      Amazing work my friend. You've been one of my favorite RUclips teachers as I started my Journey into Unreal Engine 5 this year. Keep up the wonderful work you are doing and I wish you the best in 2023.

    I was SO intimidated by the modeling mode but you explained how to make a tori so well that I feel comfortable giving it another go. Thank you!

    Although modeling in UE5 may be primitive compared to Blender or Maya, for what I need to do its perfect and to be honest i rather enjoy the workflow of doing as much as you can in engine. Im not a huge fan of bouncing in and out of engine to complete simple shapes. My friends in the past have also told me dont waste your time modeling in UE because the toolset isnt up to par in comparison to other programs but with UE5 imo it holds its on in terms of workflow allowing me to quickly sketch out worlds all while being in engine.
    Love the video feel like I learned more about the modeling tool and will be applying what I learned to create some cool scenes thanks!

    please make a video on optimization that how so we make things disappear which are not seem in actual gameplay

    • @unfgames
      @unfgames  2 года назад +3

      In terms of visually making stuff disappear, the game already takes care of that automatically

    Is there a reason why you would create this in UE versus Blender?

    • @unfgames
      @unfgames  2 года назад +4

      Many reasons but I wouldn't say Blender is replacable for now. A lot of operations can now be made inside to make tweaks like changing the original scale, pivot point, bending modifiers, without the need of going back and forth between Blender and Unreal. This saves a lot of time in iteration mostly. But if you want to create the asset in Blender it is still much better tool for modeling today

    Texturing is too simple, far from photorealistic or scans
    need better wood texture + moss, dirt layers
    anyway content is great, keep working. Modeling tools in UE is very user friendly.

      A more complex material setup and vertex painting can help a big deal
