The whole time I was saying "girl, no that's how you get murdered or kidnapped or trafficked". Thankfully those men were much more helpful and kind then what I'm used to. What a nice surprise.

You are our eyes and ears an incredible Ambassador of Tourism for your beautiful country China. In my lifetime I will not be able to visit China and least of all Russia. Here you give us a glimpse of the culture and people, the food and a bit of history along the way. Funny when you said you felt blind because you don't speak Russian but with Google you did well. The man that gave you a ride speaks Russian, Chinese and Chaoxipan incredible for me to even understand and I am bilingual (English/Spanish). Yan you are so brave, please be very careful. I don't know why, but it kind of blows my mind a little that the far east of Russia looks *so* european. I'm from the far east of Germany, and we are quite heavily influenced by slavic roots. Not gonna lie, it looked kinda familiar. And then you look on a map, and it's basically the other side of the world. Russia is just so *insanely* huge, wow. That aside, I really enjoy your vidoes so much. Following along is like going on the trip with you and I love that you don't shy away from difficult situations. You are so incredibly open and it opens so many doors wherever you go. It's a pleasure to watch :)

From China's perspective, Putin always wanted to integrate into Europe in the early days of his administration (Russians consider themselves Europeans), so he made many concessions to NATO. However, NATO just wants the enemy to consolidate its position, control more people, and provide more funds to the military-industrial complex. Chinese: They think we are just doing business and no one should control each other and live their own lives. I don't know if this paragraph has been deleted again. Because 70% of comments from Chinese people will be deleted by the system

My wife came to America from Russia in 1978. We met and married in 1992. Been to Russia many times and after 32 years of marriage I am proud to say I speak Russian at the level of a village idiot. Anyway Russian is a language that requires immersion in daily life of Russians. Studying from lessons and books ect is not the easiest way. Get the basics from that then go out and speak with Russians, learn by listening and sounding silly and struggling with it. Like learning to ride a bike at some point things will click into place and it all becomes easy.
