I pulled on her first banner because I like thighs
Also works with Clara and Yunli, she can be played hypercarry (not optimal but for sure possible), can be played entirely SP positive, cutest pet, corpa queen
I got her and her cone with 50 pulls, but missed Ratio (I started playing on Boothill banner). I don't really like Feixiao, wind is not my vibe, and her skirt is a bit weird for me, she is cool but her design, for me, didn't make much sense so... My Clara is the only dps character using Topaz. I really hope that emanator Herta is a monstrous fua unity.

Xueyi is my favorite character. The progenitor of the break and FUA meta, a 4* (I joke, but do I joke?) I waited so long for her to become playable. She's the hardest character to build. She wants a lot: crit, attack, break, speed, all while literally only having break in her traces out of these. Enemies stay broken too long, she can't do her job. Enemies can't get their toughness bar wittled, she can't build her stacks. She's very finnicky in some ways but she's by far the coolest character. The only cooler character than her in the break department is Boothill. Mech babygirl and cyborg babyboy

same here, she might not be #1 but she up there. I do wonder if Fugue will enable her too like she will Himeko. I'll be eagerly awaiting the cooks... My Xueyi is E6 and built for purpose, I just don't get to use her cause she's never the best until we get an "all stats buffer" or something.
I'm interested in making a Xueyi team, would HMC + Robin + Gallagher be good enough? I want Lingsha + Ruan + Fugue to stay with Firefly

Team Topaz since her reveal. She had everything going for her and people were being stupid. Hot, a cool pig that is also a summon, buffs the most fun playstyle in the game, encourages multiple damage dealer comps... she really is a true talent.
i pulled her and loved her hypercarry teams on her first banner (and now she’s fua mother)
Oh I wanted to add: Pela's AOE def shred is 40% at MAX trace (I'm talking like e6 pela trace levels maxed) for 2 turns, 56% with S5 Pearls for 1 turn followed by 40% with her trace for 1
I love how Hoyo made her traces and eidolons like "she's a DPS" but her singular utility is so good no one cared to build DPS Pela
Did a character really "prove", people wrong if the playstyle they are designed for did not fully materialize till more characters/enablers of said playstyle showed up to fully enable them to work to their potential?
I feel like Jiaoqiu should've been in this list. Probably right next to Pela. Boy still gets a lot of doomposting yet he's a fantastic suport.

No, he's best for Acheron, and has some niche uses, that's it.
@@YumiSumire I wouldnt go as far as saying he's niche. He works extremely well with any ult damage based hyper carries. He works EXTREMELY well with Yunli.
Huohuo not being top 3 is ridiculous. At her release, Luocha was the meta sustainer because of how SP positive he was. Most of the community was saying the banner was the easiest skip since launch. It wasn't until about 2.1 that people started even realizing that she was a sustainer with half of a harmony character's kit stapled on for free. Meanwhile, until PF, Himeko and Herta were JUSTIFIABLY garbage-tier. Adding a new game mode that capitalizes on Erudition does not mean that people were wrong about the characters before the game mode existed. It's also like... why put both of them in the top 5, when they fulfill the same context? Not to mention, now that characters like Rappa and Jade are being released, the relative importance of Herta and Himeko is gonna drop like a stone, since we're going to get units that have their basic kit plus power creep.
why are you trying to rewrite history? Huohuo has always been considered as better than Luocha and a mini Harmony unit. In fact, people were claiming she powercrept Luocha, and I myself was defending Luocha back then, that they were equally strong (I was wrong).
Just because some Reddit dwellers kept doomposting about her doesn't mean the community thought she was bad.
Huohuo's banner was considered a skip because 1. Most people back then already pulled Luocha and Fuxuan so you don't need more than two healers and 2. Ruan Mei was coming close and she was the first premium Harmony character in the game. Her beta was also broken with massive buffs.
I'm not rewriting history at all. Once she was live, she was highly regarded, but the overall consensus was that Luocha was still better and Huohuo was an easy skip. Just look up revenue charts and you'll see that her debut banner was the lowest grossing at the very least until 2.2 because I can't find data for banner sales post-2.1 (this even includes the Dr Ratio debut/Kafka rerun).
Before PF people I was one of the few people playing Herta. I already had a cracked Herta by the time it came around.
She went from being T5 MoC _(the only content available)_ to T0 PF and she's been there ever since. Probably the longest running T0 character.
Doesn't mean ppl were wrong about her being bad in moc tho, she shouldnt be on this list
Herta shitting on limited 5*s with the exception of Jade who works best WITH herta in PF is so freaking iconic. If you don't know who to put on one side, Herta will work in every empty slot cause she just shits on this entire mode 😆 Loved Herta since day 1
@@HuyNguyen-mf9fi They weren't wrong about Topaz either. She was bad back then. She didn't have any teams when she was released the same way Herta didn't have a mode.

Topaz is a interesting character. While she did get "better" in terms of teams, it wasnt due to her being really good but rather the team around her being broken. Robin is by far the best harmony, Feixiao is by far the best dps and Aventurine is one of the best sustainers.
Also, if anything, Topaz significantly lost value due to Moze and M7th. Moze is just better for Ratio teams and m7/moze is often a sigedrage instead of a downgrade to her in feixiao teams and sometimes can even be better. In a world there moze and m7 doesn't exist, topaz would have very high value. But now, she is arguably one of the least valuable 5*s.

