The fact there is no change in volume up or down when it’s engaged or disengaged is huge. One of the most annoying things about photo-optical effects like a Vibe or Tremolo is that volume weirdness. This is the first one I’ve heard that keeps those notes crystal clear when it’s engaged - AND it plays nice with fuzz boxes. Excellent review.
How did this not win an Academy Award! Oh my god my blood pressure is so high right now! I am outraged!! OUTRAGED! This video had everything. I laughed.... I cried ....I learned a little Italian...what more do you want!
Great demo, I think you've convinced me. I've checked out every other vibe mentioned in the comments and can't hear anything better than what you've produced here. Thanks for aiding me in my quest
I went through my own very expensive Univibe clone journey too. I'm sure this is good, but you get to a certain point and they're all good with slight variations in frequencies. Me, I settled on an MJM 60s Vibe. Same photocell, light, etc. It's a fantastic vibe too.
I was looking for the uni vibe to melt my brain and perhaps it was your sound and playing but I ordered one immediately after watching this. It has the perfect throb I think!
I can tell you that your video convinced me to buy this pedal and I don't regret it. It's the first univibe I've ever owned and I don't believe I'll ever buy another one. It's just beautiful 👍
Another great post Buddy! The Formula B seems to cover all the bases the other Univibe clones miss. I knew the wait for this post would be worth it. Your Italian is better than my Lebanese!

Yes!!! I couldn't wait for this vid, so I bought one after your recommendation and it does not disappoint!!! Currently absolutely loving a slow vibe speed into the Protein 🤤
Hi, really enjoyed your video - great sound, great playing and some added humour to boot! The Vintage Vibe sounds great and with the option of 2 speeds is versatile too. Does it have option for expression pedal out? I have the Effectrode Tube Vibe which has a more subtle 'throb' but the sound from the tubes is lovely and warm.
Carl Martin purple moon V1 was quite a bit a similar product, and they threw in a fuzz face in the circuit (if you want mix both) . The V2 there's only 1 vibe instead of 2. Have you tried one of those? the price point is way different.

I found that it's one of those effects where you need to go all in, - or not waste the effort. You need the original design. The deep pulse and throb makes it different in both modes; traditionally, Fulltone( FT were a first in many things in the States, to give credit where due) had the only credible copy, but now there's Jam, - and this.At one time, I would have jumped, but currently, I'm content finding the million or so sounds available on the Walrus Julianna and Monument, - both with expression pedal control. I'm all about creating minimal repetitive patterns, where such subtle underlying movement can add critical interest.Sometimes, it's actually surprising how little it takes to successfully carry a composition; I think it is a common mistake to add more than is needed and trash the natural flow just to be playing more. Univibe is a good exercise in restraint, - or all out excess.

Haha trust me I think I'd be rich if I stopped buying pedals and guitars and amps haha I've never tried the fulltone vibe but it is always has great reviews
Nice one Buddy! I agree, the second foot switch makes it two pedals in one. I’ve been using the MXR mini ‘Authentic Hendrix’ Univibe, which happens to be very good indeed. I am however going to buy a Vintage Vibe now as you make it sound much more authentic than the ‘Authentic’. Four are available in the UK so I’d better be quick. As an afterthought, with the way money is dripping through my fingers, by this time next year we should have identical pedalboards!😂
I'm on the hunt of a "Univibe pedal". Would this still be a good option a year later? I'm aware of other pedals that have recently hit the market, but the price ofthe Formula B is quite contained and I'm seriously considering purchasing one. Great video and awesome playing Buddy.
This video sounds great I the video. I'm not sure why some people are quick to dismiss the Fulltone Dejavibe or the VooDoo Labs Micro Vibe...both are very good sounding Univibe clones! A lot of the classic vibe sounds were after are played thru an amp cranked to breakup, which DOES make a difference in how the vibe sounds. I think that's a big part of the equation.... some vibe pedals are made for that and some arent.
