i feel like casey is one of the few examples of someone achieving the american dream. man went from cleaning dishes for nothing in the middle of nowhere, connecticut, to going from living in NYC to LA and back while amasing huge amounts of fans and wealth. its really inspiring
And has a beautiful family!! Seems to be a great father that’s present in his children’s life. I believe that’s probably the biggest achievement given his opportunities that he so desperately worked hard for! I know it’s not easy and anyone that has a family with kids and a full time job/career.

The midtown views are the best. You feel like you are still in the city. Downtown is just so separate from the other tall buildings that you might as well be in a plane. Also: weird NYC bathrooms are a thing that should be a coffee table book (feel free to steal the idea, folks) - not just the high-up ones, but the weird, cramped ones shoved into corners of bars that had nowhere else to put them..
I think a housing crash will happen because all those people who bought homes over asking price, although it was at a low interest rate, they are over their heads. They have no equity if the housing prices continue to go down, and if for whatever reason they cannot afford the house anymore and it goes into foreclosure because even if they try to sell, they will not make any money. I think this will happen to a lot of people especially with the massive layoff predicted for the future and the cost of living rising at a high speed.

I’ve been in the summit one Vanderbilt three times already and I luv it. I think, this one is the best rooftop/Deck. Its location is ideal, providing true 360 degrees views. But it's much more than that. They created a unique experience, which is just phenomenal. Thanks for sharing Casey🗽

I went to the Summit many months ago, and it was a multifaceted experience to say the least. That bathroom reminds me of the bathrooms at the Shard in London, where the private stalls also have a floor-to-ceiling window with a view of the City of London below.
Same, I went to Summit One last Christmas and it was good but in my opinion way too crowded. Influencers and celebrities can promote it and it looks unreal because they have the whole place to themselves (like being able to stand for 5 minutes in the levitation cube) when in reality, it's not the same experience as a tourist. Still a great experience though!

It was nice to watch this as we have just recently come back from New York City. It was our first visit and one we won't forget. We went to the Summit one building and it was a great experience.
What is the quality of watching C ride around and visit a view point? Hardly educational. We have Cody, Ben Eater, and lots of quality educational vids that beat this low content vid.
You said exactly what I was thinking lol. I have been living here for over a decade and am currently trying to leave. I am still and will probably always be in love with the "idea" of New York, but not with my experience in it any more. Don't get me wrong I have my moments where I really enjoy being here and it is usually simple things like walking around the city. But to really experience all that it has to offer you need to make A LOT of money. Casey deserves his success but he has access that 99.999% of us don't have...keys to the city if you will. It's a theme park of interesting and fascinating things to do and see but you need free time and money and most of us don't have much of either.

You said exactly what I was thinking lol. I have been living here for over a decade and am currently trying to leave. I am still and will probably always be in love with the "idea" of New York, but not with my experience in it any more. Don't get me wrong I have my moments where I really enjoy being here and it is usually simple things like walking around the city. But to really experience all that it has to offer you need to make A LOT of money. Casey deserves his success but he has access that 99.999% of us don't have...keys to the city if you will. It's a theme park of interesting and fascinating things to do and see but you need free time and money and most of us don't have much of either.
You are the best storyteller Casey; a true inspiration. Lots of love from Bangalore, India. Hope to spot you on a skateboard someday on the streets of New York. Welcome back!

We are from Bangalore, India. Diametrically opposite to NYC. And yet, sometimes, we feel as close to NYC as much as we do towards Bangalore. All thanks to Casey. Hope we get at-least a fraction of his storytelling skills someday. Every city needs a Casey Neistat. Love from India ❤❤❤
