Great video as always Paul. Most People probably don't realise The effort it must take to video and edit to this level.
Looking forward to the next one 👍
Yes, editing is a big job. About one hour for each minute of finished video. I'm glad you liked it and thank you for watching.
Another cracking job Paul
Good to see you again. Thanks for watching.
Wonderful work Paul.
Thank you.
Hi Paul fantastic as usual
I'm glad you enjoyed it 😁
Great video Paul
The only thing I do differently with the red algae is brush a bit of sodium hydroxide or household bleach on it first with brush and bucket or wfp as it contains hydroxide and that removes the protective coating the algae produces allowing the hypo to then penetrate better which removes the red algae lot easier
Only needs a few minutes to work but makes a big difference I reckon
Keep up the great work
I do this as a business and have still subbed
Watch these vids in the evening after a day of doing the job
I need to get a life😂
Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a go.
Another great video Paul
Thanks Neil, I'm glad you enjoyed it

@@jetreadyuk your very welcome pal👍
It will get mucky again ...
British weather 😢
BTW;great job Paul
It should stay clean for a while. But yes, I will probably need to do it again sooner or later.
Great video yet again Paul, would you use SH on a similar job but the house is half brick half vertical tile of wetting the bushes and leadwork?
Got to be careful with the lead. On this job I only used bio near the lead,. no hypo.
Its a great video .. could be used to teach others how to present a video ( probably will be taken as a template ).. because you covered all of the boxes. about. how. and especially about caution and safety. regarding chemicals.. Maybe you need a separate softwash water /chemical tank and pump built into the van. for. more effective usage. Dont forget about surfactant . for helping the chemicals cling to the vertical surfaces but who am i. to tell you.. Very convincing and trustworthy promotion. as good as it gets ...
Your feedback is most welcome and I appreciate your comments. Thank you for watching.
This is really good Paul, what sort of mix are you using on render for the hypo, usual 1:4? Great job.
Much less than 1:4. Have a browse through the comments for this video. I answered a similar question in some detail. Thanks for watching. Like and subscribe 😃
Hi ya Paul love the work what the rough cost of 3 sided house ...
It depends on the overall size. A typical semi would be in the region of £750.
Fantastic job Paul what spraying nozzle are you using for the end of your wfp .
It's one I was given on the Pureseal Module 1 training course. It looks 3D printed. I'm not sure of the brand. Thanks for watching.
Great informative video. With the waterfed brush what jets do you use? Pencil or fanjets?
Fanjet. I don't think it matters though.
Hi Paul, great job m8, so once you applied the biocide, how long before the growth come back ?
I'm new to render cleaning so I'm still finding my way. When applied to patios I'm finding it is good for 12 months or so. But that's at a lower concentration that can be used for walls and roofs. I'm coming to realise that regular soft washing is probably better than pressure washing.
@@jetreadyuk softwashing is the future cleaning , we Softwash nearly everything 👍
Super job how much do you charge for a job like that ?? Do you cover Lancashire area
I'm glad you liked the video. Please contact me via email at paul@jetready.co.uk for pricing enquiries
Did you say biocide as the other chem?
Hi Paul
When you're applying the hypo or biocide what are you using to pump it when using the handheld sprayer on the lower part of the walls..thanks
I'm down streaming from my pressure washer.
Do you have a min price per job or do you charge per meter square
I have a minimum price of £145. I prefer square meter pricing for driveways, patios and decking. This keeps it simple and customers like it too. As for render cleaning and roofs, I'm still finding my way to be honest. Mainly quoting on a time and materials basis at the moment.
Thank you your videos are a great help I’m thinking of adding this service to my business it’s 7 to 10 pound per meter for render in London
hi how much to a gardiner backpack thanks
They hold 21 litres
@@jetreadyuk sorry ment how much hypo to 21 litre
@@timrutland9711 3 litres if 15% hypo
@@jetreadyuk thank you
What was the chemical ratio’s for this job Paul
The final mix was about 2% for both the SH and the DDAC. A Gardiner backpack as a capacity of 22L. Assuming the backpack is filled to about 21L, the ratios work roughly out as follows;
14/15% SH concentrate. Let's say it's 14%.
Mix at a ratio of 1:6 (so 7 units total). 14% / 7 = 2%.
Put another way, add 3L SH to the backpack and then top up with water, but not quite to the top.
50% DDAC concentrate.
Mix at a ratio of 1:24 (so 25 units total). 50% / 25 = 2%.
Put another way, add about 850ml of DDAC to the backpack and then top up with water, but not quite to the top.
Important Note: This ratio is for roofs and walls. Ground surfaces should be mixed at half this concentration, or 1:50
Method: Half fill the backpack with water, then add the chemical concentrate and then add the remaining water. This will ensure the solution is properly mixed. Avoid using high pressure water when filling the backpack to prevent the mixture foaming up.
As when measuring anything, a small margin of error is to be expected, so the the calculations above are intended only as a guide.
Always read the label and consider enrolling for a professional training course. Always use PPE.
That’s why your the expert Paul, keep up the good videos
Brilliant video
Amazing results! Can this be done on painted smooth render that is showing similar growth - and has probably been painted without cleaning?
Yep.
