Brand new 24T Thin kerf ripping blades are going to generally out-perform the 50T combo blades. I'm really not a fan of combo blades. I do recommend trying to sharpen the Amana. I am always surprised at how dull my blades are once I finally sharpen them. I never think they are dull until I put a sharp one on.
I hear ya, but the Tenryu is a 40T general purpose blade not a 24T and the Amana is almost new. Straight out of the box both of the Amana blades never felt good. The Tenryu is so smooth. It’s a pleasure to use. 😀

@@aaronbebeau I prefer the 40T ATB blades by far over the combo blades. I've had decent luck with a few different brands.
your not comparing apple to apples. the Amana blade teeth are thicker. you need to compare two blades with same amount of teeth and same thickness.
The Amana blade hasn’t preformed well straight out of the package. Try a Tenryu and you will understand.
