jhon arias is probably the most underrated player in the colombian team.
Yeah, I don't think these guys realize that Arias is the best player in Fluminese (although Cano scores more, I think Arias contributes more to the overall team), a team which was the best team of all of South America last year.
As a strong follower of Colombian soccer, one thing people miss out on in their analysis of the 'nobodies' in the Colombia squad beside Luis Diaz, is that these nobodies are very big deals in their respective teams. Crystal Palace basically always start Muñoz and Lerma, Arias is the backbone of Fluminese, Cassierra and Cordoboa are the two highest goal scorers in Russia, Vargas has already made himself a legend in Atlas, Lucumí is Bologna's wall, Sánchez is surprisingly also killing it in Galatasaray, Borja is the highest goal scorer in Argentina, Quintero is Racing Club's best player, Asprilla was Watford's best young player of the season, etc etc.
And then the players who aren't good at their clubs, like Borré, James, literally bleed for the national team.
The squad isn't perfect, players like Uribe, Mojica, Montero really shouldn't be there. But the quality of the team overall compensates for the inefficiencies of the individuals.
And I mean... a common complaint among Colombia fans is that _a lot_ of chances go to waste. We play a lot of the time without a real #9 (Borré is more of a false 9, others like Sinisterra also don't play "pure" 9, and our "pure" 9s are either unproven or underperform at the NT level), which is probably the reason why our goal scores are spread all across the team, rather than us having a "proper" goal-scorer.
Yet... as of late, that has got the job done. Which is more than what we can say about out 2022 qualifying campaign. Attacking is definitely the position at which Colombia needs the most work (which was kind of noted in this video series; we were rated 2nd/3rd best defense, 3rd/4th best midfield, and outright 4th best attack, which seems about right).
Great rundown. Totally agree
You nailed it. Uruguay has the scariest attack at this copa
Can you name the players for the Uruguay attack?
xD you must be joking, argentina and colombia have more deadly attacks
no one scoring like uruguay tho numbers dont lie
@@FranciscoGonzalez-ss3sk yea… literally the entire team is an attacker and defender 🤡
@@carlosdorado3878 Colombia and Argentina aren’t scoring goals like Uruguay. Especially Argentina. Their attack is TRASH 🗑️
Chile is WAY underrated. Bagged 2 goals against France, 5 in Europe. Canada got 0 in 2 European games. Last tough opponent they scored against was Japan, back in 2023. USA would have gotten what - 2 tops in Europe? Props for reassessing midway through your discussion. Subscribed
On talent, US is top 5
@@jonathonedwardmiller y sudafrica tiene mejores jugadores que francia 😁😁😁
Waking up to this….my favorite right wing podcast
The radical views on this podcast… love it
latinos 4 trump? lol 😂
#gaysfortrump man
No but for real who has the best Right Wing at the copa ?
@@LCLeftyArgentina that Messi Milei duo

I completely agree.
In my opinion Argentina are
1- Defence
2- Midfield
3- Attack.
You can't rely on Messi to win you every game, if the WC and that last Copa final proved anything it's that 1 guy can't be your entire attack.
If Lautaro doesn't step up(which he didn't in the friendly you played 2 days ago against Ecuador) this team is up for a heck of a slap in the final vs Uruguay
Not just Lauti, Julian too! I feel like playing out of position isn’t the best for this team. He’s more of a natural 9 in my opinion with a little more youth in his legs that Lauti. I feel like this team has been paying rent off of DiMa goals
😩Pessi 💯 fraud but angel di Maria 🐐
@@Denverfan420 Pessi is what immature traumatized Edgars use to describe the greatest of all time
only messi??? di maria, julian alvarez and now garnacho
Love this channel found it a couple of days ago, got suscribed instantly, greetings from Uruguay!
I agree with you guys for the most part but I think one aspect that was not mentioned in the top two is the fact that Argentina now is going into this tournament with confidence. My prediction is we will see an Uruguay vs Argentina final, but I think the experience that Argentina now has on their side will bring them the win in a final situation against Uruguay. Won’t be easy but Argentina now truly knows what to expect from Uruguay and I do think Scaloni is more tactful than Biesla. When there is a cup on the line, the mentality will be different than just a would cup qualifier game, especially since both these teams know they will be in the World Cup no matter what.
