This is Awesome. Great Job. After a few upgrades on my wpl and i had to get a fishing tackle box to hold all my extra parts. LOVE IT. don't take long to have extra parts. hehe

Once upon a time, Tractor Supply had these 20 drawer parts bin things. They stand about 18 inches, maybe 20 inches wide. I've filled two of those since I've gotten into this. I have three separate cases for all things 24 scale. One of those is solely dedicated to comp rigs. It gets out of hand. I really should downsize! Maybe it's time for some give-a-ways?

Agreed. No bench is complete without one (or two, or three.)

Oh Harbor freight has the Alligator clip 2 arm stand thing, some have magnify glass also. Man i love it. It's like having a third hand.

I do have one of those - all the way downstair in the basement - as well as a gooseneck one on my solder station. I'm just lazy!

good fix...have you tried the DLUX SUPER8 SHAFTS?...Also would a tiny bit of ca glue stop the brass sleeve coming off?

Thanks! Hope it helps somebody out there. Re: DLux - I have a set of their shorter shafts for some old stock-width Treal axles but that's it. They were sold out last I looked.

OK, so I posted a link earlier but it seems YT won't allow it and took down my comment. This is for you and anyone else looking to do this DIY fix. If you Google 0.95mm pins, you'll get several links to Amazon sales. The first one I got was "uxcell 100 Pcs 0.95mm x 15.8mm Parallel Dowel Pins Fasten Elements" which are in stainless steel. Maybe you can add this to your description, not sure how that works, but I hope this helps. Cheers!

Bugs the sh** out of me that YT does that. I've been bitten by that before too. Thanks for the heads up! I did find what you found and I will add it to the description. Thanks!

Is this about the V2, i thought have fixed the issues ? I have one set but havent ran them a lot so far. Even bought two spares.

Honestly, I don't keep up with it. I think for anyone who bought a set of ones from the Feb/March run of them should automatically get a set of upgrades sent out as a consolation for poor QC. I did order and receive the newer, more robust, set for $39 but I haven't installed them yet.

Out of stock - as everything usually is - and will be out until end of may.
The real work here is that I just didn't click to buy something; I fixed it.