@@grammysworld5449 Well, Topaz really does only outperform E2 Moze in Ratio teams if she's at least E1.
Everyone acting like E1S1 Topaz is a free character. I agree both Moze and March 7th (who is literally free up to E6) are at worst *minor* downgrades to E0S0 Topaz and sometimes they are surpassing her. It also showed there's nothing special about Topaz, if we get 5* M7 or Moze they instantly powercreep her. Maybe would have better/multiple summons or something, 3.X could be a wild ride.

Xueyi is definitely slept on, many of the newer characters are actually really good with her but most people dont really care, hell exo toughness is amazing for her but people only thought about Boothil and Rappa
Gonna be honest, I got E0S1 Topaz on her first banner purely because I had no impulse control. Definitely one of my best decisions I’ve made in this game
Would like to see a vid on theorycrafting kits for future supports that can synergize with forgotten/niche characters.

i would argue for rappa being there, no one really values her enough, she's strong even against bad match ups (besides aventurine boss) she can beat hoolay in a cicle at a pretty low cost, she's gonna consistantly destroy PF and AS and her MoC clears are gonna be REALLY top tier even against enemies that aren't img weak or that are ST, rappa is honestly a beast and i can see her becoming the best limited break dps in 2.x (if she isn't already which i'd argue she is)
I was the only Pearson saying Topaz was good at the start i was the handful of people waiting for a character like topaz to come.

when a character attack I attack and I Knew it would come to HSR from 1.3 after Blade came out.
I was gonna say huo huo was an immediate increase over bailu for me on my account just for her kit alone...bailu's kit is just too rng to be useful for me as a sudtain but i got e0 gallager and next to Lingsha he feels like he didnt show up to the table as an abundance character....he is def more break support to me so i think it was more of a hoyo character kit issue with me. Overall nice list bro
Counter point, Gallagher is #1 cause he had the biggest glow up (from where he started compared to when FF released). Went from 4* Luocha / Lynx sidegrade (don't cope, that's what he was on release, the QPQ abuse hadn't been discovered yet nor was Robin or FF around to make use of it), to a god among men. A 4* sustain dealing 400-500k damage in an ult combo? If you had told me that back in 1.0 I'd have fainted. 😂
I do think it's fair to have Topaz, Himeko and Gally in the top 3 but I do feel the latter is #1

Same thing for Aventurine 😂 , wholay gives Aventurine infinite shields and Fua
I wish I didn't hate Topaz much(her actions in Future Market), I cud only try for her in Robin's debut with 40 pity, after that I can't even save for 2 80ish pity in 1 patch.
Btw, correct me if I'm wrong but Ratio doesn't have his BiS team yet since the debuffs he need are much more than the normal RRAT team provides. If So, I still believe he has a lot of room to grow as a main dd.

Topaz mains might be the only mains that always keep telling people how successful they are for investing in and pulling for her
I get how people get excited when they are right about something and want to show off and be acknowledged, but it's been almost a year, and they never stop saying, "Investing in victory means playing the long game!"

I don't think Jade have "proved everyone wrong" all the reasons to use her in certain scenarios still hold true from her release to now. She haven't really received anything that would make her pop out like how Topaz getting Dr Ratio and Feixiao, or Himeko/Herta getting Purefiction.
Yeah Jade is exactly what people thought she was.. Better than Argenti, but mostly niche all the same

Don’t really think boothill should be on there. He is more underrated and was between some insane banners kinda like yungli. Though I don’t know who else to put in so it fine
Topaz is so good they made 2 4 star versions of her and they are stronger then some 5 stars march moze
HM7 and Moze made Topaz even worse to pull, especially in terms of actual value. The actual top 2 would be the Herta/Himeko ever since PF came out, and himeko is becoming better in MoC due to some bosses. Gallagher was always good so idk why hes there.
Idk about the Himeko comment.. I've been using hybrid Himeko since Mei came out

Id put Huo Huo up more than Gallagher.. Huo Huo got shit for months and is a 5 star.. Gallaghers potential was realized a few weeks after release and now he's doompost bait for Lingsha

@@kondoriano4813 crit damage so low, his main source of buffing crit damage is the exceed after 100% crit rate
crit rate is useless 30% on any character is enough
action advance is the only good thing in his kit honestly (we already have sparkle, bronya, and robin's whole team advance)
30% energy on a single target is really useless and underwhelming, if it was a whole team it would've been good but it's so low for single target
his dmg% isn't that good either

@aymenlahfa234 "Team action advanced" Bruh, they are not going to make a Robin v2😂. I do want him to be buffed however, basically instead of being a stronger bronya, I want a stronger TY. I dont think they are going to make a character that has a stronger single target damage buff than bronya, but giving like 60 - 70 energy makes him essential in all most teams and not just Summons.
I don't think he's *weak* but his kit sure is boring and uninspired. We've seen it all before and if you're not going all in on summon meta he sure as hell isn't worth a pull if you have Sparkle or like E1+ Bronya. The fact that he doesn't advance forward *all* summons makes it seem like summon meta isn't going to be a thing, just a hypercarry variation. RIP Topaz and Lingsha basically. Maybe we get a "summon Robin" too later in 3.X I honestly wouldn't be surprised but Sunday is not the meta changer we all thought, he's a Jing Yuan slave on release and probably will get a top tier DPS to support the next patch but ehh I'm not excited. Fugue seems like the star of that patch tbh.
