    Do not put the chickens on the Septic drain field line, even in a tractor coop for a short time. A small coop with a covered run dedicated to just the chickens, you'll be able to have fresh compost for your gardens all year round with my design.

      I agree! I love this property and Hans' vision, but those are too close to one another. Disappointing. 😞 From what I understand they all paid the same amount of buy-in money for the lots?

      ​​@@Stacey721those lots in the woods are longer than they are wide, due to leaving up as many trees as possible, according to Hans. They have an actual backyard, unlike the lake lots. I've gone there in person to look around, and they aren't as close as they look on video.
      I've spoken to several Residents who live in the wooded section, they're very happy with their homesites and neighbors.

      Also, Phase 1 lots were a lot less than phase 2 lots but all great lots just not on the lake. It’s coming together so well!

    I think the cottage reconfigured for your place, putting the bay window on one side, turning house sideways, that way from every angle you can view the lake..

      There’s really no bad view on the property, it’s a great location. Some have added larger picture windows to a side, I think it looks great. More light the better in my opinion

    I hope you are going to clean up the lake some more. It kinda looks trashy. Clean it out some more and fill it with catfish and brim. Get your aerator going and then it would be perfect.

      Once phase 2 lake lots are gone the plan is to open and begin developing phase 3 in the forest on the east side of the property

    Hans towards the end of the video, where Jim was saying land of lakes area, will there be any spaces past that last lot available, meaning will there be spaces around the whole lake?

      Not the whole lake, but phase 4 is planned for the northwest corner. Not a lot of space there so will only be for smaller homes likely. No homes along southwest side, too narrow

      There's Northeast Alabama Health Services (medical clinic) and Woodville Health Center right in town a few minutes away.
      The nearest Major Hospitals are 25-30 minutes away in Huntsville (Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children with 4.7 rating, and Crestwood Medical Center with an Emergency room with a 4.6 rating).

      No Hans changed that to accepting any tiny home builder for homes there.
      You just have to get with Hans, sending pictures of it..

    I wish I were a handyman- it would be perfect to work and live there! We could definitely keep them busy- I know I need a lot of things done.

      @gotinybefree what is the "key" money for? Does go toward owning the lot? Who pays the property taxes?

      @@traceysnyder1425 The key money helps pays for the infrastructure, and the amenities, as he gets more people move in, plus it helps keep rent low. Developing this land cost way more than the key money.

      @@angelalakes If they did 2 shifts a day, they could get 6 done in a week, that's doubles from what they are doing. But now they don't have enough workers to do that.

      With $20 million dollars of customer paid for in full deposits that were diverted out of ITH by the owner, they will never be finishing those builds. Nothing left but a skeleton crew building the cheaper panel homes. The larger homes and container homes are never mentioned any longer.

      They're going to be all up front, separated from the Resident homes by a locked key code gate. Nothing to worry about. Gives visitors someplace to stay.

      To be honest, it’s very confusing. Lake lots are not supposed to be air bnb, however Jim’s home will be on the lake. He was surprised he got a lake lot too.
      Another odd thing is that why would Jim be surprised when key money for lake lots were significantly higher than the non-lake lots.
      Maybe the web site is clearer. Every time I watch a video, it’s consistently unclear.

      Let me try to clarify. Phase 2 are the lots on north, east, and south sides of the lake; that includes the Airbnb section on the south side. (Thats just how it was broken up for development purposes) I think Jim just misspoke when talking about his lot, as it was his first physical visit to the property and seeing his home and lot. His home is on the border of the Airbnb & long term sections. Once the fence is in it will be pretty clear (because you’ll need a code or clicker to get on the other side). Hope that helps! Sorry for the confusion
