Barbara Eden is the only reason I watched I Dream of Jeanie. A beautiful, talented lady that always seemed down to earth with a good heart. 91! She is still gorgeous.
All of the beauties then, when I and many were just boys. But Barbara.....sheez. She was the one. The finest methinks of those gals. Outside of her beauty she really seemed genuinely sweet and intelligent.
She was so beautiful. But beside that I couldn't give two squats how her life turned out. Her life has no bearing on mine. I've never met her, she's not going to leave me in her will, she's not going to seek any condolence from me when she's down, nor anything of the sort. She's just another morally twisted Hollywood prevert.
Man, Barbara Eden was drop dead gorgeous (and still is in her later years) back in the “I Dream of Jeannie” days. Beautiful face, hair, eyes and a killer body. She had it all! She also comes off as an extremely nice and caring person. Sadly she had to deal with the loss of her only child for which I express my sincere condolences. I am glad to hear that she is happily married to husband #3 - she deserves it!

If you haven't seen it, and want to see something really awsome with Barbara Eden, look up the episode of the Andy Griffith show called "the manicurist". Barbara was the beautiful, young, new manicurist in Flyod's barber shop. But she couldn't get any business because the men of the town were afraid to get a manicure with her because their wives were jealous. Toward the end of the show, Andy explained to her why the people did not seem very friendly to her, despite Mayberry being a friendly town. Here's how Andy put it: "There's something that I want you to understand...I don't know whether you know this or not, but, well, nature's been good to you. I mean real real REAL good (Andy shaking his head on the last "real", as he was apt to do when emphasizing something)." He continued, "I can't remember when I've seen nature spend so much time on any one person. What I'm trying to tell you that being as pretty as you are and as unattached as you are, you can be a pretty worrisome thing to other married women." So, that was it...I had to laugh out loud, since I totally agreed with him, and always thought that was a perfect way to describe Barbara Eden's beauty, while being a funny moment too. And she was so sweet and humble.
What a beautiful woman she was. I was a kid and when seeing and hearing her voice it prompted and immediate entry into puberty. If you know what I mean.
I grew up watching her as Jeannie. She portrayed herself as a loyal and loving person. She was on a Aircraft Carrier with Bob Hope USO tour. ( there is a You Tube video of her dancing on the Carrier deck. I think she was in her mid or late 50's yet her looks look like 30's age. She was also on Mayberry show ( the video here shows her coming off the Buss). All the men in town were breathless.
Since 1983, Barbara Eden has met Jon Eicholtz, a very close friend of hers. They met each other at the 1981-1982 Emmy Awards for the first time and since 1992, they're happily married.