Lets not forget that this is the first time when vini is going into a tournament as talisman and he was undoubtedly the best player in Real Madrid. I think your going to see levels this time. Before he was a second fiddle to neymar.
top 10 attacks:
1 argentina
2 colombia
3 uruguay
4 brasil
5 venezuela
6 chile
7 ecuador
8 USA
9 etc
Accurate, except Brazil ranked too high.
Would love this seeing against Tactical Manager. Awesome stream.
I was so anxious to see this bros.😎😎❤❤
Vanilla Spice bringing the heat today
Fluminense is Copa de Libertadores champ, just to be noted. So it rakes any team this side of the ocean.
Wish they made these videos after all the friendlies were played
How do these guys not have over 50k subs
We goin slow and steady big guy 🙏
Messi is not 35 😂 , he is 37
This is the equivalent of calling out a spelling mistake or grammar error. It doesn’t matter his age anymore, his skill speaks for itself
The player that made gol for Cayman Islands 🔥
Demarai Gray has a fractured clavicle (collarbone) and will miss Copa America. Leon Bailey is still suspended for now, so he's out. It looks like we're going with Shemar Nicholson, Michail Antonio, Dujuan Richards (if healthy), and 3 promising young players (Renaldo Cephas, Kaheim Dixon, Jamal Lowe) as our attack. These are the young players that Connor talks about when Jamaica 🇯🇲 played the USA 🇺🇸 in the Nations League.
Brasil is gonna win the Copa. Everyone is underestimating them 💙💛💚
Colombia is surging. Surging. Watch the last matchup between Colombia and Uruguay (2023) Colombia was relentless on the pressure. Uruguay only scored off set pieces. Colombia is literally one of the most fluid teams on the planet to watch right now.
We got really lucky. Y’all hit the post several times and had it in the bag. But let’s see how it goes when we’re not forced to play inside a boiling pot.
The guy in white🔥woof
Love from 🇺🇾
Gracias hermano
Don’t be surprised if we see
a De La Cruz Darwin and Valverde attacking option
Number one attack Suriname
I would love a top 10 for managers
Let’s go! The wife beater brother are back!
I am surprised my Ecuador even got top 12 😂🇪🇨
That was full DeadBall tv bias on display 😂
eran top 4 de conmebol con el paton bauza, cayeron mucho con el nuevo tecnico
J. David is killing it in a 4-2-3-1 at Lille (with a 10). I thought for sure Marsch was going to play the 4-2-3-1. David needs short ground service to match his brilliant runs. Instead, we're seeing David dropping way back and running around everywhere except up top in the box. I'm still very optimistic about Canada in the Marsch era but I cannot figure out how we're not fielding a formation that caters to one of the best in form strikers in the world today. Bonkers.
We are still waiting for your Asian qualifications predictions
For me, this rankings maybe are facts but are all ifs cause in a single one-off tournament, anything can happen... just because a team has not been on great form for a number of games and not scoring goals or playing well as a team doesn't mean they won't wake up for the tournament as a team cause its still the Copa America and not the Gold Cup. An out-of-form striker can just wake up and score lots of goals for the country while an on-form striker can just score blanks for their team cause of the hype...
I will throw out there that it isn't fair to Jamaica to hold their goals to a low standard because they're against poor competition, and then praise David for goals (I only found 4 in his last 10 matches) when he's scored against Jamaica, Honduras, Panama, and Curacao. David makes waves against stronger opposition, but he still doesn't score against them, which is what matters at the end of the day. Same goes for assists and chance/space creation. Dunking on Caribbean teams doesn't mean much.
He still looked great against France, though. I feel like I'm always hating on the man and I don't mean to.
Will you do the same for the euro's?
i have uruguay winnning it. I'm from ecuador and Bielsa has a whole new scheme w uruguay.
What are your thoughts on the Jamaica coach?
