We are prepping land to build a house so we can move home from NYC back to TN. We just bought a used tractor and are looking at our needs vs budget and this is exactly what my husband said we needed to get next!! We have to build our grandkids a practice soccer mini field and baseball practice field too. This would definitely get some good family, friend, and community use in our hands.

After living in this house for 6 years and having an unlevel yard with nothing but rocks, roots, and weeds, I could have dirt hauled in and have my dream yard. I help friends do yard work here and there and this would come in so handy not only for me but helping others which makes me happy!

Those guys at Northwoods are really hitting it out of the park. Those grader boxes are really nice. I've been saving up for one myself -- we live on a private gravel road with 8 other families and when a big storm comes through, it ruts the road terribly. Having something like this to help repair the road without having to call in a big company for interim repairs would be great.

Neil, I enjoy your videos every week. I stumbled across your channel last fall and went back to the beginning. I believe I've watched every one you've posted. I am the Road Superintendent and Cemetery Sexton for my local Township in southwest Ohio. We Maintain 52 miles of Twp Roads , 5 Cemeteries and a Community Park. My 14yo son and I mow yards on the side and I have a 3520 Kioti Tractor with a loader. I do small dirt jobs and gravel driveways. Like you, I stay busy and go non-stop for the most part. Those grader boxes are pretty cool and seem to work great. Keep doing what you do.

I think my son even sent a graduation party invite and a note to you a couple days ago. I have always wanted a grader box for my long driveway because every year after winter it gets all wrecked from the plow. We have a big utility tractor with a bucket that we use to level the driveway, but it never works like we want it to. A grader box would definitely help out the look of our driveway, and look super good on the tractor!!

Hey Neil, don't forget the batteries! This is a great implement, I don't have a need anymore. I subscribed to your channel maybe 3 years ago. You were doing something with these little tractors and I had just bought a 1984 John Deere 430 with the Yanmar diesel and did pretty much the same thing you did with Bruno. Plus I saw your Super Duty dump trucks and loved them to pieces! Especially the black one. I had several questions and you were very helpful and I finished the tractor after a year. I had to source many parts that had been robbed over the years, but it was 100% when I was done. I made a ripper out of necessity. My sister had her septic system repaired and all tore up. The loader had made a mess and she couldn't get him back to finish grade. I took a square piece of 6x6 steel 5' long tube and I cut 1" square solid stock at a 45 degree angle and welded them to the 6x6 about every 7" making some gnarly spikes. I put a hitch on it that slid into my receiver and filled the 6x6 with concrete. I was skeptical, but what I threw together demolished the ruts and clots and pulverized everything perfectly smooth. I was really shocked. I never found a 48" tiller or loader for the 430 in the two years I owned it and that is the main reason I bought it. I'm not sure it was really quite big enough so I gave up and sold it for $6,000 and I don't know if I made any profit! lol Anyway I bought a new tractor, almost bought a Deere but (don't hate) I bough one of the South Korean 25 hp4x4 with a loader and 60" tiller tractor that was over $4,000 less than a comparable Deere with much higher capacities. I probably should have kept the 430 if for no other reason than anytime someone came into my shop the slobbered all over it! I guess you have to move on to get where you are going. Another great video! Keep em coming!

Been considering building a hydraulic pull type box blade for my 420. Maintaining a couple driveways, scratching up crusted soil, and teaching my young sons the basics of earthwork.

I just bought my grandfathers house and had to replace the sewer lines and my yard is now a mess. The whole yard is actually a mess from all the years of neglect. Having this grader box would make fixing up my yard so much easier. I love watching your videos every Sunday afternoon. I have learned so much from you over the years. Keep making these great videos.

Love your videos! We just moved to a 1.25ACR property that has ZERO landscaping. Your videos have helped tremendously with learning how to properly grade, flatten, and use the right tools for the job.

May have to try one of these pull behind grader boxes. I’ve always used the traditional style on a 3 point hitch, but these look like a great option for driveway maintenance. Thanks for sharing your experience with it! 👍

Great video Neil, I think a box like this is a fantastic option for those who want to run a grader box behind their garden tractor or ATV, but don't want to wire it directly into there battery, or those who have machines that are not equipped with hydraulics. Your pond project really showcased how these grader boxes excel in finish grading. Great work!

Neil awesome idea to give this away. Great video showing how well it works behind a regular lawn tractor or anything for that matter. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Mike.

Hi Neil, you have been educating on the value of pull type grader boxes for years. You may have finally convinced me to pull the trigger on one of these since I think it'll really help finishing the sloped and uneven areas of the driveway. Try as I might with the box blade, I always end up cutting too deep in spots where there are changes in contour. I really enjoy your content and delivery, thank you for the time and effort you put into DDD.

Definitely like the battery setup. Being able to use batteries we already have on hand is great. Maintenance on battery and gas powered equipment can be forgotten about easily. The ability to run off your favorite battery platform is a game changer.
Congrats on the success of your RUclips channel. Excellent family oriented content. 😁

Hey Neil!! Grab that extra battery!! Lol I was surprised to see all that work and it still had 4 bars. I use an old gate to drag my driveways so the box with the rippers would help tremendously! I had my wife watching your first pond video the other day. Keep up the great vids!!
