Happy Canada Day Tyson and Family! That old pull blade you picked up sure could be a fine summer side project for Shaun to set up. Imagine the conversations he and Antoine could have. Stay Safe in that heat! -Bob...
That thing is awesome. Handy for filling in ruts or spreading gravel. All kinds of activities. Lol. Just grab some blade off a county grader while they are napping in the heat. If they are anything like ours they just run around with them in the air anyways. Hahaha
Be careful in that heat!! We had 102 Friday, 107 Saturday, 112 Sunday and 116 Monday 😵😵😵 finally cooled down yesterday!! We baled all day.. Love the grader! An orbit motor should work great.
The county where I live has a couple of them old pull grades I see them using them to grade the shoulders off the hardtop looks to me like they've changed it all around put hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic motors on where the old hand controls where, handy little tool to have around the farm, hope you have a happy Canada Day Out There Tyson🍻🍻🤠 🇨🇦
You feeling the heat up there in Canada Tyson but down here in New Zealand we've got the cold air coming up from Antarctica. Minus 2 degrees Celsius in the morning.
Pretty cool. Plus 21 this morning felt amazing lol. I'm not sure what it is now but it sure is hot. Hiding out of the heat today at work doing injectors on a 6.0L. Take care and happy Canada day
You should weld a couple straight bars with some hydraulic cylinders on it. That would allow you to control those other functions they cut off. Those features might come in handy. Nice purchase though!
Hello I enjoyed watching your video alot. Nice grader you both there. It is very hot here today where i live at. + 37 here where i live at today. Tomorrow it is supposed to be +38 tomorrow on Friday. It not very good for the crops especially Canola
we used to have one that just the mow board and round peice above it had a tung welded , the blade was fix , with wheels on back . work good .. just did not pick blade very high,. about 10 in. not good for deep stuff.
This heats been brutal eh, I started cutting a 40 acre piece of hay last night went good, now looks like we’re gonna get some thunderstorms of course which I don’t really mind lol
If you your potatoes in a wide open area you could hill them with that grader. Do you have any potatoe bugs. We have tons of the bloody things again this year.
Looks like a fine grader. I could use one. The old pull types from the 1940s had their own engine mounted to power the hydraulics and were pulled by a farm tractor.
I can remember many years back i would take a trip below the border to the USA in July or August. People would ask us if we still had snow there. Used to get a charge from that as people would never take the time to see what goes on a couple hundred miles away.
@@Northern_Farmer yep Lytton BC broke the record for hottest temperature ever recorded in Canada, now I just seen the whole little town burnt to the ground! Sad stuff
Oh ya it’s been very hot and humid here in the state of Maine as well. Been sweating like president Biden trying to complete a sentence. That looks like a sweet old pull grader.
@@Northern_Farmer yes that’s crazy. And if your like me I don’t handle heat very well at all. I hope you get some lower temps bud. As always WORK SAFE 😎😎
Nice looking garden. Thanks for the great videos. Florida Joe

Boy that is very nice garden I can not believe it is that hot up north
I can't either

Tyson you better be careful. Canada will hire you to take care of the roads. Lol
I'll be ready
Great video 😀nice looking grader and great looking garden 👍👍😀
Good video like it, something different even shots of the garden was cool thks guys.
She works pretty damn good for what you paid for the old girl
Nice garden.
The wheels powered the gear boxes. the levers engaged/disengaged the gear boxes to adjust height, pitch and angle.
Cool
And they liked to break wrists hahaha
Hey Tyson, that looks like the front end off an old CAT no.12 motor grader!💪👍
I think that may have been an allis motor grader that someone has cutt off.
Be careful in that heat!! We had 102 Friday, 107 Saturday, 112 Sunday and 116 Monday 😵😵😵 finally cooled down yesterday!! We baled all day..
Love the grader! An orbit motor should work great.
Oh that will prob work nice for clearing snow quickly in a few passes. Very cool!
And ur garden looks great!👌💪🏻👍
Thanks Bob.. thats what I was thinking
Happy Canada Day. Garden looks really good. I see you have several 4 legged supervisors as well.
We’re constantly putting up hay in 90-100+ degree weather. The only way we won’t put up hay is if we don’t have AC in our tractors.
Great idea using it for snow! Hot and humid here also! New England. Keep cool!👍
Nice grader, handy to have. Looks like a cat 66 pull type grader. They had a small engine to run all the functions.
From to cold. To freaking hot. Old iron gets new life on farm good stuff
Nice lookin garden!

Happy Canada 🇨🇦day
Happy Canada Day Tyson! That looks like a good unit. It will probably do a great job around the farm.

Ohvyea..its blistering hot
I need one of those to fix the potholes going back our lane.
Handy new to you toy lol! You can figure out the controls as you go
Those levers operate clutch packs. The clutch packs then turn drive shafts which are connected to gear boxes which changes the blade.
Ok I see
Nice looking grader

Great video Tyson
Nice grader. I cut some hay the other day and could bale in a day with this heat. Decided to hold off now until it cools off
You should weld a couple straight bars with some hydraulic cylinders on it. That would allow you to control those other functions they cut off. Those features might come in handy. Nice purchase though!
Nice garden
Cool grader looks like it works fine.
So far so good
That big gear box is suppose to go to the wheels tgen u direct the power to whatever leaver u want to turn or move it
I want one looks like a sweet setup

Thanks Leo
Looks like a good tool for the Arsenal!

Me neither...as long as it doesn't hail....be good to wash that pollen off...its crazy
You had a person ride on the back and run it call Shawn lol
That grader will get the job done nicely
Yea its kinda cool lol...I gotta practice on my hydraulics and go slow
@@Northern_Farmer going slow is usually the best anyway
@@Northern_Farmer like you said something to rotate the blade would be handy
Maybe it's good that the operator station isn't used now, I can see Shaun getting stuck with that job :)
Lol
If you your potatoes in a wide open area you could hill them with that grader. Do you have any potatoe bugs. We have tons of the bloody things again this year.
Just the ones that are on the leaves
Do a video about whats in the garden
Graders can do a lot They tilt and can shape.
You have a grader pulled by a tractor
That's too hot! Neat grader :)
Pretty cool, works good
Looks like a fine grader. I could use one. The old pull types from the 1940s had their own engine mounted to power the hydraulics and were pulled by a farm tractor.
I would like to see you the pot shaft and get it to work like a real grader
Would be nice if you could figure out a way to get some down pressure on the blade
More weight
Sure could use one of them on my place
Hope it cools some for you guys !!
looks nice tyson 👍👌
Thanks
Pretty cool 😎
Nice old grader, it will do the job, I did not know it get that hot in Canada, warmer than most areas here, nice video
So hot ...it got up to 49 in BC Yesterday in one town
I can remember many years back i would take a trip below the border to the USA in July or August. People would ask us if we still had snow there.

For steering the back wheels
👍👍👍good evening
Good morning Tyson ☕☕
Lots of hay leftover?
See if you can get a book on the grader...operating manual
Happy Canada Day Boys!!!
Oh ya it’s been very hot and humid here in the state of Maine as well. Been sweating like president Biden trying to complete a sentence. That looks like a sweet old pull grader.
Yea we have never been this hot...over 100 here is unheard of.....and in some places it got up to 112

Top five?
Wow no ac. That dont seem possible to a guy from ga. Lol
You never really used it here much...you had a couple 90 degree days a year and thst was it
Looks like someone cut engine off an old road grader. Thanks
Ft Mac 43.7 not nice
Scrap
Good scrap lol
I hope she was cheap, seems not so useful with all the stuff you have already
