The worst part of me hopes he and Sarah get together. She deserves a serial cheater, he deserves a crazy wife.

The absolute NERVE of Sarah and her friend for acting like any of this was OP’s fault! Sarah was the one that ruined the wedding and made it all public. The ex husband ruined it by cheating.
He claims he sided with her at the wedding because she's psycho and he didn't want to upset her more. Yeah, so why was he telling his wife, while they were ALONE at home, that she needed to apologize to Sarah??

I don't get why he CONTINUED to be pissy with OP for days after the wedding if his only reason for defending Sarah was to alleviate the potential for psychotic behavior at the wedding. The wedding was over. Where was the threat at that point? That dude is just garbage all around.
I think perhaps the guy was on some level, flattered that the ex girlfriend showed up to ruin his wedding
I hate the “They were drunk” excuse. Your actions have consequences wether you are intoxicated or not and you have to deal with those consequences.

Josh and OP were together for what, 7 years? And he was with Sara for nearly 6. Sara and Nicole are really bad at math if they saybthis was something that happened "years ago." Good for OP for getting out. What she thought was love sounds a whole lot like lovebombing, and was intended to assuage his guilt while making sure she didn't notice anything that he was up to.

Rule one finances are always separate. Two never trust always verify. Rule three follows your code of ethics. Whatever that might be and make sure you both are on the ethics list.
And the next time any of them say, well, it was in the past. You say the past is prolog for the future. Once a cheater, always a cheater. I would have him and his family. Pay for anything regarding the wedding that they haven't already paid for they are responsible for raising such an individual.
If she's only 23 then they've been together for 9 years and he was cheating for more than 5 of those years. So he was cheating for more than half of their relationship. This doesn't get to be stuffed in the "it happened years ago" category.

Him accusing the ex he cheated with of being "psycho" as a justification for taking her side doesnt even make sense. Why would he still be cold and angry with his new bride days later if thats what it was about?
So he was still lying even when he was "comming clean". And OP kind of glosses over how that conversation went, but it sounds like he tried to deny it until he couldnt.
I wouldnt be surprised if he was still manipulating Nicole and Sarah and thats why they felt a need to defend him and attack OP. Which means he still has relationships with both of them, despite one of them supposedly being "psycho" and one supposedly being a racist who hated his almost wife.
I also wouldnt be surprised if the idea that "nicole never liked [OP]" was also manipulation from Josh to make sure someone who had knowledge of his cheating never got too close to the person he was cheating on and felt compelled to rat him out.
OP, as much as it hurt it could have been so much worse. That you learned the way you did is horrible. The one thing you can be grateful for is no children were involved. Best wishes for your future OP!

Not three minutes in and I'm calling it: Husband cheated on OP with the other woman. The MOMENT he said OP should apologize to her because she hurt her feelings.
I found out after my divorce that my ex cheated on me during his bachelor party. He became abusive and continued to cheat on me the whole 3 years we were married.
At least kids weren't evolved so she has no reason to see him again.

If Sarah was so worried about what would happen if OP found out, why did she go to the wedding and go nuts? This is how she wanted it to end. You don't get to cause a situation and then b*tch to the person you wronged and try to guilt them for reacting.
It wasn't really that long ago, she's 23. If it happened in high school (only 4 years) and lasted 6 they would have been at least 19 more the likely 20 or 21 when it ended. So not even 5 years.

You have to be 100% financially independent so you’re not ruined just in case something like this happens.
It’s so important to live on your own for at least a while before getting married!! And always keep your finances separate and be able to support yourself no matter what. Leaving relationships can be hard enough, don’t make it harder.

When brozo's red flag was revealed, he made the biggest red flag parade! Not because of his reaction on the wedding, but with threatening OP to be back to him, and turning his blame to her and still feeling sad because of reputation? Which one? And about those excessive love demonstration, I must say... the loudest "romantic" guys are mostly attempts to cover the red flag actions. OP is better without him and I hope she can recover and find someone who can really be a partner with her.
