FW190 FockeWulfe-190 5 stars engine start. this plane is great for dog fight & bomber. i have had flown this fighter bird in games only, acrobatic plane, easy to drum rolls & roll over you gotta love this bird fighter (Y) :D
You're comparing a large radial with a V-12. Radial engines are naturally much harder to start because they have no oil sump to catch excessive oil from the holding tank so the oil tends tp pool to the bottom cylinders when the airplane is parked. There are advantages and disadvantages to both types of engines.
watch videos of the corsairs and p-47s and they do not like to start aswell. that V-12 was a good engine but they really started to lose power at high altitudes and thats why the p-47 was a great escort plane.

watch a BF-109 startup with its inverted 12 cylinder and she will start even better than a p-51 at times
I think this 190 started up quite well
