I think this video series is turning into my favorite, so far. informative enough to bring out more substance on the topic, elevating the joyful human moments Amy is really good at capturing with the locals. On top of that, Alice's professional commentary and her personality matches very well with Amy's sunny exuberance. kind of a harmonious, yin-yang duo? Anyway, the vibes are great!
Since following your channel, I have learned so much about China and its culture/cuisine. Thank you for introducing me to so much that I did not know, and opening my mind to the inaccurate assumptions I had. I am grateful, and now very much intrigued about all that China has to offer ❤
wow amazing video, both of you are so knowledgable, Alice did a great job explaining the details and techniques, actually learnt a lot. Want to have such an immersive trip.
One of the theories of the rich history of dairy in Yunnan is that when Koblai Khan (first emperor of the Yuan Dynasty) conquered the region with his troops, they also brought the practice of cheese-making. The climate of Yunnan was also conducive to cow farming, so dairy consumption has flourished.
The cultural wealth in china is on another level. I’m learning something new every time i watch your videos. Would love to taste that tea with cheese and peppercorn. That’s insane
Some points The courses of tea seemed lovely Maybe not for a traditional cheeseboard, but the cheese looks tasty. Want my room decorated with things in that dye. Thank you for the amazing video and looking forward to the ham video.
Love the Yunnan series. An eye opener indeed. Alice definitely adds a lot more perspectives to the topic. Her comments were also funny 😁 The 2 of you like complementing one another like 2 friends (oh well you’re friends from the school 😁) “Death by slow train, never happens guys” 😂
Oh random! I'm leaving Dali for Lijiang tomorrow. Unfortunately it's been a bit cloudy the last few days, but on the positive side, the way the clouds wrap around Cangshan is just beautiful.
Dali is awesome but damn the main streets are overwhelming at night. I rode a snoopy style electric acooter on the lake and it was so fun!! So many nooks and crannies where the tourists dont go. and the weather is banging and not too hot!!
Wow... Can't wait for the jamon episode next week. They look comparable to spain, italy, france ones. Kinda curious as to how they used it and the history.
So..... a pizza could, in theory at least, be made with the ingredients from this province?? Sounds like YUM! Saute the mushrooms, slightly pan fry the ham, chop both up and mix with slightly more cheese than combination of the mushrooms and ham and top on some sort of crust or crisped up glutinous rice cake. Sounds delicious!

How do you still manage to stay slim with all the food you eat. Tell me how you manage to stay slim. Have fun Blondie!!!!! I am jealous.
@@richardliu7499she has a video on that
One thing I've learned from your videos is that local Chinese people are willingness in sharings their trades and that's very inspiring!

You are in the paradise! ❤❤❤❤my lovely China, i miss you)
Was in Dali, and leijiang a couple of months ago, totally loved . Beautiful. I like how excited Amy gets when she's vloging.
This week the highlight wasn’t the food but the beautiful blue and white handicraft! :D
Ooh you should do a Chinese cheese series in Inner Mongolia, Tibet and Xinjiang too, I’m curious but it’ll be hard to find them.
Ahhh!!! Another large dose of happiness!!! Thank you dear dear Blondie!!! ❤❤❤
Absolutely fascinating as always. I loved the three tea experience.
Those tie dye products are so beautiful!

Thanks for sharing! Hope I am able to visit this beautiful place one day.
Lived in China for 6 years and I have not tried Chinese cheese yet, but I’m going to 🧀👌

