Kids should be able to go outside and have little adventures, explore and just have fun. Because of this crime, parents are going to be even less likely (understandably) to let them do what kids have done for centuries. It's terrible, it's beyond words. So very sorry for the families of these two girls.

Got a feeling RA's wife hung up during the confession convo because she was protecting him. She probably hung up so he couldnt say anymore as she knew their convo was being recorded and their convo could have been full of "huh?", "what?" for him to confess to her a few times in that convo. I believe his confessions, I dont think he confessed due to mental illness and I think any mental illness he may have (or may not if he is faking it as many do) is due to being caught and not from guilt. He lived his life just fine after he killed those poor, innocent girls. Im also sick of hearing "hes lost weight due to his poor mental health". No, hes lost weight because hes in prison, with awful food, no alcohol (he was supposdly an alcoholic), not much exercise and probably the stress of being caught.

They didn't know it was him walking in the bloody clothes but they did know there was somebody walking and bloody clothes they just didn't do a follow-up on him. If they would have followed up they would have had him a lot sooner and they would have basically come out with all this evidence they came out with recently but it would have only taken maybe a month or two. They apparently have his gun that he ejected an unspent round from. So that means they had a bullet and the guy's name from the beginning. Check the database for gun owners in the area and basically his name's going to come up again. There's so many times that his name should have come up. Why doesnt the coverage of the Iowa cousins, Lizzy and Lyric get this much attention? I cannot understand. Two kids under 12 riding bikes at noon on a summer day- just vanish in a couple minutes and their bodies found 25 miles away... the the police cheif gets fired for being dangerous-- and there is NO coverage. So bizarre.

It's not mentall insanity ... it's hyper anxiety.
He did the same thing after he saw himself from the phone of one of the girls on the news ... he checked himself in a mental hospital ... because of hyper anxiety.
Yes ... they knew the call was monitored and taped ... that's why RA's wife finally hung up ... not because she was mad but because she realized what was going to happen and was protecting him. She has been by his side through this whole thing. The reason it went as far as it did was because they got hyper emotional and needed to talk and wasn't thinking about anything else ... but lost in the moment.
After that ... he got hyper anxiety and has not talked on the phone since. He even panicked to the point of eating paper.
It's pretty crazy ... that he was so tough with all those guns and knives while commanding those little girls down the hill and now he is a weak mentality.

He said Libby appeared to be the target, stabbed a bunch of times, was naked and buried under sticks, limbs and leaves. Abby was "sitting against a tree like a little doll fully dressed". She was stabbed in the neck and heart, so it was quick. She showed all this in live videos on RUclips a long time ago. I was so fascinated with this case and I still can't believe they finally got BG. Remember everyone is innocent until proven guilty. I can't wait to learn all the details and get the answers we've always wanted. All the rumors over the years from there were dolls at the crime scene to Ron Logan was BG to the girls stumbled upon a drug deal...etc so many crazy rumors. Never expected that a bullet was at the scene and it matches his gun. BG was right there this whole time right under their nose. I honestly never thought they'd catch the guy. I didn't even know if BG was still alive or if he was across the country. So many suspects from Logan, the preacher, family members to even the sheriff😂😂. Just goes to show you that people will believe anything. What a ride this case has been. If he is guilty and it looks like he is then it's funny how tough he's taking it cause he killed two terrified young girls and took everything they'd ever have along with hurting their loved ones and family. Don't do the crime cause its never worth it.