As a Uruguayan I can assure you we definitely do not have the best attack, our best area is the midfield. I believe Argentina is 1st, they finally have players that mesh well with Messi up top and that is with Lautaro playing against them (man is a regen Higuain)
Some guy said USMNT could win the Euros? 😂 would they even qualify? I’m a USMNT fan but I ain’t delusional lol
I agree Uruguay 1. Maxi Araujo and Darwin have been incredible and pellistri good too but Pellistri doesn’t fully convince me. Regardless Uruguay 1
Messi (the goat), lautaro (the seria A top scorer), julian (the best st in the wc, and killing it for city even if the knee head uses him wrong) and di maria (top 5 players of the last 20 years) 🇦🇷#1
Also get the likes up for your boys. They put our legit content
After Canada drew with France 0-0 has you’re opinion changed on them or are they still the same?
Hold up… didn’t you set Messi up as a 10 in the midfield rankings? Is he multiplying now to justify your arguments?
Ill say Brazil attack is better than Arg. 🤷♂️
Yes. It should be Brazil first, then Argentina, and then Uruguay-Colombka
Canada vs France 0:0
uruguay i can only name darwin name a second striker...argentina is first they also have messi,di maria, garnacho nico gonzalez also Argentina are first in qualifying
that sounds like a you problem :D
Luis Suarez will be going to the Copa America. Hi might make a nice Darwin sub if need be I think. And before you bring up his age.... That would be a problem if he had to play the full 90 minutes, but if you bring him in with just 25 min remaining.... It's gonna be funny seeing defenders on the other team just shit themselves.
@@Pabimra85 Yeah sure, Otamendi, Romero and Lisandro Martinez are gonna "shit themselves" because they see Suarez 🥱
@@FranciscoGonzalez-ss3sk no they'll shit themselves when they see Darwin and remember trying to catch up to him last time they played him.
The verticality of Urugay is bar none
Can you give me the stat of other player of Uruguay other then Darwin? .. And I think you should look at the stat of whole forward not just striker.
Max Araujo and Pellistri has a combined 3 goals in 30 matches for Uruguay. You think that's better than Messi and di Maria? pass the smoke bro... Nunez carries Uruguay's attack. but he is shit in big games. On the contrary, we all know how good Alvarez is in big games.
Sargent is injured. Same foot/ankle
As a Uruguay fan I will say Argentina has more versatility up top. Pellistri & Maxi can't score but they're incredible goal creation machines, thing is we need Darwin. It's not that we don't have goals from other parts of the field but even still it's scary how Darwin dependant we are.
Darwin in bielsas scheme is a beast. If he is healthy, he will be the top scorer easily
@@mateofernandez5975 He has been phenomenal, I'm not mad at his contributions or that the team is built around him in attack just saying if he's not avilable or goes through a rough patch (whether form or some team managing to clamp him down) we're in trouble.
Uruguay has a lot to demostrate to say that they are better than Argentina, Argentina is copa america champions, finalissima champions and world cup champions. Uruguay is playing good for about...what 7 matches? Uruguay needs to play a lot of good games to say they are better than Argentina. You are so inocent, dont be concacaf kids
Messi's 37 in two weeks, not 35 haha
¿Qué dicen estos Village People?
Here's my rankings (AM, W, CF) and Transfermarkt Value:
16 Bolivia (2.2m)
15 Costa Rica (2.6m)
14 Peru (6m)
13 Panama (8.7m)
12 Jamaica (11.5m)
(gap)
11 Venezuela (12.8m)
(gap)
10 Ecuador (26m)
9 Canada (63.7m) (Only bc David...)
8 Chile (27m)
7 Paraguay (56m)
6 Mexico (62m) (IF Mexico starts Santi)
(gap)
5 USA (95m)
(gap)
4 Colombia (116m)
3 Uruguay (100.5m)
(gap)
2 Brazil (365m) (Vini production & Defense hurts Brazil's ranking)
(gap)
1 Argentina (276m)
And that #1 for Argentina has me NOT playing DiMaria. That's how big the gap is. I went younger with wonderkid Alejandro Garnacho and Lionel Messi as the winger, Alexis Mac Allister at AM and Lautaro Martinez at CF. Argentina is 100% #1.
You kinda have to include Davies and Buchanan as wingers because they weren’t talked about as midfielders or defenders in this video series. Putting Canada at 122.6M for attack
@@ethanm1012 that would still move them behind usa
Oooof Brazil is not even top 3
It's all about team
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Messi won’t play 90 minutes