Ethnic Bai here😊
Indeed Mr White.
The tie dye is incredible never knew it could be so intricate and can even make characters from it think the one at 20.08 is a pikachu.
Bro 云南大理 is definitely my number 1 vacation place in China it’s just looks so relaxing and beautiful!
Love how beautiful all those blues are!
Thank you Amy for highlighting another gem of Yunnan ❤
The way Alice looked at the camera when you were trying the cheese was gold!
blowing my mind-good place to visit, i must go to yunnan
Beautiful ladies, beautiful dali, interesting tie-die!
Wow I loved Alice on MasterChef
Beautiful place, beautiful culture, beautiful people, beautiful culinary and beautiful vloggers, what more could one ask for 😍
Some points
The courses of tea seemed lovely
Maybe not for a traditional cheeseboard, but the cheese looks tasty.
Want my room decorated with things in that dye.
Thank you for the amazing video and looking forward to the ham video.
haha. Alice's Rushan pizza. got to find myself some masterchef friends soon. never a dull moment
Glad you two had fun.
Very cool, have fun!
Fantastic episode ! I love it that you show a little bit of culture here.
Can't wait for next week, but it will be worth the wait.
16:00 that American who has a pizza shop in China is probably taking notes on that pizza!
This was such a fun episode!
Loveee this series❤
Yayy Bali is mentioned.. 👍 yet another great vlog. Your video angle is getting better and better. Hallo from Indonesia
Love the hat and bag 😍
I think fermented tofu curd (my favourite) is essentially Chinese cheese, albeit non-dairy.
Nice video, Blondie!
I'm italian and I wish to go there in the future.
不一样的视角感受了不一样的云南。虽然我生长在昆明,每年也很多次去大理,但是还真是没深入体验过你们所经历的,看完以后感觉真的是不一样的大理。视频逻辑清晰让人很容易的就融入其中,很好不错!
Wow!!! The tie dye process is so interesting. Would love to visit this part of the country one day--the bike riding seems soooo nice!
It looks delicious, I want to travel to China
Omg those dye clothings look amazing!
Amy,you are a amazing girl!❤
Love the Yunnan series. An eye opener indeed. Alice definitely adds a lot more perspectives to the topic. Her comments were also funny 😁 The 2 of you like complementing one another like 2 friends (oh well you’re friends from the school 😁)
“Death by slow train, never happens guys” 😂
I just went down a rabbit hole of regional chinese cheeses and stumbled upon your video. Good stuff.
What a beautiful place and people. I would want to buy so many of those beautiful fabrics.
So interesting! I though dairy was uncommon in East Asia because genetically many are lactose intolerant
Dairy products are relatively common in northwest China. The dairy diet in Yunnan should have been brought by Mongolians in the past.
Yunan is really a good place to stay for the rest of life! Thank you for recomending it to the world!
looks so great, I will put here on my travel list
The koi tiedye was just mindblowing!!!
I love Alice! She gives out a ‘crazy rich Asian’ character vibe 😂。
As a fellow lactose intolerant person, I admire the travels you do Amy with your intolerance.
It gives me hope that I can eat these kind of foods too!
Oh random! I'm leaving Dali for Lijiang tomorrow. Unfortunately it's been a bit cloudy the last few days, but on the positive side, the way the clouds wrap around Cangshan is just beautiful.
Amy, has your parents ever visited you in China? We need more Dad content! Your parents are awesome folks 👌
can't wait for the hammy video!
Amy and Alice are beautiful, could've brought Jasmine along, but good interesting video 😊
toufu is the way Chinese preserve the protein
3:04 this woman should have an ASMR channel. Her voice is very soothing, and she has a lovely presence.
Can’t wait for the next video! 😍🤩
Love this Yunnan series 🤍
Yeah the cheese thing in tea has me wondering how good is it. I see it on the menu at some of the boba tea places I go to also.
Dali is awesome but damn the main streets are overwhelming at night. I rode a snoopy style electric acooter on the lake and it was so fun!! So many nooks and crannies where the tourists dont go. and the weather is banging and not too hot!!
looks your vbolg entering a new level, well done
I love the guest❤
如果到了丽江,迪庆,建议试试酥油茶(两个地方风格不一样),还有酥油抄奶渣,我觉得你会喜欢哈哈
艾米和艾丽斯 so beautiful
How much the xizhou baba converges with pizza is pretty amazing, especially alongside the rubing
i love sweet xizhou baba which is wrap some rose jam inside ,gooey and sweet when it is fresh❤
Good video mate
Wow... Can't wait for the jamon episode next week.
They look comparable to spain, italy, france ones.
Kinda curious as to how they used it and the history.
Isnt this the city where the drama Meet Yourself was filmed.
Yes!
Is there a prize for fast commenters??? 😂😂
I swear to all gods, I learn more about China from Amy than I do from actually being Chinese.
So..... a pizza could, in theory at least, be made with the ingredients from this province??
