You may remember her from a prior video when she first toured the property, asking a lot of great questions about the development that was to come. And now, her home was the first one ready and she has been living on the property now for just under 3 weeks. While she still is unpacking and moving in and figuring out her home and how she wants things, she let us in on what its been like to live in a tiny home community like The Cottages at Pine Lake, outside Huntsville, AL - Thanks Mary!

If I lived there, I would help lovely Mary rehang her curtains. They have been put up inside out on the ends. Please tell her to fold them the other direction and they will hang properly and much more attractively in her little cottage.🥰

I am praying with the staff cut at ITH that my RJO will not be put on hold… I am ready to leave Texas and start the next chapter of my life in Alabama.

Are you saying that you have talked to ITH and they told you that you can’t get your Home? Seems like a pile on and talk so public on websites. Why not just contact them and work out your business. Sounds like people calling “ Fire”. I am sure you will get your home. I just feel so sad to see how some very evil people set out to destroy those people. The main women that started it is dropping her comments on this channel. Social media can really upset people. You will love Pine Lakes. I have many relatives all around that country and nearby counties. You will enjoy the people native Alabama people. Tour Bankhead Mts. In the distance. It’s beautiful. Sorry u got caught up in the Trolls and some vendictive people at ITH that were determined to take down ITH. One worker & his wife have done it constantly because they were fired. ( things were done against ITH & Randy that was wrong). It was War after that against Randy. So sad. So don’t get caught up in hate etc. There are always two sides to stories. But the social media piled on the small town company. Snow balled from sneaky people. Be prepared for red clay dirt in Alabama. You have to wash clothes in a different way. Not being negative. It’s just the way it is. Every State, Area have things ya have to deal with. Baking soda, 20 Mule Team, White Vinegar will help on wash. 🙏🏼❤️.

Can the property owner put wooden fences to separate the houses ,giving the tiny house owners they privacy

No geese, or you won’t be able to leave your tiny home, lol! Ours on our farm, enjoyed the squawk and chase! 😱

It’s really up to the residents. We have Canadian geese & herons that fly in, even had a bald eagle come by one day. There’s already talk of chickens, which I hear can be easier to work with than ducks… but fresh protein in the form of eggs! :)
Hans are you the sole property owner with no partners ?
So the question I have. Rain. Tornadoes, any really bad storms you've had in years and years, any floods. I live in zephryhills, Florida. We don't get any floods, maybe 10 years I'm, we're very blessed.We never had any tornadoes hit here but are you very concerned about underwater floods.
This property is sort of on the lower end of a hill (foothills of Appalachian mountain range start here), so the land adjacent is quite a bit lower (15 feet lower?), a big open field. Even the 100 year flood projections show this property won’t flood (the land around it would though). Hope that helps!
The first video i saw of Marh tiny home, is that the bathroom area is small ,can she add about three to four feet out on the window of the bathroom, with that space of addition she can move the washing machine to that area, also she can put a small cupboard for her brooms etc and a closet to hang her going out clothes
The hitch is there, so you can't extend the home, that far or that wide, from the bathroom without impeding her ability to turn the home, should she ever want to move it.

Did you tie you tiny home down?
No that’s up to the home owner. Some insurance companies are funny about that and/or how it’s done for liability purposes. But yes you can have your home tied down
Will Amazon deliver there? So maybe you can get Amazon Fresh? Or some other food delivery service? I guess no pizza, right? Lol
Yes, Amazon had already delivered the first package via UPS to a resident within days of moving in 👍 The delivery service will just need the gate code (UPS & FedEx drivers will already have code; USPS also)

How long is the special going on where the key money is 10,000? Could someone give that money just to hold a lot until you could one could purchase a house?
First come, first served. Once they’ll key money is paid for then, they’ll be gone. That key money is non refundable as it goes right into the development so if you didn’t have a home lined up with a builder, you would only have a certain period of time before lot rent would begin accruing and be due. We want to make sure the lots have tiny homes on them within a reasonable period of time, not tied up for years with no home or lot rent being paid (there are property expenses that lot rent needs to cover). No, his company builds the tiny homes. Hans owns and is developing the property.
He does not. This is a private property my company GoTinyBeFree is developing. Many people have purchased homes from Randy & ITH to live in on this property

I ordered the same home as Mary. How long is it taking to get your tiny home RJO With them cutting staff. Any one no how long it's taking.
They just cut cut their staff. I would figure it's going to take two thirds longer (like if they had said 3 months, figure on 9 months). They only have 20 people to build metal panel homes now.
Randy says the timeframe hasn’t changed, of course hard to know exact dates. Last I heard they were saying 5 months out from time of order or so but that was several weeks ago. I would add on some time just to be on the safe side
@@reynetallents it's not taking any longer to build and get their homes out. they cut staff because sales are starting to slow down for all businesses and they had more staff than orders to fulfill. Randy and Amanda just did a video to explain all of that. if at any time they need to rehire or sub out to a contractor to get something out on time they probably will. I am so impressed with ITH. I am hoping to maybe get an Amanda model or the Birmingham model to place in a tiny home community just outside Austin. I love the area where Hans is developing but my children live in Texas and I want to be closer to them otherwise I would be going to be Mary's neighbor.
@@dorapermenter6105 think u are right. It’s so sad that all these professional commentators with such gang bang negative made up comments. That is what has happened to ITH. The couple of women from Out West ( Randy went way overboard to help one) united to take ITH down. About a year ago there were about 25 that threatened, made comments to upset people on property. It was horrible. These same people” types” change their names and go on any channel they can get on or on comments made by people living at ITH. They were so ugly nasty at first most ITH followers backed them down. Then they changed strategies by saying innocent, I don’t understand, etc. Then they undermine every thing they can. They bully people that speak back to them. ( they go to those people FB accounts etc. That way it doesn’t show up on Randy’s website. These are some really bad people. Unfortunately one of Randy’s employees is one of the constant organizers of campaign “ to get Randy”, a one other trouble maker couple that live on property. That couple have dark background of political party in Idaho. The guy was a state representative. He was asked to Leave. Scandle type people. It’s just upset some nice people at ITH. Still many people that love their Homes and have not been influenced by all negative publicity. Hans is such a nice person and is really going extra mile to make his dream a business be successful. Just like Randy did for his Dream. Construction is a rough business & some Rough types locally were hired a they are trying to sabotage ITH ( Randy). Sorry, I am venting. I have friends living there and the bad stuff is gossip. Covid, rough mountain rock, etc. has caused setbacks in building time. That has been main holdback in everything. Ripple effect. Good Luck in your future Tiny Home Endeavor. We bought 2 Homes for our Lake property for relatives, friends to come ski, fish, etc. It’s been great for us because we would not have afforded it any other way.
