at age 72, but rather age 79 please fact check

Her voice was beautiful

She was awesome.....RIP Christine and thank you.
She was 79. Today would have been her 80th birthday ❤️❤️💔💔

Rather a sad story. Back in the festival seating era, we'd stand in line 10 hours before the doors opened. RIP Christine. We all love you!

I remember being so stunned by her and wanting to marry her as a kid in the 70s I thought she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen or heard
GAFF: During the VO he refers to her as an 'American singer'. She's British.
ONE OF THE GREATEST VOICES AND SONGWRITER EVER,SO UNDERRATED BUT VALUED BY HER bAND mEMBERS____

A great video, and a great talent,
Loved all her music god bless her
SHE WAS THE BEST VOICE OF FLEETWOOD MAC!

We lost a soul performer to Fleetwood Mac.( The most important beautiful band to me ) RIP my darling Christi .Your soul and spirit will be forever in our souls. Thank you for your beautiful music.RIP
Why do they trash this poor girl after she is dead? Shameful, let her rest in peace!
or even peace.
How exactly did this video “trash” Christine??? By telling her life story good & bad isn’t trashing someone in the public eye.
Hey TB you really need to do a repeat of the start of the video. I mean thanks for making it. I would have liked to see you giving her more than - making Cristine out as a recluse. Would't be on mine. pssss
I can't believe you didn't mention Dennis Wilson Christine and Dennis were together for a while in the early 80s
Although Stevie was kind of the superstar public face of the Mac (Rhiannon, etc), i always liked Christine's songs a lot, like Over My Head, etc.
@@klausrain111 they both have their depth and appeal. i also lean to Christine's songs. something melancholy about them. they just work.
