You definitely can Eagle's growth in skill as an actor with his amazing performance in Too Many Cooks. The head turning in that scene really conveys a lot of emotions of which has never been seen in his career, Too Many Cooks may be Eagle's stepping stone to greater heights!

Matthew Kody Foster truly does an outstanding performance as Coat. His subtle, but brilliant acting seems to go wildly unappreciated. My friend showed me an episode of Too Many Cooks and I didn't even realise it was Foster as Coat. His acting is so believable and I think he deserves an award.
Actually, word on the street is that he's going to be a nominee for "Most Convincing Role in T.V. or Film" at the next award show. Mr. Foster has always been a gifted actor. He played the role of Johnny Depp's bandanna in the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie. A truly inspiring performance.

Back in 2014 I had just started my first job and had to be up every morning at 5 for work. I usually watched Malcom in the Middle, but for some reason one morning the commercial break was exceptionally long. I thought maybe some new show was airing, so i figured I’d stick it out until I had to get ready for work. The next 11 minutes of my life were transcendent. That was the first time I ever saw Too Many Cooks, and to this day I still chase the thrill of experiencing Too Many Cooks for the first time. This is pure art.

It's just that I don't think the average person will want to watch something this long. It takes a kind of 'I want to see what happens' instead of 'a mate is making me watch 10 minutes of boring but slightly disturbing stuff' and they will either not finish watching it and say it's weird and bad or skip through it, spoil it and go wtf, cringe or something similar. It goes a long way if they know AS though. My point is you have to be invested in it to appreciate it :)

This is a work of art. It really is. This is someones magnum opus. The amount of work that went into this is insane. Things to think about; How long this took to shoot, how many locations, how many actors, all the different styles of music they had to write. A whole 10 minutes of non stop insanity that took you somewhere, has continuity, has TONS of easter eggs, has an animated section. All the different animation and artwork that went into all the different logos and intros. This is just purely fucking insane. You might not like it, or find it that good, but for the love of jebus appreciate the work that went into it. WOW. JUST WOW. Watched it 3 times already.

@@Nepafarius he symbolizes the Network Executives that make suggestions that often ruin a show. When this starts out, it's obvious that it is a family sitcom. As the "killer" starts making their presence known, the show's dynamic changes from a sitcom, to an office sitcom, to 80s crime drama, to animation, etc. Eventually, all of the genres are mixed together into total chaos, and Snarf is the only thing left from the original show, whom hits the button to cancel it all together. Too many Executives changing the show = too many cooks will spoil the broth.

According to Katie Adkins every character was supposed to have their name then 'as ____ cook' but the editor was too lazy to do all of it. I believe the IMDB for this does have all their imaginary Cook names though, like the end credits do.

By starting up with no real "beginning" they start with a little suspense (trying to figure out WHY this is on at all) to the extreme tension of the girl sinking into the floor, which would be terrifying if it actually happened. The cameras were an interesting idea, I think. It's the same reason Cloverfield got a big hype: the terrible thing doesn't really get seen. The fear of the unknown is incredibly powerful in pretty much everybody, and thus, easy to exploit for artistic (and commercial) gain.

According to creator' story, that is actually happened. They've got a bunch of random people, did a quick audition and applied the roles to them. Most of these people, including the killer guy, didn't even understand what are they supposed to do, even after producers tried to explain what is going to happen in the short. Matthew Kody Foster truly does an outstanding performance as Coat. His subtle, but brilliant acting seems to go wildly unappreciated. My friend showed me an episode of Too Many Cooks and I didn't even realise it was Foster as Coat. His acting is so believable and I think he deserves an award.
Actually, word on the street is that he's going to be a nominee for "Most Convincing Role in T.V. or Film" at the next award show. Mr. Foster has always been a gifted actor. He played the role of Johnny Depp's bandanna in the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie. A truly inspiring performance.

I’ve always assumed that part in the dream is the sleep paralysis being acknowledged by our bodies while we dream. And we are actually trying to run but unable because we are sleeping.

Back in 2014 I had just started my first job and had to be up every morning at 5 for work. I usually watched Malcom in the Middle, but for some reason one morning the commercial break was exceptionally long. I thought maybe some new show was airing, so i figured I’d stick it out until I had to get ready for work. The next 11 minutes of my life were transcendent. That was the first time I ever saw Too Many Cooks, and to this day I still chase the thrill of experiencing Too Many Cooks for the first time. This is pure art.

It's just that I don't think the average person will want to watch something this long. It takes a kind of 'I want to see what happens' instead of 'a mate is making me watch 10 minutes of boring but slightly disturbing stuff' and they will either not finish watching it and say it's weird and bad or skip through it, spoil it and go wtf, cringe or something similar. It goes a long way if they know AS though.

This is a work of art. It really is. This is someones magnum opus. The amount of work that went into this is insane. Things to think about; How long this took to shoot, how many locations, how many actors, all the different styles of music they had to write. A whole 10 minutes of non stop insanity that took you somewhere, has continuity, has TONS of easter eggs, has an animated section. All the different animation and artwork that went into all the different logos and intros. This is just purely fucking insane. You might not like it, or find it that good, but for the love of jebus appreciate the work that went into it. WOW. JUST WOW. Watched it 3 times already.

As the "killer" starts making their presence known, the show's dynamic changes from a sitcom, to an office sitcom, to 80s crime drama, to animation, etc. Eventually, all of the genres are mixed together into total chaos, and Snarf is the only thing left from the original show, whom hits the button to cancel it all together. Too many Executives changing the show = too many cooks will spoil the broth.

By starting up with no real "beginning" they start with a little suspense (trying to figure out WHY this is on at all) to the extreme tension of the girl sinking into the floor, which would be terrifying if it actually happened. The cameras were an interesting idea, I think. It's the same reason Cloverfield got a big hype: the terrible thing doesn't really get seen. The fear of the unknown is incredibly powerful in pretty much everybody, and thus, easy to exploit for artistic (and commercial) gain.

That's probably why it glitches out when she breaks free of it. She basically has to break the program that's keeping her frozen in place. The serial killer is likely an expert at this, given he can move around during this and his name glitches out when he takes their roles.
Love the detail of the voice saying not to spoil the broth, and the killer being named broth, who exclusively stole cooking ingredients and cooked people.
