- While we’d all like to see a Lamborghini Huracán STO sitting in our garage, it’s one car that truly does belong on a racetrack. Now, if there was only a way to get the STO’s performance in a street-friendly ride that’s as easy to drive as it is easy on the eyes. Well, Lamborghini has granted our wishes with the Huracán Tecnica!

love that this man can throw a opening segment about a Lamborghini Huracan technica as good as he could a 1980s family sadan!! whether people agree or not this man is a legend up there with the best!!. Me being 37yrs old i remember trying to set cable reminders before dvr of when motor week came on PBS which was always a late night weekend thing if i remember right. before that it was written sticky notes reminding me. after cable reminders it was dvr which it was hard to know when the new one was on. Now its here on youtube and its so nostalgic!!
So glad John Davis is doing well and still doing an outstanding job with MotorWeek. He is a legend
He’s been on the show since late 80s I think .
@@mesropmadzharyan6727 yes, since it's debut back in 1981. He is the only one that is the original cast that is still around. Everyone else has come and gone since then.

I love that. There's something genuinely warm, familiar and cozy about it. Feels like watching a video of your own childhood.

This show is always dear to my heart because I’m a car guy.
I lived in Baltimore for three years and all I could think of was going to the Motorweek studio. Passed a number of times around the address at the end of the show(my girlfriend stayed in Owings Mills) but was sad I couldn’t meet anyone or the place. Since it’s inception, I’ve only missed 4 episodes( hurricane Katrina, which is I why I moved up there). Sorry I missed you John…

I have the 2019 Huracan in verde mantis and think it looks better with wider side air scoop intakes and more front end intact

Wunderschöne Modelle die Huracan Reihe. Noch nie vorher war ich so fasziniert von einem Auto. In meinem Umfeld bin ich die einzige, die begeistert ist. Normalerweise stehen junge Männer auf diese Supersportwagen, ich bin als Frau eine ziemliche Ausnahme. Es gibt 2 Rennfahrerinnen, die auch am Steuer dieser Autos sitzen. Von diesen Videos bekomme ich nie genug ❤❤❤❤

My local dealer in Westlake Village, California wants a $100K dealer mark up on their green one. V-10 is going away, next Huracan will be a V-8 with electric assist.
I take my Genesis GV60 to that dealership, O’Gara Coach Works. They were marking up the GV60 $10k. Great place to service, not so to purchase.
@@TheCarCrazyGuy they're probably overcharging on repair and service too.
Any mark up is a finger to the consumer and their wallet. They can only do that it you allow them to.
@@TheCarCrazyGuy My sister really wanted a GV60, but didn’t get it due to that exact markup. (She’s waiting another year or so, continuing to drive her ICE vehicle).

Yes. The C8 is kind of all over the place. I still don't know if I like it or hate it. I've seen it in dark red and white in person.
Yep keeping trunk space to please the boomer customer base ruined the aesthetics of the car.
@@TheFlyingPLiner the many creases and lines that serve no function is what ruin the car's design. It looks like a designer after drawing the design crumpled the paper then changed his mind and tried to smooth it out and forgot which lines were originally there. It's a confusing mess of unnecessary surface changes and angles... it's just UGLY.
@@rickmassey1272 The point I was trying to make is that there was no way to make the car sexy when it had to have those proportions. There's a reason no exotic cars have usable trunks, it ruins the look of the car.

Here's what I don't understand. They will offer the lamborghini avenidor SVJ roadster As the fastest most high performance model in the aventador lineup As a convertible.
And it has all the arrow package and big wing that could be offered. But yet they water down the convertible on the hurican.
Even the Turbo S911 And the fastest car they sail and it still offered in a converble.
I don't like that they put a sticker on the Front of the lamborghini technica rather than a actual metal badge.
It just makes me mad how they try to water down the street version and then the track version that looks the best they will take all of the creature comforts out. Do it like a Porsche 9 eleperiod put all of the creature comforts in the fastest model And make it a convertible without taking any of the local way from it.
