my check engine light still stayed on it's the damn oxygen sensor top one the important one of course but f*** it this b**** got 200,000 miles on it I ain't about to change it it runs great a little rich but oh well it's good for it it's been running with this light for 30,000.. the Mobil 1 full synthetic extended performance oil said it protects for up to 20,000 miles even though it says it protects for 20,000 miles I change every 12000 miles because if you do that to a Honda it's going to last you a long f****** time you take care of the oil in a Honda or a Toyota you'll be passing it on to your grandkids

Found your video immediately after I located a manual for my 2007. You were spot on; OIL LIFE % then hold SEL/RESET for 10 seconds, release then press and hold for 5 more seconds and voila! Awesome video, would have saved me time to find your video first, and was certainly better to see it in action. Thanks for taking the time to make the post!

Haha, thanks! I was flipping out. Just changed my oil, so wasn't prepared for resetting that.
Found a similar issue on the fuel cap once before Just need to be firm and twist 3x and make sure the O-ring/gasket on the cap isn't too worn out or chipped. Dash should bring up "check fuel cap" if that issue is present. In case anyone was curious.

Curious, does it always reset to 100 % even if you haven't filled the tank 100% or will it calibrate to the correct / accurate percentage once you start driving ? I dumped two bottles of oil into my 2007 civic, it reset to 100% (from 10%) but is it ACTUALLY 100% full??

Thank you buddy the rent came up I kind of figured it out myself I just hit the reset button and the wrench one away and I just used my own stickers on the windshield full synthetic 20000 mile oil changes it's pretty nice mobile one is the best in my opinion

I would reset it but also make a note somewhere of how much you added and the date and keep it in the glove box. It would be nice to know how long that quart lasts you.

I can't confirm that. At the very least, you should check your oil levels to make sure you're not losing oil.

Did it change at all? It should reset back to 100% and you have to hold and hold and hold and hold and hold and hold....
Hold it for a long time. If it doesn't reset you have an issue.
