You missed something- other female friends might be friends with the groom but OP is a friend of the whole family. The bride might not be as accepted into the family and OP is basically a bonus relative because of length of knowing each other. In comments did OP specify how long she’s known the groom? Is it from birth? Were they next door neighbors as kids? It’s not just her looks, grooms sister likes OP more than she likes Bride and that’s telling more than just bride jealousy over looks.
Is it possible that he said OP’s name in his sleep or during s*x? That would account for the attitude. And, even if nothing had ever happened between him and OP, after that denials would sound weak and dishonest

Plenty of people are jealous and controlling despite their partner never doing anything wrong and going out of the way to try and appease them.
