If you have found that your computer has a split disk i.e the disk drive has been split into two then you can merge the drives letters to make one drive instead of two, just as long as both drives are on one physical disk.
You can download the software used in this video @ partitionwizard.com
I have win 11. (ugh) I did the download and did the left click on the c drive and the menu did not appear with the options as you have in your video at 3:41. Also, my D drive that I am trying to merge with the C drive, even if I unname it, still will not merge. The drive is empty but I can't get the two drives side by side. The 3rd party software didn't work.
I am afraid if the two drives are not side by side then you will not be able to merge the two drives together. Your only option is to wipe the drives clean with a format remove the partitions manually and reinstall windows.
Good video. If you ever have to replace internal hard drives how would you "undo" this?
Resize the drive (make it smaller) then create a new partition in the empty area,
so I am on win 10 and I have 2 drives different USB and I am trying to merge 1.90t e to my main drive c is that possible?
I am afraid not!
@@cwtek1 sadly I found that out .. wish we are able to do that that we puked be very awesome and helpful
@@cwtek1 yes it dose
Currently not serving any special features, just serves the same as disk management does. So I recommend using disk management rather than installation 3rd party software
How do you merge two partitions in the disk management tool?
can this be done with "easeus partition master" ?
I am not sure I have not used that but I am sure it will be possible as most partition tools have this function now.
I have 3 disks and drive D: and drive C: aren’t on the same one or next ti each other. Please respond soon I really need more storage
If they are not on the same disk then unfortunately you cannot merge them, you will need to get the disk(s) replaced with larger ones!
How do we get them replaced with larger ones I have the same problem my laptop is 32gb and has 1tb but for some reason it’s split and the other half is on another disk
@@neiceyneicey360 Unfortunately you cant Merge Physical disks unless you have a raid system.
My laptop stuck on logo while merging. Any solution ?
leave it for as long as you can it may still be working in the background.
bruu we have to pay just to fucking free space on a pc thats bs
Blame your PC manufacturer for setting it up that way in the first place.
